Warning I am not Responsible if you brick your device, You have Chosen to flash a Rom at your own Risk
I have found myself with time to kill (I have no job) So I found a Stock 2.3 Gingerbread Rom and I have done a few things to it:
Updated SU
Added Spare Parts (lite)
Added Taskiller (free)
Removed WiFi Calling (for battery life reasons)
Added Google +
Updated Market... Not to the new google play yet. (waiting on stable version)
Removed extra Apks to Lighten The Rom
Added Launcher Pro
I have also Done a little .png Editing including
Spent some time inside framework folder
Changed Mms icon and notification icon
Changed Phone.apk Icon
Added Custom Bootanimation and Custom Wallpapers
TrackPad Wake Zip Available
Supercharger Script Available
Changed Lockscreen Clock Font
Tpwake.zip is flashable
V6 SuperCharger is .pdf (it still works in this format)
DO NOT USE THESE UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW
I usually use Script Manager.apk to install the V6 Supercharger, Do not set it to run on boot, but you will need SU permission.
**Please do a back up and full wipe before installing**just to be safe
To install OverFlash you need to already have Stock V1.3 installed
Stock V1.3: >>Download Link<<
OverFlash V1.3: >>Download Link<<
Wallpapers are included in Rom, but here is a zip with them in it.
Download Wallpapers
This is not Some amazing new rom I just felt like there might be some people out there who still enjoy the gingerbread roms and might like this.
I will be loading a new Youtube video with V1.3 and OverFlash installed.

Theme Your Own Rom

it look so cool ,thank you very much !

Nice, will look into this.
Quick question, is it me or is the pull down bar themed and stuff?
Haven't seen a stock gingerbread rom themed like a cm7.

Sent from my Rooted G2 using XDA

What android version is this is it just 2.3 or is it the latest release 2.3.7
Sent from my Rooted G2 using xda premium

Just 2.3, if I get a hold of a later rlease I will switch it all over, tomorrow I was planning on releasing the wallpaper and switching the font in the rom
Sent from my Rooted G2 using XDA

Ok new 2.3.4 Version is up, added the default WP to original post, Rom now has TP_Wake built into it no need to flash zip, but I will keep zip up for anyone who needs it. Enjoy the hard work guys spent 5 straight hours this morning working in it.

You might want to rename this thread to something like:
[ROM][DATE-OF-UPDATE] k2c's Blue_Ginger [Version #]
Makes it more easy to keep track of your ROM

If you liked the original theme Check out the V1.3 Theme. It is a flashable theme that you load directly over V1.2, If you do not have V1.2 the you need to download it, install it and flash the new theme over it.

I'm really loving this rom, super fast and responsive. The whether is a problem, I have to manually put in the city rather than the app knowing where I am using wifi or data you think you could sort that out?
Awesome work, hope for more updates on this excellent rom, my daily rom

Wallpapers are loaded into a .zip and waiting for your download. As for the security setting, there is a location and security section. It is the 6th option in your settings panel. The final issue was the weather location, that is my fault, gps location will not work unless google maps is installed, will have it updated today.

[Q] Standard Androind UI?

I really like the standard UI (because I'm boring and like plain n simple things)
Any help would be most epic!
I have too only simple wish. I want only green icons, fonts etc and nothing else.
Have you not tried running Darkyy's ROM? This is what I use and I have all green ICONS but it's all black everything else, I like the simpleness of the standard UI. I guess I've got to start wishing XD
Check the theme list in my sig, as far as i know there's nothing thats exactly as you've posted the screenshot - but you might find something you like even more.
Other than that, try cooking a rom in the romkitchen with just the aosp theme.
Just download Gingerbread Launcher from the market (free one) simples.
I'm already using this, what I want is a white theme like the stock UI
Sign me up aswell.. all the themes are packed with custom batteries, wierd icons and changes every day.. standard google would be nice for a change..

this is a random vid I just found on youtube.
shows the animations and effects. But i used none of the theme work shown in the vid.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqW36XEhLtI
Also I cant publish my work as it has stuff from other people in so wouldn't be right.
To start with I am no developer I just learnt bits from owning a HTC DREAM and have used a bit of that knowledge getting my galaxy s more AOSP ( hate the dark gingerbread look)
This is a framework push method as i used ADB but no understanding of how to make an update.zip file.
Okay i have modified this the framework-res file from my deodexed JPY rom.
Known problem with my "theme"
Notification bar text is still white ( date and clock)
I have asked on the vibrant ( as they rock on themes) forum and on the i9000 for someone to change my service.jar file so the text is black but no luck yet.
to push the framework you need to do this.
put the framework-res.apk into your tools folder in the sdk
then in cmd
adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework/
also I have changed the message application to have the AOSP notifcation bubble as it is clearer to see on white background.
to push this you need.
adb push Mms.apk /system/app/
if you find anymore AOSP things or think of things that need to be changed let me know.
But this will only get support that I put onto my phone ( not a proper dev)
if you get annoyed at having a white clock in notification bar like I did you can use this to remove the clock.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=910191
hope you enjoy using it.

whats the difference between this rom and bandroidx?
This is not a rom yet... bandroidx is an update zip that changes the rom... it is not a flashable rom.. this one will be a flashable rom using recovery so I don't have to sbf when I want to go back when trying cm7 out.. and its good to have for pulling files from if needed for porting..
Quick answer is it won't be much different. Maybe a little faster and will come rooted. And have recovery already installed.

Quadrant
Hi rdannar -- I'm really hoping that with you working on the Bravo my wife will stop complaining about her phone. Wondering about that quadrant score over 2k, though... Is that legit, or is it using the same I/O slight of hand that some ROM devs were using on the Sony X10?
Thanks for your work on this!
-jimbothigpen
No. Alot of the score is from changing GUI in build prop. Overcloxking. And using SD card app to change read access to 3072

Its legit. I didn't use the quadrant score tricks that you can do.
You can do the same thing to your phone by using root explorer or TB to uninstall apps then just replace with my build.prop. (actually recommend this over flashing). Then you can keep and get rid of what you want...

Yeah i just noticed that too, that's the one i flashed. It looks nice otherwise but it is a bit buggy, the background flickers from being dimmed to not being dimmed each time an app is closed (by swiping it away) and each time it gets to the last app, it leaves a black rectangle on the right side of the screen.
Could you provide the .zip to remove this mod? I'll try it again later once it's more stable , it's a cool idea though. Ice Cold Sandwich has it too but it looks slightly different.

it doesnt need gaaps because its a sense rom not AOSP rom
So it's included in the ROM itself then? This works on rooted devices right? Sorry, never installed a sense rom lol went straight to CM after rooting

[THEMED STOCK APPS][Snote][Calendar][QuickNote][v2.0][07/26/13]

Hey everyone! I've LONG hated the horrible brown colors that Samsung chose for the Snote app, QuickNote (popup note), and Calendar app. They clash miserably with everything and are really just unattractive to use, IMHO. To that end, I decided to dive into theming these mutha's! I've put mucho hours into trial and error and working the kinks out and am pretty much happy with them as they are now. That being said, I very well may still tinker with them or certainly try to fix anything that I may have missed...hence v1.0 :silly:
I've opted for a pretty basic greyscale base and threw just dabs of color in here and there, but nothing overdone, still 90+% greyscale. For what its worth, VRtheme technique is used with these so you must have the apk's already installed, as it will not install them for you.
NOTE: Jedi X users...I believe your ROM uses the International version as it's base, so you will likely have to flash the version I made for International users: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2369221
Special Thanks:
Alexia- General theming instruction and for teaching me VRtheme technique, help with compile errors!
Dwitherell- General theming advice and kick-ass ROM and VRTheme script to create uninstaller!

It's an option in TSM Parts on Tweaked v2.3 ROM. Not sure what ROM your running, or if its possible on any other TW ROM.

Make sure your MD5 checks out...could be a bad download. If it does check out...make sure your recovery is up to date. I only tested on TWRP,and it flashes w/o any glitches there.

Weird...force closing the app, clearing its data/cache. If that doesn't work...try rebooting to recovery reflashing, and maybe try fixing permissions.
OP updated. New version: Includes Calendar widget for those of you using TW Launcher Also, thanks to Dwitherell, now installer will create an UN-installer that when flashed, will restore the previous version of the modded APK's.
Special tx to Alexia for her continued help, hand-holding and patience with helping me learn this stuff!

The problem is probably that Jedi 16X uses the international BASE, not T-Mobile stock. You'll need to use the one I made for that base:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2369221
NOTE: You'll have to probably restore the original versions of the Snote APK minimally, if not all four APKs that this mods. If you don't have a Nandroid backup to restore, you can either extract the apks from the Jedi X16 ROM and manually push them to the system/app folder, wipe caches and reboot...or dirty flash Jedi X16. Either way...get the apk's restored to their base versions for that ROM. THEN flash my themed apks in the thread that I linked above.
Should be good to go then. I'll update the OP to remind Jedi X users that they are INTERNATIONAL base and need to use that version as opposed to this one.
