[Bootanimation] LightFlow [Update: March.26.12] - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

Forked over from AndroidForums.com
All credit goes to TheRoosevelt
I just provide for our MDPI device by resizing.
Should work with any MDPI device
Just flash in Recovery
It is landscaped though. If it's vertical, like below, it'll look bad
Obligatory "I take no responsibility for any damage to your phone" but there's a 99.99% chance that everything will be fine

Ohhhh that's why! You're running cm9 and the bootanimation file in the zip is for stock and cm7! Just extract the zip and copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media or /data/local

Actually, no custom bootanimation works on cm9. Tried to push 2 different bootanimation.zips into system/media and only get black screen on boot.

I love the blue version!
Is there anyway to make it move faster back and forth across the screen?
Thanks for your hard work!!

Yup the one and only
Anychance you could extract it? I'm away from my proper setup for a while.
Simply unyaffs it.
But i don't suggest you to do that cause it suck.
It shows default gingerbread launcher, and default lockscreen, and touchscreen doesn't work.
I managed to get touchcscreen and screen off working, but can't understand where is honeycomb launcher...
That's actually what I wanted to check. Seems they have foregone updating the regular screen layouts. =/
They honeycomb launcher is in the XLarge folders of launcher2.
Seems there's still holding some stuff for AOSP. The HC gallery isn't there either.

{Theme}(10.7.11) Gingerbread 1.0

*Im not responsible..well for anything that happens to your phone*
Here is a theme based off gingerbread aosp. Its nothing too elaborate as I only themed systemui.apk, framework-res.apk, com.htc.resources.apk, and pcscII.apk...but it looks nice imo
Disclaimer: The theme is built for and intended to be used on tsm gingerbangvanilla 2.5...however...it does work on tsm gingerbangsense 2.0.1 and will also work with the sense 3 patch (will remove sense 3 usb connect however)...im fairly certain it will also work with rmk's gingersense...but i havent tested it so i cant guarantee it.
*If you are using a rom with htc lockscreen in it, then obviously you will not see the themed aosp lockscreen as shown in pictures
*tsm launcher2 is shown in the screenshot...in launcher settings, change icons to gingerbread and dockbackground to gingerbread to complete look

looks good so far man. did a fresh install. couple things i've noticed (you may have done this intentionally) are when connected to wifi bars are white. sms notifications are froyo black, not grey. this is all with the GB theme. fast as ever and no issues on initial set up. thanks for the work
Awesome. Hopefully 1.1 will have a sexier lockscreen. Will work for now though. Good work man

Presenting:
A Unofficial Cyanogen(mod) 9 Boot Animation!
This boot animation is meant to be an homage to my favorite ROM. When I saw what was to be the new boot animation for cyanogen(mod) 9 I was somewhat disappointed (and I know that I was not the only one). So I decided to take an afternoon to create my own boot animation.
THIS IS INTENDED FOR PHONES WITH A SCREEN RESOLUTION OF 480x800!
For anyone who does not know, this is how you install a boot animation. This is using the Root Explorer method. I believe a free alternative is called Root Browser:
Browse to /system/media and backup bootanimation.zip to a safe location
Rename this boot animation to bootanimation.zip
Place the new bootanimation.zip on your SD card
Navigate to where you saved the new bootanimation.zip and copy it
Browse to /system/media and paste the new bootanimation.zip replacing the old one
Here are some images until I can get a video in here:
Render time: 0:50:41
Mirrors:
MediaFire
If you like my work please hit the THANKS button.
Thanks to:
-Cyanogen(mod) team for their great rom
-despotovski01 for his Boot Animation Creator
If any one could make a YouTube video of this animation in action, I would love to give you credit.
This is really cool thanks for sharing

[THEME] [MOD] statusbar mods, change your 3g and signal bars

i made this after not being able to change my "3g" or "signal bar" icons on UKB X.
Credit to nitsuj17 for allowing me to post this and share with you guys and for making this *****in rom.
*this mod should work with any variation of UKB (v, x, or UKBii) but dont quote me on that as this is my first attempt at modding anything and putting it out for the masses to enjoy.
#I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU MESS UP, BRICK OR RENDER YOUR PHONE USELESS.#
this is just a modded version of systemui.apk this is NOT to be flashed in recovery so if you follow instructions you should have no problem.
*WHAT YOU NEED*
1. rooted phone
2. file manager (i prefer es file manager)
3. UKB rom
*INSTRUCTIONS*
first make a nand backup-just in case
download file at bottom of page
open file manager and locate the folder where the file was downloaded to
make sure file is named "systemui.apk"-this is important
copy or cut file-your choice
navigate to "system/app/systemui.apk in your file manager
rename existing file to systemui.bak-that way if you dont like it you can go back to how it was
paste copied/cut file to system/app/
reboot and enjoy
https://www.dropbox.com/s/t5cj91pr5ymyljj/SystemUI.apk
*this is still a WIP i still need to find a battery icon to go with the current theme ive got going as soon as i find one i will update

[MOD][BOOTANIMATION] Fixed Google edition bootanimation

Okay, the stock google bootanimation was really bugging me because the pattern does not do a full 360-degree rotation. so, i fixed it. see preview below:
old version:

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
my fixed version:
if you can't see the difference, you don't have OCD about little details like i do
see attachments for download.
bootanimation.zip is just the boot animation file if you want to push it to your system partition manually.
google_bootanim_fixed_flashable.zip is flashable via TWRP or CWM.
enjoy!
Before it worked on 4.3, but now on 4.4 don't work. Fix it, please
Ha, now that someone else brought it up, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that with the stock animation. Nice job.

Thank You! That bugged the hell out of me.
Great Job
I didn't even notice it until I saw this post, now I have to make sure it's fixed! lol
Although I have noticed that every third "blink" the animation freezes for a second or two. I'm running Shiny ROM 4.4 (KK4.4.2).
It's not working on 4.4 slimkat.
Since I think it might work on other ROM's, so nice job.
Thanks a lot. So simple but so nice

Thanks alot for this but it freezes a couple of times on every boot. What could be causing this?
