Video Review: SGP Stehen Leather Case for Galaxy Note - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Hey guys,
Got my hands on the SGP Stehen leather case, which is a folio style case made from plastic and leather. This case features a leather flap for screen protection that can be turned into a viewing stand, which is fantastic. You'll get great protection from this one, since the leather and plastic combination is very shock absorbant.

Video Review: Tridea Bumper Case!

Hey guys,
Got my hands on the Tridea Tedoori Bumper case, this is a TPU bumper that wraps around the sides and corners of your Galaxy S III to provide a tight fitting but slim case alternative. As a bumper, it leaves the front and back exposed, however you can pair this case up with a set of skins and have maximum scratch protection.
Check out the full review below for more info:
good video mate, check out the bumper beetle too...
Thanks a funky idea... i dont know that to think. It covers what is important to cover, and would make me feel better putting it on table.... but still the back not being fully protected bothers me for some reason..... Thanks for the review!!!! Much appreciated.

[CASE]What is a good case with a built in screen protector?

any ideas?

I think the two most are buying are the Otterbox Defender and the Ballistic Maxx. Trident will have one out pretty soon, it will be their Kraken model. I've had the chance to handle and examine the Otterbox Defender, and it's a nice case. Fits well, surprisingly not too bulky for the design and the level of protection it brings to the table, and the screen protector is pretty good. Most of these cases with integrated screen protectors are just pretty much sturdy plastic boxes that the phones fits snugly into and then are covered on all but one side with a soft rubbery material. The uncovered side being the screen protector. The Ballistic has been getting a mix of reviews in here, and the Trident Kraken is on it's way. Usually Trident makes some nice cases. Checkout the Otterbox,, Trident & Ballistic websites, and cruise thru YouTube for some video reviews and comparisons on these cases. GL!
Add the Case-Mate Phantom Case to the mix.
thanks for the reply's

Cases for the Bamboo OPO

I own a OnePlus One with the Bamboo back and as most people already know, it's actually quite thicker than the normal sandstone black and silk white backs and also a bit heavier. Because of this, most cases won't fit. I already tried putting on a naked clear case but my phone was too thick. Hopefully others with the Bamboo back could post here what cases would fit so we can put together a sort of list of confirmed cases that fit the Bamboo OPO.

I was debating to open a thread for this too, but here, I have these cases:
6x Aluminium Bumper Case (no SIM slot)
4x Ringke Fusion Case
2x Orzly Fusion "Bumper" Case
1x TUDIA Slim Fit Dual-Layer Cygen
1x TUDIA Ultra Slim LITE TPU Bumper
1x Diablo Jkase Rugged Case
Aluminium Bumper Case: I wouldn't use these because I don't want to damage the plastic on the side of the phone, as well as get my bamboo scratched. But it does fit, screws require a bit more pressure for locking in, which brings me to my original point, I don't want to damage the orange-ish plastic.
Ringke Fusion Case: I'm using this on my Daily Driver OnePlus One (Bamboo) atm, as well as my developer OnePlus One (sandstone) - I love these cases, it feels so high quality and fits around the device well. As you can see, I have 4 because two of them were the first batch which were quite loose.
Orzly Fusion "Bumper" Case: Rubbish. It doesn't shape around the edges of the phone and the lips of the "lay-on-the-table" design is so loose, I'd toss these out if I were you.
TUDIA Slim Fit Dual-Layer Cygen: Fits, but as usual the flaws are that the hard plastic does not align properly with the TPU is more obvious than on the Sandstone. Bad first batch, but not for everyone - as the manufacturing line is different.
TUDIA Ultra Slim LITE TPU Bumper: I have the clear version to show off the back. It looks good, and fits very well. As usual, clear displays the bamboo design quite well.
Diablo Jkase Rugged Case: It was a rather "loose" case to begin with, so it fits well with the bamboo styleswap/bamboo device. However, why would you buy a case to cover your bamboo anyways?

Wow! That's solid helpful. The one I wanted to get but didn't fit when I tried it on was the Bepak Slim Transparent Case so stay away from that if you've got the bamboo. I really wanted a clear case coz I didn't want to cover the Bamboo but after trying the Bepak case I didn't think any slimfit clear case would fit. Glad to hear the Ringke Fusion Case fits! Do you have the clear one? I think I might just order one.

Sorry, can I just confirm, is the Aluminium Case you mention first the one by kwmobile/KW-Commerce? And, if it is, you say you wouldn't choose it because of potential scratching, but do you think it's still a good case in that it protects the screen from being damaged?

Yeah because that case is actually already very snug on the sandstone version of the OnePlus, with the added thickness at the back, it will scrape along the plastic and the bamboo (I had a lot of experience with aluminium bumpers with added thickness battery covers (Note 3 + Al bumper + Al battery cover) and the battery cover was scratches so much). It will protect your screen somehow (I did drop my sandstone OPO with a tempered glass on solid concrete and it was perfectly fine)

Thanks for the information; think I'll give that one a miss then and go for the Tudia Ultra Slim instead

strongly disagree. I'd recommend Orzly Fusion bumper case. The fit is perfect, not too tight. Fits perfectly round the edges and definitely not loose on the 'lay-on-the-table' part. I also own Ringke & Diztronic.
Im pretty sure u got a bad batch of the Orzly, or maybe an early batch...

I would not, my two cases I ordered one month apart are exactly what KP Smith said in a comment here:

Thank you for doing this review. Your post makes me want to try the TUDIA Ultra Slim LITE TPU Bumper.
Saw this review on it.

my diztronic tpu slim cases fit pretty good as well. you put them on like you would with the regular back then just run your fingers around the edges and it falls right into place. I have 4 different colors from different batches and all fit fine. I also have the ringke fusion.. its actually on my phone right now. Its got the clear back and tinted sides. Fits 99.9% perfectly! Its my go to case for sure.

Protective Case

I always rock an Otterbox Commuter case on my phones mainly for work conditions can get rough at times. From what I've seen, Otterbox is only offering their Defender series (too big and bulky) and their Symmetry series (thinner, one piece case). I've decided to go with the Symmetry series and I'm pleasantly surprised. It definitely adds a little bit of bulk, but not as much as the Commuter, while offering great all-around protection. The one piece design is easy to put on and remove (unlike previous Symmetry cases I've tried on other phones). I do wish that there was a bit of grip on the sides like the Speck Presidio series cases, but I like the design. Unfortunately the only options were clear, pink, or black.... so I went with black.
So what's your choice for a protective case? Share pics and comments.
I too normally use the Otterbox defender for my phones but I wanted to try something new. I bought a poetic revolution for myself and a supcase unicorn beetle pro for my wife. They appeared a little slimmer and had port covers which I wanted. Amazon says they will arrive tomorrow so I shall see.

I had the unicorn beetle pro for my Nexus 6 and it's a nice cheaper alternative to the defender, but it still adds more bulk than the commuter case. I may look into the poetic case though. Let me know how they work out for you. ?
I went to Best Buy and tried out the Defender case. Definitely too bulky and I hate the built in screen protector (and it doesn't sit well over a glass screen protector, even if you take out the built in one).
You may not like the poetic as it has the built in screen protector. I'm used to the bulk of the defender so I'm not a great judge of the size. I will tell you the poetic is smaller then the supcase unicorn beetle. Built in port covers are nice too, overall it is a smaller rugged case you can say.
just received the Poetic Karbon Shield Slim Fit Case With Anti-Slip Side Grip and Carbon Fiber Texture. it's a slimmer-fit case that offers (what i believe is) more protection than a thin TPU case. sharing pictures for those interested to know how it fits the G6. i also have tempered glass screen protector on the phone as well. you'll also notice in the first pic that wireless charing works with the case on the phone. i usually go with a much thinner case but i really like the look and feel of this one. will give it a week or so before i decide if it's a keeper. (please excuse the dust in the pictures - our HVAC ducts were being cleaned when i took these pictures).
Went from a Note 3 with Otterbox Commuter to a G6 with Spigen "Tough Armor" case, and am satisfied with it. Feels like it provides just as much protection as the Otterbox Commuter, yet not adding quite as much bulk. I'm kinda rough with my phones sometimes, and I'd have peace of mind if I were to accidentally drop my G6 from waist-height or so.
If you choose to go with Spigen, definitely buy it off Amazon, rather than directly from Spigen's website; it's cheaper off Amazon.

I almost went with this case but I got this one instead. It's the Caseology.
This Poetic has been great for me after a few days of use. Lightweight, decent protection, and good grip.

I wanted to order Poetic but they don't ship to EU and i get Ringke Fusion but still waiting for the phone.

I just ordered this one on Amazon. Saw the office and couldn't pass it up. Glad to see it looks good, and works well with a glass protector. I got the Spigen glass 2 pack as I've always liked everything Spigen makes.
Was gonna get the unicorn beetle that I had for my s7e, but don't think I need that much protection on this one, plus no edge screens that I need to prevent my palm from hitting lol.
Update: I hate the Karbon case. Doesn't fit tightly and leaves gaps at the edges on the front. I guess for $8 it'll hold me over until I get a good case, but this one is not staying pass this weekend.

I would go for the Spigen Rugged Amor, it’s much slimmer and provide pretty much the same protection as the symmerty series http://www.the-reviewr.com/best-lg-g6-case/
Had that rugged armor for my v20 and loved it. Decided to go with the neo hybrid for the g6

Do you have pics of what it looks like on your phone?
Thanks!
So guys I'm searching for a good protective case that doesn't add too much bulk. I'm torn between the Poetic Revolution and the Supcase Unicorn Beetle. I like the way the Poetic looks except for the cutout on back, I prefer the Unicorns Cutouts. If anyone here has any pics to share, that be awesome. Or unless someone has another case to throw in the mix. THanks

OnePlus Official case

This case is grippy? good protection?
better than Spigen Neo hybrid?
Depends on which official case you get. The sandstone is grippy/gritty like other OnePlus sandstone products. The rosewood is the only wood case I've used. It feels like laminate floors and doesn't provide much grip. The Karbon (my favorite) feels like soft touch plastic and adds some extra grip.
The Spigen neo hybrid is fine but I prefer the official Karbon case since it's less bulky and has a nicer feel. The downside of the official cases is they don't cover the top or bottom edge of the phone and don't create much of a lip on the front. The RhinoShield Crash Guard is a good minimal option that will protect the phone from drops on flat surfaces.
