[MORPH] Inspira v0.2

Here's a quick morph of joshuas_79's Inspira theme for D/S.
notification bar, popups, font, and a few widgets.
I'll probably add more later if people like it.

Oops! forgot to include the theme color file for cyanogenmod.
I'll post it right now. I'm not gonna do any hex edits in order to make it work on any other roms.

not as it is right now. I think that's in rosie.apk if you wanna do it though, idk if they've changed their naming scheme in the past 75389473years

it didn't change the indicators for the buttons when u pull the status bar down. The one for wifi and stuff. And it didn't change the status bar

It doesn't do anything to the power widget in the notification bar.. I just have mine set to white.
As for the notification bar, what rom are you running? It might have just not stuck.

Just a suggestion, please update the Instruction if this requires De-odexed ROM. Some people may load it and get a boot loop.

Lol I had no idea u could change the color in setting thanks for the heads up. I'm runnin cyan rc1 maybe that's why the status bar didn't change
Edit: as for de odexed I thot it was common knowledge that metamorph doesn't work on odexed roms

Filling 10 Character requirement.

I love this theme, but has anyone had trouble with installing framework-res since upgrading to CM6 RC2? Fonts install, but the framework just sits and never completes.
Edit: seems I'm running into an issue with fonts too, a number of characters show as just squares.

I'm about to upgrade, just woke up. I'll check it out.
Edit: I'm not having any issue with fonts. Settings.apk, Torch.apk, & framework-res.apk won't stick at all though, I'm not sure.

I ended up redownloading the zip, framework installed then, but still running into odd issues with the font, stands out the most with application titles. Terminal emulator, sound recorder, and rom manager each have a series of squares in the title as an example.

1) Place the inspira.xml from the OP in /sdcard/CMTheme/
2) You need to go into Settings> CM Settings> User Interface> Tweaks Extras> Select a theme, and then select inspira from there.

Here you have my first official ROM for the Galaxy Nexus. Let me first say that this rom was made 80% for me and 20% for you, so please don't ask for drastic/ridiculous changes. It is intended to be closer to stock, but with minimalistic themeing and just the right amount of tweaks (IMO). All included system/Gapps have been inverted, thanks to Travp624 (find him on Twitter @travp624), and they look fantastic. Almost all of the "holo" theme has been removed and replaced with white/black. It is based off of Peter Alfonso's 2/6 Bugless Beast nightly which includes 4.0.4 proprietaries. I have been using it for some time now and really love it, I hope you enjoy it too!
Normal disclaimer about how flashing a rom can be dangerous for your phone and such. Please always perform a backup before flashing any of my work (or anything really). If you some how mess up your phone it's your fault, not mine. You are not allowed to sue me, all you'd get would be student loans anyways.​

Thanks for all the support guys! I hope you are enjoying the experience. I am already aware that app restore from the market does not work (I use Ti so wasn't aware of the problem until release). But I will try and get that working in the next release. So, just something to be aware of.

Can someone post a shot of the Settings menu? Is it standard or blacked out background as well? Thanks....looking good.

Thanks a lot for your rom. Works good so far. I've noticed the speaker kinda gets hot when having a phone call. Hmmm don't remember having that issue before. Anyone else? Anyway can u please use the ics cyan color for the notification bar icons ? Or a zip for others like me that love that color . Thanks again bro. Coffee or a beer on ur way soon

As pictured above, the settings menu also has the holo theme removed and uses the standard black as with all the other apps.

Hmm, not sure I have noticed this and I have no idea what would be causing that if it is in fact different from other roms. Yup, I can put together a zip with the stock status bar icons. Do you also want the notification pulldown to be stock colored as well or just the status bar icons? And my 21st is on Monday, so let's make it a beer

rom looks great, im waiting for the market fix before i install. i just have a few questions. does the battery icon have setting like in gummy where you can add the battery with percentage or change to circle battery or the blue bar if not that would be great to have because people have different preferences. also are the phone,people, and messaging themed black? post a pic please. also is there a way to change the bottom buttons? thanks in advance for listening.

It does not have the different battery settings sorry, just the flashable for the MIUI battery. Yes, all system/Gapps (excluding Talk, which is being a little ***** haha) have been themed dark. You can find screenshots of them HERE with some very minor changes to 1-2 of them. This is the guy I worked with to get them in the rom.
Yes, changing the navigation bar icons is very easy. But since I'm sure there will be plenty of people who want them changed and I can't take the time to do them each individually, I will probably just post a tutorial for those who would like to do so.

[Request] [Jellybean] "stock" google notification icons

I'm offering a $5 bounty (paypal) for someone to help me out with a statusbar mod for the stock JB nandroid ROM floating around if I can get it. I can't believe how elusive this is, but I don't want the white/black notification icons in my status bar. I want them to be colorful and not dimmed like the current status bar makes the icons look. I would prefer they look just like the stock icons from 2.3 or 2.2, small versions of the icons within the app drawer. So far, I've only found them so far in crazy cartoon styles, or in a flat color (all orange or purple or blue, not stock), which I'm not into. If someone could please just make a flashable zip file for this, I'd appreciate this.
I've tried installing Apktool in windows and linux, and every time i get a bad install that won't decompile anything or the one time I got it decompiled, editing systemui.apk would work for about 5 minutes every time I pushed it and rebooted. but after the first notification (from any of the edited .png's) it would revert back to the B/W scheme. I can't find a tutorial of an apk do-recompile that is simple enough for me to get it to work, nor can I get apktool working properly. I have also not found a singleI'm striking out in every way imaginable. Can someone please help me?
I would really appreciate this if someone can help me out. I'll offer a $10 reward if someone is willing to help me get apktool up and running and walk me through the decompile, edit, and recompile of the app myself so I can learn.

Primarily, ALL G-apps. I would like all of those icons to look the same as the app icons that are in the app drawer. gmail, email, gtalk, messaging, playstore (updates available, install complete), play music, etc. I'm not sure if that is specific enough, but if it's not I'll do what I can to make them more specific.
Also, I used the newer apkmulti-tool and got the apk decompiled.... but now I can't find any "Stat_notify_xxx.png" in ANY of the drawable folders... Maybe the notification icons are confined to the apps themselves now? When I was doing this before, I was trying on a sense ROM, so maybe that is why I'm confused?

I think I saw these once in a rom... or theme... whenever I'd get a gmail it would show on the status bar and it would pulse red on the gmail outline (M) until notification bar dropped ...

wait, so this launcher theme will alter my status bar notification icons without root? or are you saying this theme will give the "glow" effect when I get a notification on the app icon itself?
I am actually looking for a notification icon mod, like the real tiny ones in the status bar when you receive a new email, sms, etc. and not an adw theme. I prefer to use the stock launcher.

Ah. Well, and this not a knock on you, but this is the only kind of help I've been able to receive so far: "a long time ago I used to have a phone that did it, try pulling the pngs from a ROM" or I get a link to a theme I can't use again this is nothing against you, but just a statement of frustration that I seem to be the only one unhappy with the b/w notification icons.

settings>date and time> scroll down and uncheck the hide am/pm option.

I noticed the battery percentage is not inside the battery. Anyway we can make that happen?

Ok So just flashed this ROM, my review:
1. One click Download and was fast.
2. Boot is my favourite Nexus clean logo...it took 2 minutes for 1st boot, which was fast in my opinion.
3. The welcome page is new WoW!! I liked it. Thanks Dev
4. Even setting up phone for the first time seems very fast and fluid. No Force Closes, no hiccups.
5. Initial setup uses only 3G Data (Like all other ROMS)
6. Google Restore took 2 minutes approx. which is normal in my view.
7. Holo Launcher is default in this ROM, I always love stock and this launcher looks has that of stock so am keeping it.
8. The ROM has a stock look, which is perfect for me.
9. It has customize ECLIPSE settings, input setting is new, will check that later.
Rest I will update later after playing a bit with it

1. I installed the launcher2 from stock 4.1.2 ROM but its force closing whenever I am trying to put widget in it

Got the same. But the rest is super! I only like the aokp nav bar more then cm navbar because i cant select longpress navbarbuttons

Sorry I never use the 24 hour format so I didn't even think about it. I will look into a fix!

Great room. But 24h clock must be fixed. And i cant find battery settings. There's no "Battery Options *Found under Settings-> System -> Status bar -> Battery status style" for me

Change am/pm style and the 24 hour clock will display properly.

Is is okay if I uploaded to my personal mods thread?

A bug also present in other ROMs, if your default language is other than English, battery icon options for the status bar are gone, resumed to 3 of them only, and 'Hidden' option gives you circle mod battery.
