Time to start a campaign - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

That being, a campaign of Twitter and G+ posts to try and get some form of response from Google about the next OTA for the Galaxy Nexus, or at least some transparency on where they are up to with the release.
I am thinking a hashtag like #NexusOTA

Let's pretend i'm a big person at Android team. I can realease ICS 4.0.5 for you tomorrow, but it'll have nearly same issues as 4.0.3. Do you really want it? I don't.
Next version of ICS will be out as soon as it's ready!

I think what scottatron is saying is why the heck do they take so long...be transparent about at what stage of development they're up to and give us an estimate of when is ready...I mean a the whole premise of a Google phone is the continuing update and support, they can be more open and up front about it

Pretty much spot on.

I agree, there are enough issues to warrant releases. And some regions have yet to get an OTA release. Seems odd given ICS was intended to simplify development by making it platform independent.

Here's the thing... Either you really care that much about being up to date on 4.0.3/4.0.4 instead of 4.0.2, and you just flash a custom ROM; OR you don't care that much and you should be happy with 4.0.2 and it'll be OTAd as soon as it's ready.
Chill. No one is going to do this and no one will listen. You think that Googlers are going to see a bunch of tweets and be like "omg I guess we should start coding this next OTA release! We'll stop slacking!". Good lord, people...
They're not going to release the OTA until its ready. I'd take a 4.0.4 that's fully baked rather than a 4.0.3 that has some fixes and leaves bugs... and another OTA to 4.0.4 after that to fix the rest.

Didn't they run into more problems by giving ETA's and then missing them?

Pretty much. Everyone wants ETA's... until they start giving ETA's that can't be met and/or the ETA's are considered too far in the future.
Pretty much Google will be scolded by whiney kids either way.

As my friend here said "Good lord, people..." If you must have the latest flash the leaked 4.0.4 and be done with it.
And exactly what are you waiting for in the next release? what major issues do you have with 4.0.2?

Why are you on xda developers if you're not doing anything with your phone? There is plenty of forums that are just about stock nexus and that's where you should be .... Some people (like myself) chose to buy a Nexus because it offers you the freedom to choose whether or not you want to root/hack/ROM your phone. I primarily bought the Nexus because I was tired of rooting/ROMing being the only option I had to get a near-AOSP experience with the features I wanted.
It's okay to not root, just don't complain about OTAs if you choose not to. Similar to my previous post -- if you care enough to be following 4.0.x releases, you should not complain about the quickness of your OTAs imho. Part of choosing to stay stock is dealing with the OTA release schedule. There are pros and cons to both sides. If you really want OTAs on your schedule, you just have to do the work and manually make it happen.

This is starting to remind me of the Nexus One and the froyo release. People are freaking out because they aren't getting nightly builds from Google.
Grow up.

Another one star thread, pro.
Just help yourself and root your phone, then we don't have to read these pointless threads.
95% of people here respond as they do because the could care less about OTA's because we install custom ROMs.

now I feel bad for the op.

That's pretty much why I got a Nexus One and stuck with the brand. While the ROM scene is pretty cool I really can't be bothered to spend my life messing around with my primary phone (got sick of that back in the WinMob days), I'd rather have something which just works and doesn't have a 6 month lag for updates due to OEMs and carriers dicking about with the software. But I like hanging about on XDA because it's the first place I'll hear about OTA's and the first place I'll hear about something which will make me re-think my "can't be bothered with custom ROM's" stance.

Boohoo it'll come when it comes. Just stay calm, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the phone.

why do u guys think google is just sitting on its ass and not developing. id rather have something finished than something half baked.
4.0 is a drastic new os, it takes time to develop these things.

What Google needs to do for the Nexus lineup is what they do with Google Chrome, they should have a Stable channel a Beta channel and a developer channel that you can pick from for your updates.

These threads are getting annoying. You bothered to make an account on XDA and you bought a Nexus device, ROOT IT.
Also, Google isn't obligated to give you anything but the latest Official version of Android via source, they don't have to give you an OTA and before you go on and say "the nexus program is all about being first" ITS NOT. Its about establishing a standard for manufacturers and developers to build upon not for some end user to ***** and complain about a small revision change that he doesn't have.
You have Android 4.0
No other phone has Android 4.0
SO SHUT UP AND BE HAPPY

Woo! More unsubstantiated rumors.
With each failed attempt at guessing a release date, our chances of being correct on the next guess improve, right guys? Guys?
So EA17 means that it was completed on the 17th of January. So either they are clueless how to release this OTA without bricking devices or they are really testing the **** out of this one then. I hope its the latter case.
I feel like Charlie Brown going to kick the football. Surely Lucy won't pull it away again this time...
I think this one will actually be the one, theres already proof with that picture. Now Now, I know that it can be edited, but still, it seems like this date will be the one we were actually waiting for.
I just don't get it.
EA17... so it's already done.
It's not out because it's being tested.
So why is there a release date?
- If they know it's fine, it should be out already.
- If they expect it to fail, then how do they know it will be ready by a certain date?
If I had my way a lot would be different... but I don't understand how/why the final release will not be a build dated maybe a week before the actual release date, a date we will not know until it happens.

It makes perfect sense. They are going to test whatever they release for a while to make sure its polished. The rumor that AC received was probably that IF they dont find any major bugs in this version, it will be released on the 21st.
If they are so sure it's fine, they should release it now...
And if they DO find an issue, they'll disappoint everyone AGAIN.
This is nothing more than predicting the future, and they've been doing it poorly for 6mos now, why does Sprint think they'll get it right this time?
Releasing it at such-and-such date assuming all's well is what they have been doing since August.

Sprint isn't leaking the rumors. It's individuals that work for Sprint who want to give us an idea of when we might expect it (then they find some bugs)... or just douchebags that want to throw out rumors for laughs. Again, Sprint doesn't say when they are releasing updates because that makes them look worse if it's buggy or they don't follow through.

I am running 2.2, it has some issues, but works remarkably well. No FC's, and only slight screen rotation lag. So I can wait for Froyo... I am willing to wait because I want them to fix any and all bugs... Whether that be GPS, keyboard misses, screen rotation, whatever..
I am not a Sprint Lacky, have no stock in the company, but how people can get so emotionally attached to a software upgrade is beyond me. I can only imagine what people will be saying if they released a rushed buggy version.
Those of us that flashed the FroYo DK28 will still get this OTA if/when it comes out, right?
Still getting used to this phone. The Nexus One I used to have was a lot different.
I'd be happy with a new leak that's better than DK28 instead of "release dates" for froyo.

So, what's the verdict. Did Big Red kick us to the curb?

We've been EOL for a few months but they did say the GB update would be coming... we saw that early build leak and then nothing.
Is the Droid Incredible the new Droid Eris?
I was hoping for some kind of update before they start releasing those fancy new Windows Phones and I bid adieu to Android. I'm thinking of just finally breaking down and rooting.
Where is the easiest, most straight forward instructions on how to root this puppy. A few ROMS look nice... I figure I might as well try them out.
http://unrevoked.com/ unrevoked is a one click solution for root. Just root. Try out some roms, make a backup of your stock rom if you're unhappy.

Dear XXXXXXXXX,
We are more than happy to be able to provide some clarity to the situation at hand.
Currently, our developers have to work with Verizon to determine when and if a ROM upgrade will be available. Unfortunately, there is no estimated time for availability of any ROM update. Please check the HTC America website for any software updates that may be released, http://www.htc.com/us. Just click on the support link then choose your device.
XXXXXXX, we do apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

I dunno. I was polite but informed. I simply said that I knew they had plans for it & that older or similar hardware (desire, evo, etc) had received the update so I know it's not for a lack of compatibility or power. I also mentioned my displeasure at the fact that they would rather cater to Verizon than support current customers & they might want to take a page out of apples playbook in that regard.
Lastly I let them know that this would be remembered on my next purchase.
Above all be polite but informed.
Well I just finished my second reply. Basically restating previous points made in further detail but with an emphasis on the fact that apple can't sue them for emulating their politics free policy on supporting their current customers which is a major key to their success.
Once again I implore all of you to be the squeaky wheel. It worked for the desire community. So please people, lets demand some grease.

We're not even talking about being rooted or not. We're talking about an update that should have been released already that will bring with it more fixes and other Rom components we need to keep development alive for our phone. I used to love CM but it definitely did not blow my mind, lol. Its just Android with another overlay.
Tv out and 720p camera don't exist in all the GB releases (customs or leak). It won't till the GB OTA or RUU is released, if ever.
I'll see if I can shoot em an email in the a.m. Wifi is spotty where I'm at currently.

Visually, there's no difference between 2.2 and the leaked 2.3. If it's that big of a deal to you, root your **** and install the leaked 2.3. It runs fine.

Wait 12 days for what? What devices haven't been released yet? If you're talking about Nexus 4, that's not what I'm talking about, and the Nexus 4, is Jelly Bean 4.2, not 4.1.1, which is what I was talking about. If Sprint can release it, and Verizon can leak it, why can't AT&T at least leak something, even if it goes through another 2 or 3 leaks before official release.

Thought you were talking about 4.2. But either way. You're comparing carriers. Different carriers release faster than others. So to say verizon or sprint can do it doesn't really hold any significance. AT&T does there own thing. So if you're waiting on them I wouldn't hold your breath dude.
I realize that carriers release things differently, and VERIZON, didn't release there's it's a LEAK. So all I am asking is, where is the AT&T LEAK?

Why do you even need ATT leak when you can use this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1956463
I have been using it for 3 days and it works flawlessly
Because I want something specifically designed for my phone, not one that's close. Also I've seen several articles on here about people having problems with the Sprint version, especially with the GPS, and having to go back to stock 4.1.1, and reset etc......... I use my GPS a lot, so don't have time and can't afford it not to be guaranteed to work. Hence wanting an AT&T leak.

By definition, a leak is, something an owner doesn't want to be made available and somehow becomes available before it's suppose to.
I wouldn't expect AT&T to volontarily "release" a leak...
They're only doing a better job than the other carriers keeping their stuff to themselves.
Of course, that's unless Sprint and Verizon intentionnaly leaked theirs...

As for the Sprint leaks I understand your reluctancy to flash it. Worse case is if it didn't work flash back to what did. That's the great part about Android.
I had issue with a certain JB rom until I found Graxxixnyc port and it works flawlessly. GPS et al.
Other then that just wait for ATT to give us JB, but as task said don't hold your breath as if we get official from them by the end of this year we would be lucky.

Yes, I know it's something that the owner doesn't want out, but yet somehow all carriers seem to have them. Which was the point of this post. Thank you Task650, I realize that AT&T takes FOREVER, been with them seems like FOREVER. Development for the G?

Heya, believe it or not we are both coming from the same place. I loved my EVO 3D and hacked it to the max. However, has the months went by the phone's specs were no longer "flagship" quality. As a result, I went with LG OG after much and I mean much research. To your answer it is not empty but it just in hibernation until Jelly Bean is released, which is going to happen at any time very soon for Korean already has it (End of Jan I hope). So the devs are holding back releases for roms until JB but CM and ASOP are all in development as we speak.

P.S - It is SOOO much easier to root and unlock this phone compared to our EVO 3D. Even a one click tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2039421

^^^ I agree with what you said. In fact ive seen this.on many phones. Most of the blame is on lg for releasing the phone half ass. And also there wasent enough marketing put into the phone quite honest. By no means this isnt a flagship phone. Just because its labled as one. True the specs are nice but the fact that released with bugs and with ICS is complete bullcrap and a let down for sure. Further its just the nature of this forum to have to many chiefs not enough indians type of deal. Best way to learn anything is just to read up learn a little bit and have a clear mind and confidence u wont mess up your phone hahaha?

Space, I don't have a wide berth of knowledge to give you, as this is only my 2nd Android smartphone. That said, the development here is severely lacking. There were a lot of hotshots promising things they couldn't deliver early on (like this phone is exactly the same as the Nexus 4, lol). They say all the action happens in IRC but log in there. Try it. Back yet? Didn't learn **** did you? No one talks about development there. It's like a business meeting about more meetings. They talk about what they need to be developing.
In the end, I'm not helping, so I can't really complain, but it's slightly frustrating to have a beast of a phone that no one is improving. Least of all LG. When I've attempted to get information I've been ignored or given the "we don't really know" SLASH "stfu kid" response. If you find good development news I'd love to see it.

Many of us work, I work full time and have kids. Plus I have several other projects. If you honestly think nothing is getting done, maybe you should check github. Look at the amount of work being done towards cm10.1 for the lgog.
Not all development is ROMs and themes. Most of it happens before you see those ROMs and mods. Sure I could copy paste a rom together on my phone and call it something. Then everyone would think it was so cool, but the fact is it wouldn't be much different then what we already have. Will I build a stock based rom? Yes. Kernels? Yes. Aosp ROMs, yes. Some fancy aroma kitchen sink mod. Yup. Will I be doing this all within a week of getting the device and doing my research on it? Nope. There are like 20 sensors on this phone. Not to mention a ton of testing on kernels, what's bloat, what's a proprietary driver/lib vs source built. You need to remember that all of the development is done in peoples spare time. The phone is fast so no rush making it
Faster. The software is decent and has some decent feature without a lot of annoying issues so no rush there. Battery could be improved but thats mostly usage based. Nothing is crippled on this phone so there isn't exactly a huge rush to fix something on it. That is a good thing. We can pace ourselves and get more creative instead of fixing crap that should work already.
The biggest issue is not being jb+. That is being worked on daily by many people. I plan on helping as well but I agree with most of the devs on waiting for the korean source drop.
Give this phone time and it'll be crawling with flashy things.

To add on to what Jokersax said, there is alot of development going on, but not as roms. CM10.1 technically works, but there is a bug that wont allow your to see anything on it. Would you like somebody to post it for you to test? We have to get a device tree going, and see what mods from other phones work here, and what we need to chance to get the different roms we build up and going. I am fairly new on the dev scene, but I am working on a rom ATM, just about to get out of the testing phase for my first public build (in the dev section). b-reezy is also working on porting MIUI, removing LG software to make it almost completely AOSP, and getting a few themes on our device, and helping me learn more as I go. We have alot of devs, but between real life events, and the time to make everything work it takes time. How long does a take big companies to get updates out that have dedicated developers? For LG it has been over a year to update one generation of android. Just be happy we can update it before that. Also if you sit enough on IRC you can find stuff (I found a flashable korean rom for our phone that boots, is english, but doesnt have 3g/4g/wifi working and such, so it is not posted here yet), but alot of it is people working in their free time, and all my talk about my work is either in my what do you want in my roms thread under Q&A, where there is already 3 test builds of my rom, and some of us are talking individually, like joker right above me, and b-reezy both talk to me daily on Gtalk the last several days to about 2 weeks for each one of them. And I cant remotely do anything as good as they can. Just wait a month or two then you will be spammed with roms and kernels to use. Try hitting up the Nook Tablet thread and see how development is going on there- I have had it over a year and there isnt even 2 dozen roms for it. It is all a matter on how locked the device is, and the drivers and such for the phone. Also we may be able to port stuff from the Nexus 4 BUT THIS IS NO WHERE NEAR THE SAME THING! We have a locked boatloader, the nexus doesnt (really big difference for dev work), plus GSM vs. CDMA radios is alot harder to dev for it seems like in the beginning. It is annoying how people complain about dev work not being fast enough yet they dont even remotely understand how any of it works. FYI we will probably have Jellybean on our device before LG releases it. 4.2 is the primary concern for the bigger devs right now. IF ANYBODY CANT FIND OUT THE LATEST DEVELOPMENT ON IRC JUST ASK, OR EMAIL OR GTALK ME AT [email protected] FOR MINE AND OTHER DEVS LATEST WORK. LET THEM WORK ON IT IN THEIR FREE TIME FOR FREE, AND I CAN ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS WHILE I AM AT SCHOOL OR WAITING FOR PRACTICE TO START. If you payed these devs then you complain, other than that STFU. There is alot of stuff that goes on that we cant account for ahead of time.
Jeeze people, devs do this stuff as a hobby. Who are we to ***** that they don't do it fast enough, as one who has no programming skills I'm just grateful to the guys who do the work to make a killer device even better. Am I itching for some CM goodness? Sure, but I can wait, this phone is awesome as is.

It's picking up really well. I truly love the beginning of development life for great phones. I also had the evo 3d and enjoyed it grow from cleanrom to jellybean 4.1.
I really don't mind not having cm10. I personally would rather have stock jb. This LG stuff isn't half bad. The only thing for me is I get easily bored. I like the super cool themed roms with pretty things. But, that being said, jelly bean came out like forever ago. We are on like 4.2.2. I am more upset with LG. It isn't like they didn't know it was coming.

Agreed. Pressure should be put on LG to update and release source. This is what we need to get more things rolling.
That being said, even though this software is only ICS, this is my first Android that I don't mind stock. I've run all the versions of ZV9 so far and stock deodex with some tweaks runs wonderfully. I'm coming from Touch wiz and Sense systems where they skin and change everything. I'll always be a Vanilla head, but I'm just as stoked to see what LG does with jellybean. This stock software isn't that far from AOSP really.
Also I don't see what the hoopla is about trying to port Nexus 4. This phone has way more potential than that.

If you didn't want ICS why'd you buy it? ICS runs perfect on this phone so far I'm glad there isn't much to fix. Remember the epic or the photon or the evo/evo3d those phones had issues this one has one wake lock and gets a little warm and the keyboard bug was fixed, by lg. I am grateful that this phone has little to no bugs and also that we have these skilled devs that are not only willing to tackle some of the issues to make this phone as perfect as possible but also that they're working at all to get cm or aosp on the device. Were not entitled to anything and like I said the phone already runs and looks great so we can be patient

are you serious with this rant??
The Point of BUYING A TOP OF THE LINE PHONE IS FOR THE LATEST UPDATES ON IT!! I BOUGHT IT ACTUALLY BASED ON THE PRESS SAYING IT WAS GOING TO RELEASE WITH Jellybean/or it would soon after which has been far from the truth.
YET IVE actually owned all those other phone that you mentioned as well. And yes eventually they received some nice DEV, all but the Photon which left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would never buy a MOTOROLA again!
That was all 3 years back respectively. Wouldn't you think a company would learn from past mistakes of other manufactures? Especially when they are "debuting" a "flagship device" Bottom Line - Its not smart.. You have you opinion, but no need to make an excuse for a companies bad decision. That is just Fact my friend....
Edit*
One last thing actually as a consumer we are entitled to timely updates by LG as Big as a company as they are to put the correct resources in the right places to ensure its consumers who pay for there premium product to have the most up to date software!! It would also make dev a hell of a lot easier too.
It has not been long yet so i have a little patience left..

As a consumer were entitled to a working phone that works out of the box. If lg figured they could make stable software with ice cream sandwich so be it. The phone runs great on it.

As Stated its simply not good for business* Fact*. This is the Gen section so all rants apply here, regardless of your personal opinions/feelings - Maybe you can state your opinion and try not to tell people what to THINK. LOL I guess you would also fall into my statement about "Chiefs & Indians"??
IT GOES UNSAID THAT THE DEVS DESERVE CREDIT (They work with what they're given) - no need to constantly push that on people, obviously the devs are in control. To many of them there is some Incentive that also goes unsaid or unheard too. But to each their own!!
Hopefully the JB update for the Korean version means good news for us too!! Cant Wait*** I know there will be some good dev!

And I'm glad you said you appreciate the devs work I just didn't wanna see the opposite and assumed you were being pushy because you said you agree with that guys post that sounded very demanding just cuz he couldn't see work done on irc.

Personally for me, I don't like ROM/Kernels or apps that don't get updated frequently. It bothers me and makes me think that the dev is lazy. Always on the go

That's pretty harsh don't you think? There's Roms made by teams that have many people working on same code while others may work alone and not have the time to build a ROM everyday. Not to mention they do this for free in their own spare time. And really post their work to share with others. Not to make others happy. But hey every one has their opinion I guess. Some people feel the devs are here only for them and feel the Dev must build to make them happy.

Not harsh at all. Its my own personal opinion because I LIKE to flash ROMs. I have ADHD when it comes to ROMs, I always want something new. I dont care if its the same ROM relabeled with a new date, I'll take it. Franco, one of the most popular kernel devs for the N4 pushes out updates to his kernel every other day while maintaining a full-time job. Its doable, I'm not saying every dev needs to follow his footsteps by any means. I just like flashing stuff.
Yes there are roms made by teams such as CM, AOKP, whatever it may be. All of those ROMs are open sourced and OTHER people kang their ROMs to release a unofficial nightly such as fitsnugly' jellybro and unofficial AOKP releases that are being pushed out on a day-to-day basis.
So no, I'm not being harsh at all. If no one tests the "unofficial nightlies" and tell the devs "hey man there are bugs in here, here and here" with logs. Then that would be a problem and would make it harder for them to release a stable build leading to a LONGER release of a stable release for users who dont want to flash something everyday.
My concept of 'lazy devs' still applies. Would you want to buy a app that hasn't been updated for months and months when there is another competing app that does the same thing that updates frequently? A such example is the famous, Falcon Pro twitter client. Why buy something else when this guy updates his apps all the time? It just means he is commited and really cares about his app.
Same thing when it comes to buying a phone. Do you want a phone by Samsung, LG, Motorola where the manufacturer takes AGES to update their phone? Heck no, that's why we got Nexus devices, so we get updates DIRECTLY from Google themselves. Is that being harsh to Samsung/Motorola/LG? No.
Thanks man!

Everyone has their opinion! Just think calling a dev lazy cause he didn't push updates every day so you can satisfy your ocd is retarded. And that's my opinion. There's a difference in pushing updates to improve something and pushing updates every day to satisfy people with ocd. But hey if that's how you feel good for you bud.
By the way you said you think devs that don't update their Roms or apps FREQUENTLY are lazy. Not months and months. So IDF course I'm not going to be happy with an app that hasn't been updated in months and months. But that's not what you said at first.
Just FYI nightly's are not for people to post bugs. They're exactly for people like you who like to flash every day. That's why you can not post about bugs using a nightly

I'm not calling a dev lazy because he doesn't push updates every day. I'm talking about devs who leave their works unmaintained and their projects abandoned (LauncherPro.... hello? bunch of people paid for his launcher and the project was left abandoned without any word from the developer). I don't care whether it is a ROM/Kernel/something I bought... I want whatever I'm using to be maintained. I used Rasbeanjelly and that ROM wasn't updated every other day. I like unofficial releases (kangs) of ROMs for particularly CyanogenMod & AOKP.
My point still stands, the majority of us on Nexus devices use Nexus devices for the device to be maintained by Google, not Samsung/LG/HTC/Motorola... because WE LIKE UPDATES AND NOT having to wait 6-7 months after a new Android release to be updated by the manufacturer without any promises that our device will get that particular update. So if I call HTC lazy for not updating all their phones to the newest reiteration of Sense you're going to be offended? No. All of us like update and a sense of being in good hands by having updates, same idea applies to operating systems. Windows.... if Microsoft never updated their OS then we'd have a lot of security problems. Antivirus? .... not updated very often with new virus definitions, you're not in good hands.
I'm not OCD. I just like to FLASH stuff and experiment with my phone. If you want to slam punches over the internet then PM me. Don't try and hijack the thread by trying to bash me because I simply like to flash ROMS/KERNELS/mods/themes on XDA. For some of us, it is a hobby. So if you are going to try and harass me over the internet because flashing stuff is a hobby of mines then you're pretty pathetic by starting a fight over the internet.
Nightlies aren't meant to be posted for bugs, but if they're visible, you go ahead and post them. Especially if its a critical bug, at the end of the day. Nightlies are like "free alpha testers" for your work. In most professional cases, you have to pay people to test your work. The more people "alpha / beta testing" your work ---> faster stable release for the people who want something that is stable. People do post bugs, its apart of the whole system of a nightly. You post on their bug reporter. Bug reports are accepted as long as it includes a sort of logcat, kmsg, etc. It varies on what ROM/kernel you're using.
There are different types of flashers on XDA: 1) Ones that want to flash things just for a stable phone 2) Ones that are the hardcore Android enthusiasts that ALWAYS want the newest and latest. 3) Ones who are just here that want to stay on stock and just come here for the conversation as it is a popular Android forum and do very minimal things to their phone (stock ROM, custom kernel). If you're going to bash a different flasher then you have some serious mental problems.
I don't understand why you're punching blows at me because I PERSONALLY like to flash stuff and don't like to stay on ROMS/KERNELS that rarely get updated. Keep at this and using offensive language and I'll end up ignoring you + reporting you on XDA for calling me a "retard." Not cool.

It varies on what ROM/kernel you're using.

what makes these "official", as opposed to the 03/04/2013 gapps that im flashing?
Does anyone know if there has been an inverted set of the new gapps released anywhere. I always keep my eye out for them and usually an update to an inverted app project pops up. I just have not seen one that is based on the new gapps yet (and they usually are pretty quick getting them inverted).

When using the new gapps zip along with cm10 m2 build , I keep getting doubles of photo frame and photo table under daydreams. Is this common for anyone else ? A Google didn't turn up what I was looking for.
