Give them another few months, yeah.
Although I imagine AOKP will be the most stable... always has if I'm honest, K900 waits for something to actually work before implementing it.

If you need stable rom with working camera and no freezes then wait and enjoy 2.3 ROMs...

[Q]Roms

So, since AlphaRev is comming soon(-ish) I would like to get some information about roms. Or some suggestions.
I'm looking for a non-sense rom, that is fast (preferably Gingerbread).
Also; If I install CM7 (GB) will I have to install any custom kernels for overclocking?
Thank you for your help :]
No, CM7 comes with a kernel that supports overclocking by default.
ROM List here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1029318
Thanks for that info.
Concerning your list, I'm looking for some input from other users
Can't really help you there, because the only AOSP (Non - Sense) ROM I have used till date is CM7, both stable and nightlies. Personally, I am very satisfied with it, and would whole heartedly recommend it, but, ROM choice is a personal thing.

What is the main advantage of nightlies over the stable one?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA Premium App
Nightlies integrate many changes, developed over time. They are kind of "unofficial / beta builds", so there's no official support for bugs on those. Thus, nightlies may give new features, but may also have the potential for introducing new bugs.
One example: The nightlies use Android 2.3.4 since quite a while back, but all stable versions are still on 2.3.3. The next stable version will obviously incorporate 2.3.4
Thank you
Guess I'll go for the stable cm7 once AlphaRevX comes.

[Q] Need custom ROM to downgrade HTC One V to Gingerbread 2.3.6

Hi,
I would like to wipe out ICS & Sense 4.0 from my HTC One V and install any stable custom Gingerbread ROM. Is such thing even possible? Any pointers please? I don't need Sense at all in custom ROM. Help appreciated. Thanks.

Won't Jellybean ROM would be too much for specs of One V? I am just fed up with this phone being so slow and almost instantly starts lagging after a month's use. I need something lighter which will make sure this phone will run without noticeable lag.

Ok. Thanks mate. Sorry I am new to rooting and flashing ROM. When I try to search link for steps to install CM9 on HTC One V, I find too many results and can't decide which one is stable with minimum bugs. If you can PM me any link which I can follow to accomplish this, it would be great.
i still recommend CM10(jelly bean)
but still, heres the CM9 link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757323
Jelly bean has project butter. So it's smoother than ice cream sandwich.

official htc one v miui 3.7.19

Hi,
I found htc one v (miui) was update to be 3.7.19 from official link.
http://www.miui.com/download-57.html
Can I flash this to primo u ? it's a new updated version. Will it's same as Rulling or sk8erboy one ?
I guess that from sk8erboy. May be a thread just not updated. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098740
It is the sk8erboy one. Sk8erboy is the maintainer for HTC One V Miui China. So yes it would be safe to flash. Just remember to use the CM10 Hellboy kernel.

Yep :/.
Sk8's MIUI v5 is the most smooth, I also find his HTC Sense based MIUI V4 smooth as well. Paarthdesai's MIUIv4 CyanogenMod 10 based it pretty smooth as well. But most MIUI ROMs are slow on the One V since it's only a mid-range device :/

Sorry for my late response, I have been pretty busy at work.
I dont know how to overclock my phone...
Just what I want is to reduce the lags of my phone either installing a new rom or making a factory reset (but this is my last option)
I tryied to install miui and AOKP but this looks they get into a boot loop...

[Q] Looking for most stable ROM.

The title says it.
I'm looking for best, fully working, or almost fully working ROM for my HTC WILDFIRE S.
Anyone knows a good one which is well optimized and works like a charm with no lags?
Please can some mod close this thread. Read rules and test ROMs yourself. Read op posts and read user reviews.

I'm sorry but this rom isn't stable, and any of new JB rom wouldn't be stable. I tested literally every of them and every has small bugs, and every is pretty laggy. Only stock rom can give you a stability feeling. So I would recommend you Hense Mod.

None ROM is bugfree. If you want, you can wait for AOSP Edition
Which won't be bugfree, too as you said no Rom is bugfree.

[Q] Android Lollipop on HTC One V

Android Lollipop has really improved in all aspects. I would really like to see Lollipop on HTC One V. I run Jelly Bean right now - Primou_Omega v2.4.0-stable 1
1. How can we bring Android Lollipop to HTC One V?
2. Do you think it is worth the time and effort?
3. How epic would it be if could get create a stable version within 60 days?
