Update (1/04/2012) - I've added a download link for original theme for those people who dont like ICS theme
Update (23/03/2012) - Call screen bugs fixed. Reverted call screen to original look for now. Call screen will be themed in future releases.
Hey guys, after so much user demand, I've finally created a ICS theme for DDKQ8 ROMs.
You can flash this theme on any de-odexed DDKQ8 ROM. (Like StockLite, Bald Eagle etc.)

Instructions -
1) Download the zip file and place it your sd card
2) Boot into recovery mode (make sure you have CWM 5 installed)
3) Mount /system
4) Select 'install zip from sd card' -> 'Choose zip from sd card'
5) Navigate to the theme and select it.
6) Reboot
NOTE - Initial release, may have some minor bugs or visual artifacts.

Where should we choose the theme? I installed zip, and after I could selecet reboot now. After reboot the ICS theme started, and it is very good, but if once i would like to change back, where do I have to search for theme chooser?
While speaking with somebody, the call monitor has a bug.

Installed theme.Yes the call monitor has the bug.Tj_droid , please check.
The buttons are another strange thing. It is a little bit too gray. Seems like a non active button. This is only my opinion.
Someone fix the bug???

copy to System/Apps => phone.apk original(you will find in the zip of the rom) ,replace, set permissions to rw-r--r-- =>reboot phone

First apply the theme and them copy phone.apk of the ROM orginal??
If I aplly the new phone.apk, the dialer also will change? (i dont want that dialer change)
you will have the original dialer interface.

very nice looking theme. When you say flashable, you mean rename file to "update.zip" and put in /sdcard and then go into recovery mode to apply it. What if you want to go back to original?

I think i do, he removed alot of languages and if the language in swype doesn´t match the one you have set in the phone it doesn´t work

That´s why you should always make a copy of the apps the theme changes
Wait a minute and i will upload
This isn´t a CWM zip
Delete libSwypeCore.so in system/lib and delete swype.apk in system/app
And then copy this over to the same place

I can't seem to flash this with the CWM App?
If I try to the Flash button stays dark and after a while I get a FC from the App?
Flashing a Kernel with the CWM App works fine so it's not a problem with the CWM App.

It's NOT a CWM package and BTW if you flashed another kernel different from CF-Root you lost the clockworkmod recovery and you have only the cwm.apk on your system but it's pretty useless... can be used only to flash kernel now... try running a backup

For those flashing the wrong theme

Again... if you flashed another kernel (maybe to remove yellow triangle?) You have lost the cwm.
You still have the app but that's the less important part of recovery and pretty useless with another kernel
CF suggests that step for those wanting a rooted stock rom
but stock rom = not cwm recovery

If u look properly then the current colour is very close to ics blue. And anything low then this brightness wont look good. I'll make 5 tabs tomorrow.

I just theme the original 14 toggle mod. I havent made it. Ask qobok, the original maker of this mod to make one for jva and I'll theme it.

I've no status bar and no notifications
Tried to wipe cache/ dalvik cache/fix permissions but same thing.
Any idea?
Sorry to say but u did something wrong, I also faced this problem once. Relfashing v8.1 and then flashing this will solve the problem. DoctorZ ROM v9 will have this included .

Just flashed through CWM as usually. I don't see where I can do something wrong
The flash succeed normally and say complete but when I Boot the phone, it works normally and can access all the menus but no status bar/ notifications.
The only solution to get the status bar is by replacing the systemUI in system/app with the original one extracted from the rom.
Maybe a bad flash, reflash DoctorZ ROM v8.1 and then flash my themed mod.

Important: this is made for KezraPlanes Optimized Galaxy W Stock V2 ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1438452 . I dont know if it will work with V1 of the ROM without any Issues but its working great on V2.
I personally tested this on my phone (Im using Optimized Galaxy W Stock V2 by Kezra) and I didn't encounter any issues.
Again.. CRT animation is enabled
Please backup your Framework-res.apk, systemUI.apk and settings.apk before flashing the zip.
I will not be responsible if something goes wrong with your phone.. flash at your own risk
Instructions:
1. Download and place the zip file in your SD card.
2. Reboot your phone to recovery.
3. Install zip from recovery.
4. Reboot and done..

I tried it on XXLA2 stock rom and it works

just install the zip in recovery and the current theme will be overwritten..
the link for the original stock theme is posted at the bottom of the first post

it doesn't work on optimized V1. i have try it and the phone is getting on-off, on-off, on-off...........
btw, the SteelBlue Theme is fantastic. i had it on my Galaxy Mini and have it very missed on my W.

Now i'm trying googling for crack this Sammy proprietary file..what i'm talking about here Bootanimation..they using .qmg file rite? I just ran out of idea when know about this sammy' crap...they just want all of their user staring on that shiny glamorous corporate logo when booting their device..they wanna told us tgat "this is a samsung device".!really..i just annoy with that bootanimation..

Where to copy the .zip file? And did you backup "Framework-res.apk, systemUI.apk and settings.apk"?? One more thing, how do you make it happen? I'm sorry, an indeed noob.

Just go into this directory using file manager that has root privileges like,root explorer,es explorer, etc... copy that file and paste to ur desired directory in sd card.
Framework-res.apk;
/system/framework/
SystemUI-apk;
/system/app/
Just like that...if that answer refer to u question .if not,ignore me..

Hmm I don't know how but my version of fnv is corrupt on my sdcard (after a clean wipe). Let me re-download it now!

OK problem found:
If I re-install the ROM with different GAPPS everything is OK and boots no problem.
However, as I have used FNV since 001 I have used a different GAPPS package which is causing it to die (even if I do a clean install of FNV and the gapps I have without installing you theme).
Anyway now I have it installed it looks really nice only the radio buttons in the reboot menu look a little squashed

Awesome. Is there any way to get the theme but without the rounded edges? Just flat, but still retain the 3d for settings and slider icons. Just no rounded edge backgrounds. Again if you can't no problem

blue edition is payed app. now i try red edition until i'm sure that work on this rom.

but elegant blue theme zip it's quite different from elegant blue themechooser. especially status bar icon . it's more..."lite" and i like zip most.
