What's the texture of the skin skinomi like? Is it anything like the tacky feeling of the invisibleshield by Zagg? If so I'm most likely going to stay away from this because the screen will lose its glass like touch and swiping won't feel/operate as smoothly

Poetic is the best case for HTC One today if you want to brag that stunning body of the one But I'm one of those who doesn't care how HTC One looks and just bought it because of the inner parts and software so I really don't mind covering it with a otterbox case

Received the Glacier Commutter case in the mail! Sucks not having the phone yet, but it looks a bit less bulky than I originally thought.
Got the punked, but I'm thinking it might be too flashy for my taste. Definitely feel it isn't going to add much bulk and is very lightweight.

I just spent $36 to have a full body Ghost Armor skin applied...wish I had seen this sale on the skinomi earlier. I'm happy with the job they did putting it on though and I'll have a warranty with GA. I hate putting these on myself.

Note, after reading up on these there is a Note on Amazon that they are WATER based install. I personally won't use that type.
Folks, I had one on the back of my Nexus 4 to protect the glass from scratching. I loved it. Not only protected it like Zagg, it doesn't feel like it at all. Totally worth it. And it was a water based application too.

You're running the new 1.29.401.13 or later firmware? That's supposed to help. You can't be running a custom kernel either; you have to be running stock kernel (for now) to get the touch improvements until HTC releases what was missing from the last source update. If you are already running the latest 1.29 on stock kernel, there's nothing else that can be done at this point, short of trying a different brand of protector. Based on the comments I've been reading it seems as though some screen protectors are much better than others at passing through the human finger capacitance to the buttons. It would appear that the plastic material that some companies are using is interfering with the capacitive sensing of the somewhat insensitive buttons on the One.
Will I'm completely stock so I'm on 1.27

I'm using the Spigen ultra colored too, and I've got fmno problems at all. Concider returning it if you haven't got the 1.29 update or wait untill HTC releases next version of android or new update (maybe around late june?)

Was having the same problem with the Spigen Ultra Crystal until I rooted and updated to a ROM (Android Revolution) with the 1.29 update. With the update the capacitive buttons are perfect.
You might have to just wait it out until you have the official 1.29 update.

Sgp ultra crystal and fosman both made my keys pretty much useless...then I bought "amfilm" invisible on Amazon and the keys haven't given any trouble at all since, they work every time I hit them. Some reviewers for the amfilm are saying the same thing, that their keys work great since switching screen protectors. The amfilm are pretty much exactly like the sgp, only they cost way less and you get 3 for 2.99. But "techmatte", the seller for the amfilm, has a coupon code on the page for the screen protectors that will give you $2 off, so you'll only pay .99 cents for a 3 pack. Worth a shot.

I just edited my post with the link and code for the $2 off....don't let the price fool ya, they are awesome! You can't even tell you have a screen protector on, it's invisible, and it feels just like the glass, your finger glides smoothly.
Oh, and they fit the screen perfect! The seller recently revised them, before they were a little short, about 1mm on the sides, now they are edge to edge. And they have a lifetime warranty!

Yeah I've heard the same thing, that the update fixes the issue. Sprint has their update rolling out now so I'm going to check out their forums, if they have one, and see what people are saying about it and whether it fixed it.

Omg. The experience is so different without a protector. I just checked my amazon and the order was actually 20 bucks so I will return them.
Also. The ultra crystals didn't fit all the way either. You can really notice these protectors because of where the swipe down notification bar is.

Sprint is a different version all by itself. Tmobile ATT and international can all use the same ROMs no problem.
Oh ok. I used to like sprint :/ lol
Tmobile has nicer retail stores though.

I find those 2 1 star ratings ridiculous, I'm thinking they had no idea how to put on a screen protector. I'm a screen protector junky, I've tried eBay junk to sgp glas t and I'm telling you, these are fabulous. Imo anyway, don't come hunting me down if you end up hating them.

The Slimline is pretty cool. I had one for the first gen N7. The quality isn't the best since it will start to fall apart at the ends, but they have a 3 yr warranty. Every time I contacted them, they would send me a brand new case. Can't really beat that... and for $6 shipped ain't bad. I paid like $20 for my first gen.
I just got a black one. The colored ones are like $14, which isn't bad, but I already bought a Portenzo that I plan to use.

Their quality is a hit or miss but they are good on replacements. The first batch had issues on old N7 but the one I bought has been perfect. Been using it for 10 months daily with no issues.

Its only $5.95 with shipping which is cheaper than a foot long samich from Subway, so if it only last 3 months then I'll use the warranty or by a new one. And that's all I got to say about that!
