Yes,you can say screen recording.
But isn't screen recording meant for drawing and S pen features only ?
Or can we record "videos" also with screen recording ?
By the way my software version is XXALJ3 but I dont know where this "screen recording" is ?
screen recordin on S Pen isnt a new feature. it was present on Note I before...
that wasnt what they advertised. they advertised full screen recording, which we find that is not actually in the device.
we will hpwever be getting it (MAYBE) as some people e-mailed Samsung and got the reply that it will not be present in future builds...

Enable Active / Native Call Recording

Hi,
After replacing my LG G3 with the new Nexus 5X I was surprised to find out I can't use my call recording app anymore.
The company said that Native Call Recording is locked on Nexus devices - So no recording apps can work.
Is there a solution for that?
Thanks!

I've never seen a Nexus device with native call recording. The only way I've gotten 2-way call recording to work is using Call Recorder

As I said - My app does not work.
The call recording app company said that it will not work on the nexus device. Meaning no other app will work as well.

The app I linked to requires root to record from the line on devices where the functionality is otherwise unavailable. That is why it works where other recording apps (i.e., non-root apps) do not work.

Ok. I got you.... Appreciate it.
I will read about "root" on the web to better understand what to do now.

Lineage OS recording app

Where does LineageOS recording app saves files?
Sent from my Nexus 5 CAF using Tapatalk
Good question.
For sound records: internal sd>music>soundrecords
For screen records: internal sd>movies>screenrecords
I'm using lineage os 14.1 on ze551ml, when i try to use screen recording after the recording the video can't play even in vlc player.

I see. By "internal", I thought you meant "included".
The recorder freezes while recording
Does anybody know plans for file formats or reasons for choosing .wav? I think .ogg / .mp3 is better than .wav.
Hi guys,
I am running LineageOS 14.1 on oneplus one. I'm not able to find the native screen recording app which used to be in the status bar dropdown menu. Nor able to find in the settings anywhere.
Could anyone please let me know where I can find the screen recording app??
Many thanks in advance,
Regards,
Ranga

Sound and Video is done with the same app -- Recorder.
Learned tonight if you long press on the screenshot tile, it will start video recording. (Using xposed module GravityBox[N], not sure if it is applicable without that module.)
Also was not aware that the recorder app also did video.

Screen Recorder - Record the video clip that plays inside the app

I tried with both adb screenrecord and 3rd party screen recorder app. It can record screen but whenever video appears on the screen. It show that area as blank screen.
Is that possible to custom rom to record video too? or is there anyother solution to record video too?
I am having the same problem on the OnePlus 5.. I'm curious did you just upgrade to the new open beta? I am asking because I just upgraded and now I can't find a screen recorder that works where before the update I was able to screen record fine.

I have DU Recorder app and it works everywhere. Give that a try cuz I just tested it before replying to you and it works with videos. But the mic records the ambient noises too so be careful if you're trying to record something cuz it will record even your breathing hahaha
No its not working. Just now i tried.
Thanks for the info.

Why are you even using the game launcher screen recorder? In android 10 there's a native screen recorder which records everything.
