Over the last 24 hours I've had a few friends and beta testers test out a ROM that I've put together over at tincandroid.com and I've been told that this might be of interest to some people over here at XDA because is fast and looks great. I'm willing to share this BUT I've seen a few people post ROMs in the past only to be trash talked and I really dont' have time for that SO I want to know ahead of time
This ICS ROM is based of AOKP M4 and has a few more features that I've added for performance and a better look to it. If there's interest, I'll post it...if not then I'll just keep it on tincandroid.com

I have been playing with this ROM from over on Tincandroid and I can say that it does ROCK!
Smooth, runs everything, quick. And the scheme is kind of cool too.
Now........... If it only had 4G!!

Argh, this is almost perfect! The only thing it lacks is the ability to set the background and control the frequency of the drops.

There is a thread in general discussing this very thing. But no, this being a question should be in qna or general..
The reason I posted here was because I am willing to help out with anything I can to get this accomplished. Sorry.. I know how to do Android apps... But never attempted a ROM..

Since you are a developer may be you can contact jerdog he is the moderator..regarding ICS I think they are building a base so when Samsung releases the code, or leaks rom , they can build roms faster...there are two parts as far as i understand one is kernel development and one is rom and ril etc..SteadyHawkin is working on kernel and Viperboy is working on the other part i think, there are other developers too like Calkulin,Phantom etc I am not listing everyone...but you can talk to them about your past experience and may be they can let you know how you can be a part of their development team,,I am not a developer so can not tell you more...But I will tell you they are all very smart and good guys..

As you may have heard I have joined the Sensation team and am working on the Sensation 3.0 ROM port. I have attached some screenshots of what I have done so far. I am getting alot of help from fnut6969 and Ludogris. I have quite a few bugs to work out and some more detailed work to do. Just wanted everyone to know that this is coming. Hopefully this sparked some interest. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm looking forward to it! I hope the bugs from the 1.7 version are fixed. Like I mentioned in that other thread, the only problem I had was the swype keyboard kept coming back after I change it to another keyboard. I like the colors and the feel of this rom a lot though! Real easy on my eyes and it's fast and snappy.

This is a whole new rom. 1.7 was based off Calk so more than likely the bugs are gone.

In fact i think all "whats the best ROM/Theme" etc. should be banned as they just spam the board.

I see where you're coming from.
I agree that everyone has different taste, and using your example, I think Rihanna is one of the hottest women alive.
However I only wanted to get other peoples opinions on themes they may have used and liked.

At least with the gnex people have lots of ROMs to argue uselessly about. Many phones only have the ROM they came with, and don't even get CWM to back it up with. One of the many reasons I'm glad to own a gnex.

lol I'd take that challenge, I've got blackbean flashed with trinity and I am loving it, plus I've got one of those insane pulley arm working out things like Stallone had installed in his 18 wheeler on perhaps the greatest movie ever made "Over the Top"
The best rom is the one thats not built yet.. Everyone is diff with diff tastes,, So you will get a million diff answers to that question.. stock rom is nice. or BAMF or paranoid etc.. just try them all and find one that fits you..
