Hi all my question to anyone here is i have a xperia play 800at its unlocked and rooted ok i just got a gophone plan for it and no internet i mean i thought it would run at least the 2g edge network but not at all grrrr if anyone has a solution that would be great ive tried all the apns i can think of so grrr help lol

I have a tmobile dash sim unlocked and using at&t. At&t advised the internet would not work on my phone as it was. Does anyone know the settings or how to get the service to work. Thanks in advance

Wassup everyone been doing some research on the apn setting's on my Sony Xperia Ion LTE 4G , I myself are on a prepaid At&t plan and can't change to LTE data so been changing around and playing with different APN setting's , so far i have managed to get the text messageing to work and sometimes i can recieve a pic message's , but have had no luck sending many pic's it take's forever , lol , but anyway , I'm gonna keep searching but if anyone know's a good non LTE APN that might work , please feel free to post it here. Thank's guy's XDA has alway's came thru for me and you guy's rock , thank's for all the hours of hard work it is greatly appreciated..
Oh , I currently am useing the AT&T wap.cingular APN setting Text is working and call's just not doing so well on Picture Messages..

I have a sony xperia ion lte and I have had it for a few days but the data on the phone isn't working at all but the txts and calls work perfectly. Any clue... the sim I am using came from an iphone 4. I really need help thanks.

The ion is a lte data phone if you are on a att plan simply call and have your data plan switched to lte if I'm not mistaken I believe the iPhone workson a totally different data also. I also check your APN settings should show pta on there. You can also add a APN from up above for a temporary fix. The att us and the att us MMS APN from above.
i purchased unlocked XPERIA ARC S Lt 18 i on eBay; every thing is fine except 3G. it is not showing 3G , i tried same sim in other phone there no problem with 3G. i checked settings, even updated firmware, but no use. is it hardware problem or unlocking problem , i live in hyderabad, india. kindly help.

Make sure you have the right APN for you carrier. If you don't know what this is a simple google search will guide your way. Good luck :fingers-crossed:

Hey guys i bought a used note 3 off my buddy and unlocked it. Its originally an at&t phone but now im using tmobile sim card. making calls and wifi work but when i turn the wifi off i have no internet. Ive done a factory reset and still nothing.. can someone pls help

Perhaps you simply ran out of data with whatever plan you have on Tmobile.
Or perhaps you should call Tmobile and ask them why you have no data.
You need data to get internet without wifi.
What ever the problem is, it has nothing to
do with the fact that the phone is unlocked.
Set up apns? Stock they will only have att apn you'll need to manually add tmobile and select it

i have just bought unlocked verizon z play to use with docomo carrier in japan. because of lte bands are difference, i cannot use lte network. so i used 3g,4g fix app on play-store trying to access lte network. afer trying change network type and lte bands, my phone now cannot find out any docomo service, its just no service. when i search service manually, the phone find out softbank and y-mobile service but no docomo service. whats problem with my phone? any ideas?
is there any way to use lte network in japan?

after trying alot of method, i can fix my z play at last. just simply insert orignial verizon sim card, wait for about 5 minutes, my z play said [ activing phone, dont turn off] , then turn off, insert docomo sim, oppp! no service error disappear ! can make call, send messenger and access 3g network with no problem. i dont know the reason, but hope this can help anyone get same trouble.
ps: will pay for anyone who can root the crazy verizon z play. i want to unlock lte band to use 4g network in japan.
