Nokia Lumia 900 for 1 Cent at Amazon! - Nokia Lumia 900

Amazon has the Nokia Lumia 900 for only 1 Cent for New Customers. If you are upgrading it's $139.99. Pretty sweet deal if you are switching from another provider.
Nokia Lumia 900 for 1 Cent at Amazon!

Don't forget Amazon has FREE Shipping and No Tax in most states so this makes it a sweeter deal than some of the others (where they'll charge you tax on the full retail price of the phone).

Walmart is a better deal if it's an upgrade. But if Amazon is a penny for new customers with no tax and shipping, how is Walmart a better deal?

just press new to att at the bottom. Select the lumia 900 and your plan and cart will show $100 discount
Wow, they really are not ruining this one with the price.
I got the $100 dollar discount, but that discount didn't make it free. It brought the price down from $199.99 to $99.99. I think $200 is the intended retail price, but a $100 promotion bring the price down to $100.
It might be free for others, but thats the way it worked with my company discount.
Mine came out to $0 due after discount. I already got confirmation that the order was processed and sent to the warehouse for shipping
Can I take advantage of this if I am on Sprint and I would like to transfer my line to an existing AT&T plan with my family? I'm new to AT&T even if they aren't.

Nokia Lumia 900 at Costco

Just talked to a Costco representative who said that the Nokia Lumia 900 is likely to be there on launch day but if not, it'll be there in the first week. Price is going to be $99.99.
Why buy at Costco?
You only pay tax on the sales price (instead of paying tax on the retail value) and Costco also give you a free car charger, case and screen protector. You also get 30 days to return the phone if you don't like it for a full refund.
Not too bad to wait an extra few days if it's not available on launch day.
But AT&T will be free and Amazon for one cent. Plus I heard (see posts in the same forum) that there will be special promo in AT&T stores.
Not so sure if Costco is the best deal. Plus you have to pay for a Costco Membership.

Keep in mind that the free and one cent promos are for brand new customers. It's a great deal if any one decides to switch carriers.

I tried to get 710 for my wife off contract from Costco and the wouldn't even sell it to me. I doubt they would offer it for 99$ unless you are new.
That's what I thought... so if you are new subscriber AT&T and Amazon is better deal. Not that I can buy from them, but I do live close enough to the border and if there a better deal to be had, I would want to see the details. I know off contract is going to be about $450. But if Costco is selling for $99 then I would be interested. Seems to me that AT&T and Amazon are the place to buy for new subscribers.

You do need to be a Costco member to take advantage of it but if you already have it, it's pretty good.

Does Amazon still have it for 1 cent and AT&T still free for new subscribers? I tried it a few days ago and those deals didn't seem to be available. I would go that route too but I'm adding a new line to an existing AT&T family plan so I don't think those would work for me.

Apparently it's a discount applied at final checkout so the phone is free or one cent. Obviously I cannot try it because I'm not in the USA.
Best to call up AT&T or go to the store. Apparently there is also some other free stuff they are kicking in but that's not confirmed.
Just found out that Sam's Club is doing a similar deal to Costco where they only charge tax on the sales price of the phone. They don't include all the accessories that Costco does but another option if you have a membership to Sam's Club already.

The AT&T promo for launch day is......(Glad I canceled my pre-order ;) )

Nokia Lumia 900 for $99.99 for the phone and you get $100.00 in accessories for free.
Maybe no $36 upgrade charge either; (not confirmed)
So if you haven't received your shipping info for a pre-order I would cancel and enjoy the promotion on Monday's launch.
I expect this to be confirmed at 7pm tonight via Nokia Times Square launch party, followed by $100 million TV barrage to batter the USA for the next 4-6weeks.
P.S> accessories must be compatible with the Nokia Lumia 900, Headphones....

This means you need to buy it at an AT&T store right? And is it only good on launch day or for a limited time from launch day on?
Hoping the Microsoft store matches the promotion, if not ATT HERE I COME!
Not sure how long the accessory promotion is, the source is a rep. I can only speculate on the length of the promotion, but I would think it would last more then a day. The source didn't specify if the $100 had to be used the same day or if it was a gift card or in store credit. The only thing that was specifically mentioned was the accessories had to be Nokia Lumia 900 compatible.
If you go to at$t web site and look at the Lumia 900 "compatible accessories" I count 29 items. However at least 1 item, the alarm dock would appear to not be compatible; its the " iHome iP18 Color Changing Alarm Clock Speaker "
The source also mentioned that $100 mill was being spent in the first 4-6 weeks on promotion, and another $100 mill after, but not sure how long it was to last.
On Monday, when I pick up my phone at a corporate At$t store for $106.74 after tax, I was promised $100 in free accessories and no upgrade fee. This is what I know.
I can only imagine the offers getting better now till Monday not a retraction.
If this is the case though, does that mean those who pre-ordered don't get the $100 in accessories? That would piss me off if I didn't get this deal if I was one of the first who ordered.

I hope you who pre-ordered it do get it. Id rather be pissed I didn't get my phone early, apposed to not getting it early for $99 for $236+ tax in goods, just to wait two days.
My experience with customer service is as long as you don't stop complaining and continually state your case in a calm professional manor and keep working your way up the food chain you will get what you want, with in reason.
According to a post on WPCentral, those who pre-ordered using an upgrade or new contract are eligible (at least for the North Central region).

Very interesting. Are there even $100 in accessories available yet that are compatible with the Nokia Lumia 900? Seems like you'd be buying a bunch of cases when you only really need 1.
Nice!!! glad to see. Those details match the description my source gave me. Nice find uptempo777.
Beats Audio headphones are $99 and are Nokia Lumia 900 compatible.
Also, portable back up batteries are available for ~$35 and ~$40. That may be a good pick up since the battery is not removable. I think two battery back ups and a Gel case for $100 sounds good.

While texting my rep back and forth earlier because of some data issues, he explained to me that preorderers get the $100 towards accessories
I called 2 AT&T Stores and asked if they would have any special promotion to buy the Nokia Lumia 900 on launch date and they said they didn't know of any. They said they'll have a Nokia rep on-site that may possibly offer anything but they didn't know of anything for sure.
Any idea if they are playing dumb, are dumb, or just really don't know?
Has anyone confirmed that this is for the entire US, or only the North Central Region as originally noted? BTW, for pre-order customers (like me) you can go into a store and tell them to use "Manager Override Reason Code - LP10". That will get you the $100 credit.
Here is a copy of the store memo from WPCentral.com forums.
It looks to me that you have to sign a contract to get the promotion.
Effective April 6, 2012, customers in the North Central Region who purchase a Nokia Lumia 900 can receive a discount up to $100 to be used toward Nokia Lumia 900 compatible accessories
Minimum $50 accessory purchase required.
Offer requires a new or upgrade Nokia Lumia 900 on a two-year commitment.
Accessories must be purchased in the same transaction as the Nokia Lumia 900 purchase.
If a customer purchased a pre-order Nokia Lumia (between March 30, 2012, and April 8, 2012), the customer is eligible for up to $100 in accessory credit. The credit should be done with a manager override, discount reason code LP10.
The discount is taken off of the device (great for APO.)
The discount requires at least one compatible Nokia Lumia 900 accessory SKU and the Nokia Lumia 900 SKU (65367, 65375, 65511) to be included in the cart.
Five unique barcodes are used to issue the discount:
$60 discount barcode applies to accessories totaling $49.95 - $60.00
$70 discount barcode applies to accessories totaling $60.01 - $70.00
$80 discount barcode applies to accessories totaling $70.01 - $80.00
$90 discount barcode applies to accessories totaling $80.01 - $90.00
$100 discount barcode applies to accessories totaling $90.01 and above
The customer receives up to $100 in credit toward their accessory purchase (no cash back value if the purchase totals less than $100.)
Apple branded accessories, gift cards and iTunes cards are excluded.
The $100 accessory offer applies to Nokia Lumia 900 compatible accessories only.
This offer applies to COR only.
Merchandising
An exclusive price card backer and in-store flyer is being used to promote the $100 Accessory Credit. COR locations are scheduled to receive these price card backers to display the week of April 8, 2012.

Great deal from Amazon

This looks to be the best deal right now on an out of contract purchase:
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Optimus-G-...r=1-1&keywords=B00COPRHT6&tag=thelinactsho-20
That's pretty amazing considering what you get and beats AT&T's non-contract price by $25.
I don't know what you're smoking but AT&T's no contract price is $440 at their store. With my local tax, it's $473 out the door. If that's too much, I can goto Costco and get it for $98 out the door on 2 year contract, pay the ETF of $325 and I'll still end up with a contract free phone for $423.

It was a one day deal off contract for $414. Amazon raised the price so it wouldn't make a lot of sense to even consider buying it from them now.

You should have noted that it's a 1 day deal to avoid the confusion. Amazon now charges sales tax so even at $414+sales tax, it still costs more if bought through costco then pay the ETF.

Costco Price now $79 (cheaper than BB inc tax)

I was at my local Costco today and noticed the VZW price was down to $79 So if you've picked yours up there roll in for a $75ish price adjustment. You will need your ORIGINAL receipt in order get it.
For anyone holding out that means that the Costco price is now lower than BestBuy price since BB charges tax on retail price not out of pocket price like Costco.
Denver tax rate
BB 50+(650*.085) = 105.25
Costco 80+(150*.085) = 92.75
edit: costco tax adjusted. Is based off price of 150 not 80

Besides adding a second line and updating it? I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that I'm going to pay full price for my next phone.
A lot of people should consider the gas too. I have a Best Buy 5 minutes away. Costco is a 25-30 minute drive if theres no traffic. With my big ole V8, it'd cost more in gas than it's worth

The full tax is a state thing. In Ca. you pay full tax on the retail price.
At Costco, there is no retail price so you pay based on what they sell.
I was thinking about going to Costco and getting the phone, then after 14 days cancel and pay the ETF.
Sill cheaper than going into Verizon and paying full price.
$100+tax+$320+15days service = ~$475-500.
Almost $200 cheaper than I would pay at full retail.
I only payed $3.74 at best buy.
