[Q] E-mail rendering - HTC One X

Hi guys,
In default HTC mail applications, if I receive HTML e-mail (and most of them are HTML ones) fonts used to render e-mail, are really big (huge, enormous...). It looks like I should be able to "zoom out" a lot... but I can't. Has anyone figured out how to make fonts in default e-mail application smaller?
You can see how it looks like on the picture attached.

Others are reporting the same issue. Looks like we have to wait for htc to update the app.

Anyone know of a fix for this problem?
Mainly with forums, works for the first reply but after that it doesn't, I know I can use the Mail app but then its 5 minutes sync not instant push like the Gmail app.

Thanks
i've noticed this too.
a work around, but not an awesome one is to use gmail through the browser, have that open in the background and you can quickly switch between them. not awesome i know.
there are a bunch of things that they need to fix in gmail.
create a calendar event, copy and paste to name my two personal faves.

[Q] Looking for a specific Widget

So I was either dreaming or I actually did see a widget like this in a screenshot around these forums. I can't remember where I saw the picture so I will just have to describe it and hopefully someone knows what it is. Its basically a notification widget that shows your number of unread sms, phone calls, and email messages. But its a completely text based widget so it has a nice clean look like minimalistic text. Any help would be much appreciated.
You were dreaming dude.... But if that was real it would be cool.
Just messin with ya...
MissedIt! is what you saw:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1015752&highlight=missedit
Put it on my Dinc a week ago, now I see there's a new version. Hard to decide how I like the look of it but here's my current MissedIt! layout:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}

[REQ] Kinda sorta like Missed It - does it exist?

I’m looking for an app like MIssed It, but that show just one number on my lockscreen for missed calls/mails/messages.
So that e.g. I have 3 missed mails and 2 messages, the number is (doh) 5 and by pushing the 5 you activate a pop-up screen that shows what you’ve missed linking you to the programs (like mail or whatsapp). Just like Missed It.
Or: can this be done with Missed It?
Example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Yes. This can be accomplished with missed it.
Cool, could you give me a small hint how to do this since I failed..

[Q] Changing SMS thread format?

Hi,
I am using Vijendrah's CM10 JB rom and think its pretty much perfect but would like to know if there is any way of changing how the SMS thread looks so that it is more like the sense 3.5 one (speech bubbles)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I know its not a sense rom and you cant put sense on it and that's not what I am after, just a change in how the messages are displayed without all the over the top software that you can download of play like go sms. I would like to keep the software as light as possible and as near to Vijendrah's as possible.
Thanks for any tips in advance.
Use handescent SMS app from the market.

[APP] request ? or is there a way to ...

Hi all,
one thing that annoys me a LOT on android, is having to pull down the notification, and swipe the notifications for notification I'm aware of (examples : email already read on my computer, calendar notification I already have in mind, etc ...)
I know there only a 1 gesture difference, but I ask anyway
is there an app, or a way to do this ? (this below is a photoshop fake of what I would like )
this function :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
on my desktop
thanks
