i searching for the Generic German Fw for the Xperia Arc S.I need the 4.0.2.A.0.58 or the 4.0.2.A.0.42 .it must be possible to root the Firmware.

Hello, this is my first thread in xda developers so please forgive my mistakes.
Ok, so I wanted to root my xperia play. I tried zergrush doesnt work (cant copy file superuser.apk) , superoneclick doesnt work (stuck on "waiting for device") , flashtool doesnt work (stuck on "waiting for device").
can someone please help me root my xperia play?

You can't use zergrush method on 4.0.2.A.0.62 , just until 4.0.2.A.0.58 version.
maybe flash 4.0.2.A.0.58 firmware with flashtool, i got that one because is easier to root, and safer.

My firmware is unbranded germany ... But because I was bored to wait for Android 4.3 I installed the firmware via flashtool 10.4.B.0.569 Baltic. Given that output already 10.4.1.B.0.101 germany I would like the file so the FTF via flashtool install and carry everything as it was ... I hope qulcuno can help me?

I am on my way to create and upload the ftf. I have only 6mbit upload so it takes some time.

Hey there mates, I have a question about this phone, first of all, I want to clean the phone of all the operator applications and stuff that It has when the phone is new but I don't know if I can use the latest flashtool with a generic ftf. I bricked the C5 ultra with the flashtool and I'm afraid to brick this one too. Can somebody please answer my question? Please... If anyone has a generic ftf can help me with that too?
