[WFSDev][.sense]Easy Installer - HTC Wildfire S

Hello Guys,
This installer is based on:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24490174
Download:
http://marvelics.bplaced.net/_old/auto/RUU.exe

That's just genius I never thought about doing a rom installer like that

And what does you mean?
P.S.: In theorie it is possible to install each rom with this method

No I never thought that
I mean, the first look, the handling and so on, maybe the function. What can be better and so on...

Cool! Very clever!

Don't bother telling me ONeill
If you would have PM'ed me earlier I could have posted this
May I ask what options does it choose for you and is it configurable for different devices. Also what version of .sense is it?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S using xda premium

Is it the beta 2.0.1 version with the OC Kernel
And it can be used for every HTC device. You can reinsert another system.img so you can use every Rom you ever had
More you find here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24490174

@ONeill123-plz advise people to wipe data before using this......i got stuck at the boot animation while installing....It booted completely only on wiping data

No,
and the answer to the question why:
because this installer is like a RUU (Rom Update Utility). That means, that your data has to be stored to use in the newer version of the rom, too. Without backup or something else.
ONeill

I think the problem might be that I used this installer over CM7...can't think of anything else

What is this AROMA thingy?

Hey guys! Just curious. Flashed ARHD ROM and it said "AROMA". I've been using this ROM for well over a month now. Is this AROMA thing a feature that I have been missing out or something? :/
Thanks in advance
it lets u customize what u install with the rom
You should search for the answer you need rather than just asking for it.

nope he's dead....
The rom cant possible kill your phone its proven
Only after many many flashes your recovery will have problems with backing up
But isnt really needed
Only thing that could kill it was some apps that arent for this phone
Like rom manager etc
Things that require root etc

Welcome to rooting.. so if im getting your question right you want to go to a new ROM possibly.. and youre on AOSP..well since you are new I would suggest using a one click odin (your choice ) and start from there since you are on A JB build ...
-TeaM VeNuM Like A Boss
+1 for one click of your choice, make sure you pick a full wipe one though.
Tappin' Typin'
I would flash over the EL26 CWM kernel, first it just makes it easier for you, and is a very safe recovery to flash from.
Thank you guys, actually I just wanted to know what to do when I decide to explore others roms but for now I really like this one so Ima stay here a while I didnt knew rooting would be this cool but new roms and with apps like setcpu this is very nice, thanks again.

Oh I see well all is your choice on the path..one major thing I suggest is when moving from ROM to ROM back up your apps ..(non system apps)and make sure to wipe on a safe recoveries (Kuban kernel, agats, el26) problems can arise from dirty installs
I also suggest ROM toolbox from the play store its a great tool that basically does everything

And which is the best rom available? In terms of speed and one last question, does overclocking really boosts up the speed. Should i really do that?

Cyanogenmod Is a rom, and so is htc sense and miui ect. You have already changed rom! And yes, allowing you don't over do it there should be no harm bar the battery will run down faster.
I think with cm7, some apps still lag. For e.g xda app crashes at times and it gives the error "force close" which never really happened before.
2) And can u tell me should i try cm9 with jelly bean / ice cream sandwich.
3) and how can i use rom manager? I rooted yesterday and didn't use it. What's the first option i should use etc ( a forum link would be appreciated) i couldn't find any.

CM 7 is a really smooth ROM no ICS ROM is faster. I think you should stay on CM7.
You can use ROM Manager if u want to flash a new ROM for example CM9 or a new ClockworkMod recovery. You can also Download the newest Version of CM7 (gApps etc.)via ROM Manager.
Maybe you should try to clear the app cache and data to get the app working

But can you teach me more about Rom Manager? I had it pre-installed in cm7 but don't know how to use it.
I heard that rom manager can get phone's bricked. I haven't even made a backup of cm7
