Hey, this is a development thread, I think someone better open up a general CM discussion thread.

hold on.....so....after allt eh fuss waiting for sony to update to ics....we already have now a working JB rom for xperia s?
is this still in early stages or is everything working as should be?
i had always said i want to keep this phone stock.....but after waiting ages for sony to sort out their software, i'm thinking i might try this at some stage.
what are the benefits and drawbacks of this rom?
i.e. what is present in this rom that isn't in stock, and vice versa?
(and most importantly of all.....how is battery life?)

If you're going to ask such questions, better stick with stock.
Anyone know if we have to format System before flashing the kernel? And if so how do I do this with fastboot? Is it just the same as data wipe/factory reset in CWM?

From seconf post "before flash it is important to FORMAT SYSTEM
this is not included in updater-script yet
so it has to be done manually"
Do the "kernel.elf" be boot.img in .zip file like CM9?

so....if we want to know anything about the rom we are potentially flashing to our £400 phone......then we shouldn't bother?
i dare say i'm capable of flashing a rom, i was forced to do it many times with my useless wildfire s.....i don't think it's that unreasonable to ask for a few pro's and cons?
e.g. what's the battery life like? do we lose panoramic and 3d camera options? do we lose nfc tags? etc...

Cool , finally official PA 3+.
BTW , if PA 3 has another update before PA 4, will you build it, or is this "the" final build.
Downloading now, will test and report back.
EDIT: Damn, didn't read that external SD mounting doesn't work. Its vital for me.
After boot: new gapps version update "pa_gapps-full-4.3-20130801a-signed.zip ";
If you try to download, message "error, this device don't exists".
Have you to register new oficial device i9000 anywhere?
Thanks, going to taste...
(one final question. What is the wallpaper, that apears in all PA pics?)

If we add more content to Jelly Bean I'll build another time, don't worry. But it's very difficult as we are on the final merge stages of 4.3.
The SD mounting issue, does anyone know if there is any fix for it? I've searched a lot for it and I know CM has fixed it but never found the review on their gerrit... I would rebuild solving that issue mate!
Thanks!

Those are 4.3 GApps so you'll be unable to install them, it's a bit annoying but it's temporal, sorry!
About download, we are adding everything to the servers, it should be solved soon!
The Wallpaper on the first post and the icon pack it's from Goolors, a paid but very nice App.
See you and Thanks!

AOCP 6
Android Open Collective Project
This ROM was ported from the Galaxy S II Skyrocket forums. It has been created by Johnsondr80. He owns all the rights to his work. I just ported this amazing work so we can enjoy it's rich experience on our device. The ROM must be extremely stable and has big performance potential as tested on many devices. I share it as a beta. I do not own an Xperia S so the ROM is in beta in the current stage. Please test and report bugs so I can improve the ROM and bring it to it's fully optimal potential for the Xperia S. It is based on CM10.1 compiled for the Johnsondr80. It has been ported to the Xperia S. The ROM uses RaymanFX's kernel on the unofficial CM10.1 builds that he compiles.
Original ROM for the Galaxy S II Skyrocket here.
Bugs:
:fingers-crossed:Please PM me with bugs. I do not own the device and rely only on testers to bring me bugs. Bugs will be posted here.

This is not a placeholder! Have problem with my net.
As i stated earlier, Download links will be updated in sometime!
Reopened
Will install and try this ASAP but I saw you edited your repo on github an hour ago ? Should I wait for the next version ?
And maybe a tip: we have two AOKP projects here why two if you can combine it ? Wouldn't the development go much faster ?

Could you also change the CWM recovery with TWRP from CM12 ? TWRP was much better for me.
Thanks for your work !
