@ razvankim : Please revise if you had done the installation as you should have done, and please pay attention on your style. ~3 person claimed that the rom is very good and smooth, and by this, you should search for errors and mistakes on your side!

Then maybe you had a corrupted download file. Try to download again, do factory reset and wipe dalvik cache too. Maybe you could try to mount system before flashing. And you may use EXT-4 Formatter before the installation. That would probably help if you can't mount system!

*INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING*
-Download the Matr1xRom zip and put it on your sdcard.
Now you have two options for installing
option 1:
1. Boot into recovery from the bootloader
2. wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache
3. flash the rom zip
4. reboot
5. enjoy!
option 2:
1. go into rom manager
2. press "Install ROM from sdcard"
3. find the rom zip and press it
4. make sure "Wipe data and cache" and "wipe dalvik cache" are selected
5. press OK
6. enjoy!

As for themes go,
try to do some kinda of honeycomb/ics thing, im sure that would come off really great.
Just keep things clean don't over theme things that dont need to be themed. minimal stuff is cool. Be bright, colorful, and bold.. just dont be tacky ;]
miui themes are cool too.

Sorry if I'm reviving a dead thread, but I found this via a compilation thread for Gio ROMs.
Anyway, when I flash this like every other ROM I've flashed (put on SD card root, wipe/factory reset, install .zip file, reboot) it just gets stuck on a black screen with the backlight on (so I know the screen's on ).
Know of any reason for this?

the dev of this was a bit well, ''new to developing'', if I want to say it right(no offence) and he published several topics without any download link, and they all got closed by the moderators, or posted a link that resulted in an bootlooping rom, or not booting at all.

imposible you said? so you must be a noob :laugh: .. it's CM7, ICS AOSP, AOKP in ONE ROM, don't say something before finding out the truth.. and for the OP, you should write Squadzone nick Bigger... it's not easy to make this ROM, i believe he needs more credit..

Not working
I flashed it using pure cm9 and paranoid android. At cm9 my status bar dissapear after flashing either transparent and battery mods. But at paranoid nothing happens

i've just tested this mod on cm9 alpha 8 and it works perfectly.
if it doesn't work check some things:
-have cm9 alpha 7/8 installed
-have system theme
-try to start from the "pure" SystemUI.apk, not a modded one
-after the installation of the apk, open the app "battery bar settings" and check if the bar is enabled

EDIT: i've understand only now XD if you flash another mod after mine, mine won't work because the other mod will delete mine and viceversa

if you overwrite SystemUI.apk with a mod the effect of mine mod will disappear now i will build a new version with also the transparency and after that i will post it here

probably is a your problem because you are the only one with this problem. you have cm9? what version? the mod is tested and working on cm9 beta 1(never tested on beta 2 and 3)

INSTALLATION
The installer "injects" the pngs in the original files of the rom and add the apps in the system. So it should be compatible with different roms of our SGS and different versions
The zip installer uses the Universal Flasher Tool, which is integrated in it. It has two advantages:
Make the two alone wipes needed (cache and dalvik cache)
Make a backup of the files that will be changed, creating an installable zip recovery. If you do not like the theme, you can return to the previous state of the ROM. The backup reinstallable find what UniversalFlasher folder in the sdcard. They are identified by the date on the file name.
To install:
Copy the downloaded zip in internal SD
Restart the phone in recovery
Choose "install zip from sdcard"
