Hey, I'm looking for a calendar app that syncs google calendar and displays the color of the events I place on my browesr.(for exmaple- docotr appointment is red on my brower's calendar I want it to be red on my phone aswell).
Anyone is familiar with such app? is it even possible?

You can change it from your desktop. Log in to Google, click on calendar, and where it has your your calendar name and Tasks below it (could be different on yours). If you select the drop down arrow, you can select a different color. This will sync to your phone also.

Thanx, that answers my question on how to change the overall color on my calendar, but im still looking for a way/an app that gives me diffrent colors for each event like on my brower's calendar.

up.

If you wanted a widget, you could try Simple Calendar widget

No they were right, go via the web to your Google calendar and pick the event and you can change the color of just that event. I've done it before so I know it works. I even have separate calendars with different colors too.

[Q] Default calendar for new events

Hey all,
Is there a way to set the default calendar for new events you create on your phone using the default HTC calendar app?
Back on the ICS when I created a new event I selected the right calendar while creating the event (on the top-left) and after creating one event it would remember which calendar I used and use that as the default one for new events.
Now on JB that doesn't seem to work anymore, so now I keep having to select the right calendar, which I often forget.
Also is there a way to change the color of a calendar? Now it just randomly assigns a color to all the events from a single calendar, but I would like to set it myself.
Thanks in advance.
Hey there.
I'm experiencing the same issue as I'm using the google calendar, but new events get created in the pcsync-calendar every time.
Did you find a solution yet?
[@ colors: If you're using google calendar, you can set the colors over the web at https://www.google.com/calendar ]
Greetings!

The same issue. With every new entry in calendar I always have to change the calendar from default PCSync calendar to gmail.com calendar (PCSync does not sync to google account) even if the PCSync calendar is not selected in visible calendars.
I did not find any solution yet.

The default Google Calendar app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calendar) remembers last calendar used.
But it's not a solution if you want to use stock HTC calendar.

Calendars mirror each other. need advice

The native calendar and one I downloaded called Calendar seem to be in sync with each other regardless of how I set them. I set the native one to my sync with gmail calendar and the new one has a folder/calendar I created. No matter which account I select, the other calendar changes to it. I can't use them as two different calendars. Hope that was clear enough! Any thoughts?

I can't help you directly but have you tried Agenda Widget Plus? It lets you choose which calendars to use (e.g. exchange or google calendars). It's not really a calendar app but has nice widget options
Android basically collapses all calendars into a single view. Depending on the app or widget, you can select which calendars to view, as well as to which calendar a new entry should be saved. The data is kept within each calendar, so if you delete one the other calendars will stay. If you use Outlook, its very much like the overlay view.
Hope that helps clear the confusion.

You should find a "Calendar to display" option right above the scaling option on the main screen when you open a widget. There you can select from which calendar the events for this widget are pulled. This is for the whole widget, a configuration for a single module is not available.
haha thanks. Cant believe i missed that.
How set a date
Add a custom text with the date bb codes

[Q] Widget showing calendar color, not actual event color.

I'm building a Calendar widget with Zooper pro for my Galaxy S3 4.3 with Nova prime.
It's showing date and title for the next 6 events in my Google Calendar. This part works perfectly.
I want each event to be the color of the actual event in my Google Calendar. I'm using a Rich Text field for each event, and the code goes like this:
[c=#C0COLOR#]#C0SEEEE# #C0Sd#/#C0SM# - #C0TITLE#[/c]
The thing is, when displayed on my homescreen, the text appears in the color of the Calendar, which in this case is red. You can have multiple calendars in Google Cal, and you can organize these with colors. But since Im only using one calendar, all my events are displayed as red on my home screen, even though ive made some of the single events green and blue.
I thought #C0COLOR# would get the color from the event, and not the calendar?
Bro can I get the unfinished template I have been tryin to make a calender for a long time

I can't be the only one with this problem?
Does the refference #C0COLOR# work as intended for anyone?

[Q] Trying to display first event from specific calendar

I've been stumped on this one for a while. I'm making a module that displays the first event from a specific calendar.
So far, I've been able to identify whether or not the first event is from that calendar using it's color. However, if the first event in the calendar isn't that color, nothing will display.
Code:
$#C0COLOR#=#ffc2c2c2?C0TITLE$
Is there a way to identify the first event of a certain color (calendar)?

If you only want to display the events from a specific calendar, easiest way would be to select only that one for the widget (option is on the main widget edit screen). Then #C0TITLE# automatically is the next event of that calendar. If you want to display events from multiple calendars, then you sadly are out of luck. There is no build-in way to select a specific event from a specific calendar out of multiple.
If you are proficient enough with Tasker, you might be able to select the event there and then post it to Zooper.

Hmm, that wouldnt be sufficient. I have some experiene with Tasker, but not sure how I would go about doing that. Do you think you could guide me in the general direction?

Sorry but I'm not that good in Tasker myself, so I can't help you with this.
