[Q] Perform custom application action using NFC - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I am trying to set up some NFC tag actions using my Galaxy Nexus running stock ICS 4.02. I am using the pro version of NFC Task Launcher. Right now I can create a shortcut to launch a program via NFC, but I want to do more. For example, I want to create an NFC tag in my living room that will execute a Wake On LAN command. Right now, I have the option to launch the WOL program, but then I have to click a button on the screen, which is such a pain. I think I can do what I want using the Custom command line option which should "open a specific activity within an app", but I don't know how to figure out the custom activity command. This command would be formatted like "com.google.android.talk.BuddyListCombo", which I found in reference to Google Talk. How can I figure out custom commands for different programs? Thanks.

I beleive that you will have two choices.
1. Contact the application developer.
2. Launch application from Eclipse, then you will see the intent.
Or is there anybody else that has a better solution?

Bottom softbar blocking java apps

For some reason, and this is only after I upgraded to kavana's 6.1 ROM, a few java apps are being cut off by the bottom bar. The first two I've noticed so far as jmIRC and Virca. The text is cut off by the bottom softbar and is not visable until other people (or yourself) types about 4 more lines of text. This is really annoying and makes the app pretty much unusable since you can't see what people are typing until other people start typing things as well. I'll see if I can upload a screenshot from my phone sometime today.
I have a similar issue with the GMail application. When I try to use the options, the bottom softbar blocks the pop up windows for commands, and I'm unable to use it properly.
Here is the picture of my screen when trying to use the app. There is probably 3 or 4 more lines of text that you cannot see for the bottom bar.

I noticed you were using that crappy irc client, i reccomend zsIrc, google it and get the zip not the cab, as the cab won't install, also its for ppc so ya can't set anything up in the menus, but there is a .ini file that is fairly simple to edit and set up all your settings..
good luck.
It's to do with the version of jbed on the phone there is a thread about Google Java app that says about this

What do you mean with "install"? You just have to copy them to your application in Visual Studio or Blend to use them!

ShowTabTip
Some users used to have problems with text forms (with touchscreen too), the touch keyboard didn't appear and it's very annoying to open osk or the touch panel manually
This tool is very tiny (<900KB) and run in background, only an icon in notification area will be show
This tool check a clicked/tapped textbox and opens the touch keyboard
This is the first version, so sometimes it might not function, biu I've tested with a lot of user, so iThink that it functions correctly
Sorry for bad english
Waiting for feedback!

Does not work on Acer W700, Windows 8 x64. Additional components are required?
As I writed before, this is the first version and sometimes the keyboard did't appear, butI don't know why and I'm trying to find a solution
This app don't require anything other as far I know...
Is this based on an autohotkey script?
Yes, and the script is based on a script that i found on ahk forum here: http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/89058-help-converting-autoit-script-to-ahk/ with some edits to make it smarter
This does not work... have tested on Dell Latitude 10 x86... icon appears in taskbar, but I click the address pane in internet explorer and nothing happens, still have to open keyboard manually.. Its a shame because that is something that really pisses me off about Windows 8 and I hate using metro mode all the time because apps only run full screen..

Illusion Hubs

hello guys,
am playing a bit with tasker, and I ended up making this application, I found very useful, clean my screen with one click, and with another click, the more I use in my screen ..
Is not totally ready, I'm looking for help, and also ideas, as you want to help someone, you are welcome, I'm not a developer, I know very little programming, so I think this idea in the hands of a developer, and new ideas that can be great ....
some screens:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Observations:
this app was done on a 4.2 rom (Paranoid), so do not expect everything to work if your rom is different .. (but most works).
Install the app, this need plugins, download them:
Overlays: The best app of 2013 for me, very helpful, still in development, some disappearances of widgets to add, try again if this happens .. (always place the widget first portait, then in landscape).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39784494 --thanks the dev for nice app!!
this no longer in google play, so I'm providing here to download
Locale execute Plug-in
Notes Widget
Desk Notes
For the widgets appear in the app, you should make them with the same names cited here: (Overlay).
Clock
Gallery
Weather
Calendar

[ALPHA][5.0+] Contextual App Folder (C.A.F.)

Hello everybody,
we are looking for alpha tester for a new app that we’ve been working on for a long time: Contextual App Folder (C.A.F.)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
C.A.F. like the name suggest allows you to create contextual folder on your homescreen and access to the right apps and shortcuts just when you need them. The app offers 9 different trigger (e.g. Headset, Bluetooth, GEO Location) to create your custom scenarios and it should also work with Tasker for more advanced stuff. Custom folder styles and color options are also available.
If that sounds interesting for you and you’re willing to accept minor flaws which come with a early access release then join our Google+ Community to get access to the app on Google Play:
https://plus.google.com/communities/114562739170140440710
It’s currently a closed group (some components are not ready for a public release) so you need “ask to join” but we’ll try to give you access soon as possible. A open Beta through the Play Store beta program is also planned in the next weeks.
Things to note:
The App requires Android 5.0+
You may have to adjust the folder size if your device is not in our database or you are using a custom launcher
Looking forward hearing your feedback!
*Edit*: The app is now in beta and can be downloaded directly from the Play Store. Thanks to everyone who participated our alpha test!
