[THEME] Daybreak v1.2 [DeWizzed, Warfare, Juggs5] *Center Clock Juggs Update* 2.20

Hello, my name is Phoenix6, but you can call me Jon. I've been a member for almost 2 years now, but have never posted. I am a graphic deisnger by profession and I've decided I wanted to give back to the community and so I created this theme.
A few things I want to point out first...
This theme is for DeWizzed 2.5.1 & Up (Until 3.0 comes out), Digital Warfare (Up to 2.2a, waiting on 2.3 confirmation) and Juggs 5.0
Everything is from 100% Scratch, the only thing that may look familiar is the loading spinner, my inspiration for that was the Crysis battery mod
I am very busy and have very little time to be on here, update, port, etc, but I will try to answer questions when I am able to, which again, may not be often. You may ask for anything you want added, but if I don't have the time, I apologize for not being able to deliver.
This theme and all of my work in it, is OPEN SOURCE, FREE TO EVERYONE, please kang kang kang if you WANT to, but all I ask is a tiny bit of credit in return, I did work VERY hard on this, learning how to do all of the changes I've made, etc.
I've changed the battery, connection icons, wifi, loading spinner, and much more, but there is still some things to be done, and you may notice them throughout your experience with this theme.

Back in the day (couple years ago anyways) clock color used to be in services.jar.
Look here. Not sure if it's still there or not but worth a look?

Clock color how-to has been sent to you via PM... Per your request via PM... =)...
If anyone wants to try it for themselves... Here is how...
Decompile framework-res.apk... Then go to framework-res\res\values and find the "colors" xml. Open it (duh) and scroll to the bottom of the xml... Find:
<color name="status_bar_clock_text">#ffbebebe</color>
Change to whatever hex you want (ffe03d00 should be close to the orange)... Save... Compile... Then its look at my clock color change yay time! =)
Clearly my notes are for those that know how to use apktool/apkmanager...

The signal bar has a shadow. Is it meant to be like that? Other than that..Its working fine so far on tdj's digital anarky ROM.thanks!

Change the clock color to that orange n. The battery to have % in it n I flash... So sexy thanks bro... Ima speak for myself but I love % of the battery on my status bar... Can't wait to see what ur goin to bring in the future n. I'm happy to see u part of the team

Alexia - I actually did change that, didn't work :/ if you want to tear down the files and look maybe I missed something?
As for the signal bars, they aren't your usual bars, they are 4 vertical bars, all same width. It's not a shadow, there's a shade of white over them to give a glassy look, I was trying it out and I liked it, instead of climbing bars. Thanks for all the feedback!

If possible, when you have time, port to Thursdays rom so the clock stays in the middle. No biggie, when and if you have time.

Its made from dewizzed, I flashed on Thursdays rom and all's good except the clocks not in the middle anymore. Backup and flash,if it works post success and if not restore. No biggie

Here you have my first official ROM for the Galaxy Nexus. Let me first say that this rom was made 80% for me and 20% for you, so please don't ask for drastic/ridiculous changes. It is intended to be closer to stock, but with minimalistic themeing and just the right amount of tweaks (IMO). All included system/Gapps have been inverted, thanks to Travp624 (find him on Twitter @travp624), and they look fantastic. Almost all of the "holo" theme has been removed and replaced with white/black. It is based off of Peter Alfonso's 2/6 Bugless Beast nightly which includes 4.0.4 proprietaries. I have been using it for some time now and really love it, I hope you enjoy it too!
Normal disclaimer about how flashing a rom can be dangerous for your phone and such. Please always perform a backup before flashing any of my work (or anything really). If you some how mess up your phone it's your fault, not mine. You are not allowed to sue me, all you'd get would be student loans anyways.​

Thanks a lot for your rom. Works good so far. I've noticed the speaker kinda gets hot when having a phone call. Hmmm don't remember having that issue before. Anyone else? Anyway can u please use the ics cyan color for the notification bar icons ? Or a zip for others like me that love that color . Thanks again bro. Coffee or a beer on ur way soon

As pictured above, the settings menu also has the holo theme removed and uses the standard black as with all the other apps.

Hmm, not sure I have noticed this and I have no idea what would be causing that if it is in fact different from other roms. Yup, I can put together a zip with the stock status bar icons. Do you also want the notification pulldown to be stock colored as well or just the status bar icons? And my 21st is on Monday, so let's make it a beer

rom looks great, im waiting for the market fix before i install. i just have a few questions. does the battery icon have setting like in gummy where you can add the battery with percentage or change to circle battery or the blue bar if not that would be great to have because people have different preferences. also are the phone,people, and messaging themed black? post a pic please. also is there a way to change the bottom buttons? thanks in advance for listening.

It does not have the different battery settings sorry, just the flashable for the MIUI battery. Yes, all system/Gapps (excluding Talk, which is being a little ***** haha) have been themed dark. You can find screenshots of them HERE with some very minor changes to 1-2 of them. This is the guy I worked with to get them in the rom.
Yes, changing the navigation bar icons is very easy. But since I'm sure there will be plenty of people who want them changed and I can't take the time to do them each individually, I will probably just post a tutorial for those who would like to do so.

Here are some custom mods for my USMC brothers and sisters (and anyone that would like them) Download all four zips,,, flash the systemui zip first in CWM, then the other three in zip themer and then in CWM. Once all that is done you should have a 1% Eagle Globe and Anchor battery, Eagle Globe and Anchor lockscreen,home button and Eagle Globe and Anchor navbar softkey glow. The fifth zip is a systemui mod for Rootz Boat style roms that have a dual screen reboot/recovery. PLease make a nandroid back up before doing anything. Pics are on photbucket, hope you enjoy!

Dude I know XDA's rules are against using work of others before asking , but seriously, it's one icon...
He could have found it ANYWHERE on the web, just because you want everyone to credit your work,
doesn't mean they actually will... some people just get your icon , reupload it somewhere else, and they don't care about what you say.
No need to go all ballistic... and he did credit a lot of people for bigger things, why would he use your icon without doing the same...
I'm just saying.
On a side note, your icon is nothing special , I've seen it ages before you made your theme ( which is nice btw ), anyone can PS that.

I didn't go ballistic I said one statement and it wasn't in ALL CAPS RAGE.
I've not see. That icon and having the play store renamed to the market together anywhere... other than my theme.

Since you say you are new to this, i'm going to tell you, you did a fantastic JOB!! The theme is similar to many others, but has some nice touches. Did you get email working yet? Also, is contacts truly inverted? No one else seems to have that.

But....my "People" FCs now...and the Bluetooth and alarm clock might be just skosh (which is 3/4 of a "tad") dark on my phone...

Totally uncalled for the thread had been wiped clean of the bs till....well you...just saying ubers the man and then again who wouldn't be mad if some thing was taken without permission so I'm on team #uber

Would really like the email app to be inverted/blue/themed, whatever!

I dont want to break this out to a he said she said war,,,nothing was taken from anyone. I found a market from another site in another theme and liked if,,,that person gave me the go ahead to use it,,,well come to find out it wasn't really his. So in all fairness to another themers hard work I took it out, what's right is right. Such is the android community, we have to uphold the integrity of it or well wind up like apple fanboys HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Now that should put an end to that,,,let's move on and get some good feedback please,,,I am all about learning!

[CHROMIUM THEME CHOOSER] Jellybean 4.1/4.2

This is my first theme chooser theme, so
please be kind. It is inspired by Google's Chrome OS. Its a work in progress, but I'm confident that the theme base is pretty solid. Future releases will include theming of app icons & fixing any stray WOW & BOB text that may occur.
This theme is xhdpi only at this stage, but hdpi support may be added in future releases.
Any and all input is welcome. This theme may take a while before I consider it complete, but with constructive criticism, we can work towards something really slick & clean & characteristic of Chrome's beautiful UI.
Working on cm10/10.1AOKP JB, bamf, xenonHD, etc.
NOTE: PA per app color settings will mess up this theme A LOT. Its not a problem with the theme, but pa's settings overlaying over the theme resources. Please, no complaints about this as there is nothing I can do, but pa needs to sort out what takes priority.
*NOTE: I have decided not to try & incorporate ics theming into this theme as it becomes too much work to test & lays up my phone in an unusable state while doing so. Sorry.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Download & install Chromium from the link below.
2.Go to settings/themes.
3.Apply Chromium theme.
-If you get an error about 'missing assets for your screen size', click 'apply anyway'
- If you get an error saying 'this theme was incorrectly compiled', apply the system theme, reboot then apply Chromium theme.
4.Reboot.

Great job man. Coincidentally, that's the same home icon I came up with and was gonna show u but figured I'd see wat u came up with first Lol.
Still seeing the occasional wow & bob but I know you're aware of them n working to fix in next updates.

I like the theme, good job, I can wait to see what the theme is going to look like when its finished, this one looks better than the one you posted in the other thread. Keep up the good work

Hey Stumpy I been silently stalking your progress in the other thread and i must say your doing a Good Job. I really believe that you will pull this off, you have motivation and enthusiasm. Keep up the great work, one question though is this for CM9 or CM10 theme chooser?

Should work on both. Although I haven't got around yo theming rom specific thngs like cm& aokp toggles, rom control etc. Also you may not get the grey navbar on cm9. Not sure. Try & see.

Tried it, it looks good actually ! There are still few problems but not much in my opinion =) (on CM10)
For example :
The Cyanogen icons aren't themed (but you are a BAMF user if I remember correctly =) )
Here the power widget isn't themed and hard to see =) (by the way, too bad you didn't keep the blue color on notifications, but that's just my opinion =) )
(Nova Launcher) The text on the top is hard to see (the colors are themed by me)
The IME notification isn't themed
The last one I promise ! ^^ The text on the popup is hard to see

Edit : just seen your message above mine, so don't consider the CM10 specific problems =)

I used a base for cm10, but i'd love to here how it works for cm9 users before you go adding it. Just in case.

This is a Port from my Original Creation for the Sprint S2
This has had great such great success with the Original and the 2 other phones I've ported it to that since so many of my fellow S2 user have moved on to this phone I figured I would share here too. First off I have to thank all the hard working creative mind here on XDA! I especially have to thank Tdunham for his contribution to keeping the E4GT alive and kicking! Without his AIO mods my mod wouldn't exist! I am very new to this so go easy on me. I will be adding and updating this. Now to what this mod offers;
It is meant to work with TD's AIO mods, or without if you choose. I absolutely love the control his mod, along with the 3minit mod by Gharrington, give you to customize your Theme. The one thing to that always looked incomplete to me was the 4G icon always stayed the same? That's where The Missing Link comes in. Then I just got a little carried away, with more, much more to come

Thank u for the work you did on the first version and I look forward to your input on this next one! Unfortunately I'm having some issues with dev-host right now. I have uploaded the file 3 times and it will finish 100% then dissappear, no where to be found. Going to keep trying.

Beta v2 read for play!!
Now remember this is still in Beta for the S3. Make a NANDROID BACKUP just in case!!! I did get a brief 5 minute test with a friends S3. It was running an older version Android 4.1.1 I believe. I only was able to get one flash in and had about 90% success rate with the options I picked. The main miss for me was still the dialer options? It could be the older OS or I'm just missing something? But I am pleased with most of that initial test. The boot Animations do work, but in the transfer somewhere I mixed up the files. So the boot animations that play are not really named correctly, minor issue. I think that some of the signalbars may or may not play. I picked Teal and it worked fine. Let me know people and let's make this thing BIG

VERY nice, Stang! Nothing on the dialer, as you said. No changes on the pulldown bar, toggles, battery, or signal icons. If the Blur transition animation does anything I'm missing it - could just be subtle and I'm expecting something flashy.
Is your friend's S3 on TW? Maybe AOSP doesn't like some of these changes.

OK, so for now the best results are definitely going to be with Touch Wiz roms. I had a few more minutes with my buddies phone running older JB 4.1.2 and I had great success! Acid Blue Dialer BG worked for what I could see. The signal bar Teal and FtW worked fine. All the data arrows and icons worked. Base themes and pretty much anything frameworks worked. Sliders, toggles, and lock screen mods didn't stuck. Boot and shut down ani's both worked. What is it that people are running, TW, that needs to be compatible? Is pretty much the majority running 4.3 now? I am trying to get this going for you guys. Haven't heard to much from anyone accept genesius01,Thank you BTW. Tell me what Roms you guys are running or better yet, supply me with systemUI.apk, SecPhone.apk, SecContact, SecSettings, SecMMS, and framework-res.apk's and I can make a "Flashback" zip file for tthat fresh start of just in case something doesn't go right?

I just got my S3 back, downloading now. But what would probably help you most is to check out the Morphology portion of this ROM-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572102... it is truly an amazing creation

Switched my phone to Wicked Sensations ROM which is TW, Android 4.3. Getting great results from Missing Link, everything I've tried so far has worked.
