Repairing headphone jack - Desire General

Hi just want to share how i repaired my phone jack. Since a couple of month i got sounds problem in my headphone and i could not put it deep in the hole. Or it removed itself from jack stopping radio or switching music on speakers ...
I decided to use a stapple as a needle. Switch off the phone and put it in hole. I find lot of dust see the image!
Now it insert very well and sounds work.

Where can i get this speaker? and is it difficult to change? The phone is rooted, and i dont want to unroot it to send it to repair and wait weeks and weeks..
Thanks!
EDIT: This is quite easy. the only thing that need to be removed is the back cover, 5 screws thats it!
Case Closed
Can I ask where you found a new speaker?
Ebay........
i suppose this would be possible... maybe a bit of work. you could even take apart another old phone with a loud speaker (because older phones speakers are louder than modern ones) and replace it with the one in your DHD

HTC One X sound problems

Hi, i've got some problems with my HOX for some time now. The problem is that sound of the main speaker is dissapearing randomly, and it starts working again when i push the back of my phone. So, today i dissasembled my HOX and found that one connector of the speaker is bent. I'm attaching the screenshot to have an advice from you is it have to be this way and could this be causing the sound troubles.

is it safe to bend it back to normal, because i'm afraid it's gonna break.
Just be gentle with it and don't bend it more than required.
Bent it back to normal with tweezers , looks like the sound is back at least for now, now just have to hope that this was the reason of random sound dissapearance.

WiFi antenna BoM

Hi,
I need your help, I bought a used One X in the description was said that the wireless signal was bad, i thought it was the usual problem with the antenna contacts, but when I opened the phone to fix, I found that some body did a terrible job trying to fix the phone.
I have a friend with One X and comparing the two phones I noticed that are some capacitors and resistors missing, but I need the values in order to try to fix the mess.
I any one help me?
Here are the pics:

this isn't normal and it seems to be an hardware issue inside the lense. maybe there is a faulty charge as at least two are effected already.
I'd return it and ask for a new one.
Oh.. i already returned one, but what can i do thanks for help

image should help you if you want to resolder your headphones from CTIA to OMTP. The safest way to do so would be to remove microphone altogether.
The problem was solved on the same day.
It was the defective plug.
