I think that works the same way it does on computers. Depending on your network.
So maybe there's a similar trick to bypass this as you can do with a computer using a proxy.

UPDATE : Just had a look on Google and didn't find anything related to your specific problem but there are plenty of people having troubles with the market and the non-availability of some apps in their country. Some managed to solve this using a US-based VPN. Maybe you should try that.

Could try a proxy

The MoreLocale 2 app (available in the Play store) does exactly what you're looking for. I needed it to change from US(canada) to US(us) for the Amazon music app.

[Q] Is there any way to Crack Amazons appstore ?

I live in Brasil, and my 1-click settings at the amazon.com site is using a Brasilian international credit card, so as my brasilian address.
Since i am using my real information, i can't manage to use the Amazons app store at my Kindle fire and on my Xperia Arc.
I've already tried the whole thing if creating a new account, with fake data fetched from fakenamegenerator.com but it does not worked aswell.
Is there any way i can "crack" my appstore app so that it does not check for amazon.com feedback about my account country, or is this impossible ?
I really want to start using the app store from Brasil, let me know if there is anything i can do.
Thanks !

Why don't you try Google Play Store? That way it's easy to manage your apps in both devices.

I do use the play store but:
1. Not all the apps are tagged as compatible to my Kindle fire, forcing me to download the APK from the market and push it into the kindle manually
2. Amazon appstore have some free apps daily or weekly, which the play store does not have.
Are you rooted?
I know you can modify your build.prop to mask as another device to improve app compatibility. I've read that most apps that are said to be incompatible are not.

Yes i am rooted, and changing the build.prop file properties, sometimes help, sometimes dont.
But this is not the thread's question.
I would like to access the amazon app store, from Brasil.
1. Yes, i've tried proxies
2. Yes, i've tried fakenamegenerator.com
Edit: This is a new method, but it also failed to work for me :
http://spimitech.com/guides/access-amazon-apps-market-from-outside-the-us/
I've set the new card, billing adress using a hotel on international drive, and set the new payment method as 1-click.
App still saying that i don't have a US billing Address or Credit Card
None of those worked for me

Books / Movies / Magazines to non-US residents

\Hello,
My parents were in the US for a while, so they bought me a Nexus 7.
They also bought one for each of them and theirs were activated while in america, so they have magazines, movies and books working when they got back.
For me the only thing working is Play Music but, since it works, made me wonder if it is possible to get movies/books/magazines working...
It has to be possible..
Have anyone done that already?
If so, how?
Thank you!
In the UK?

Music is still a grey area but should work, no problem with books or movies, magazines not so much.
I use a vpn for this and switch off the gps and location services......works 99% of the time.....im in ireland
How does it work out in terms of billing? Does it go through all right?

I use Zinio. It has a much better magazine selection and is available worldwide, I think. It does work in Canada.

I set up my nexus 7 this way, put irish credit card on it and got the play credit on my google account.
I was wondering the same thing i heardu can unlock them but u cant buy anything, atleast not in Canada.

I also recommend Zinio. Usually have some good special on magazine subscriptions too.
I got the Books to work using a VPN. I was able to download a couple of free ones. Didn't try buying any but I presume it would work if you get the US Play Store working through a VPN.
Using DroidVPN and Market Enabler you can access the US Play Store, but without a US credit card you cannot purchase anything from movies/books/magazines/music (even if it's free!) So maybe if you can get a prepaid US credit card it will work but I'm not sure..
Great ideas.
Thank you, guys.
I used this method to buy stuff from Google Play: http://goo.gl/mHhY8
In short, use VPN to access the Google Play, either through the web or the app. I personally use Hide My Ass! and Super Free VPN to buy books and music.
Once I bought them I can access the contents without VPN.

My question is, are there anything that I can do to make playstore to restore my location in hong kong so that I dont have restructions?. I want to access to all others categories.
Please if anyone experienced the same problem, please ler me know the solution

International travelling, storing maps offline.

Hi guys,
let me start of with saying i don't know where this thread belongs, since it's not sgn2 related, but more of a general android question.
Okay, my ' problem' : I'm going to be in south africa for a few weeks in december, i want to use my gps to know where i'm going, but i don't want all the roaming costs from loading the map itself. Is there any way to store a big part of the map or location offline on our device? Or is there an app that doesn't need roaming and already has the map itself?
Thanks in advance,
Kain
A few apps should have this feature but I don't have any name in mind...
However I know that Google Maps allow you to use maps offline: Google support
Google Maps allows it in a limited way
Google maps actually allow us to locally store an small area as offline, but its not gonna be sufficient to u, try to use some offline maps like Sygic or so,
Maybe u can try Mapswithme?

I actually used Google Maps to track myself with GPS during my trip to South Africa. You need internet to do a search for a place or get directions (hotel/coffeeshop WiFi will do), but if you think you know where the place is on the map (the maps still include the labels) you can zoom in to view the label (in otherwords, you have to do a manual search for things without an internet connection)
.
Offline maps are great for hikes (or safaris, in South Africa ) to help you know how far you are from a road or landmark. Use the 'distance ruler' function. From my experience, a surprising number of trails, world-wide, are well mapped-out.
I still do offline maps, today, because I didn't upgrade to the new Google Maps (the reviews were terrible), but you may have to search to find and download the old Google Maps.
Maps with me pro

Sygic with worldwide maps on the device is an option too.
I most be missing something but there are all kinds of offline map programs. Sygic, Copilot (there is a free version), Navigon, Maverick is more offroad but can be used to find your way around. Locus is another it also has a free version. There are dozens more. Look on Play store.
I use navfree. Careful with Google maps. I believe it deletes map data after two weeks. Thought I read that somewhere.

+1 for Navfree. Don't forget that you need to download your maps via the app before you leave.
No harm in having a few free nav apps at your disposal. They'll all have their own strengths so perhaps you might find yourself using more than one. So maybe download a handful of the free ones.

We are 2 users on the tab s & we wanna use one same game (sims freeplay) but i did not find a way to allow an app for 2 account. The game need ~700mb & with only 16gb it's huge if i must download the game twice...
Any idea ?
(Sorry for my bad english, ask me if it's not clear )
Thanks in advance !
What Android version are you running?
Is your device rooted?
Doesn't the game offer different accounts? Maybe trough different google accounts.

Lollipop 5.0.2 no root.
Yeah, the game save on a facebook account that is connected on the device but it's not really simple to change the facebook account each time. And the android version allow user session (c.f: http://gadgetguideonline.com/android/lollipop/how-to-use-android-lollipop-guest-user-mode-and-multiple-users/)
So, i am using this but if i have an app on my session, i am the only one who can open this app. I am looking for a way to allow an other user to open this app.
Thanks for your answer
