Spigen Leinwand - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Hi
I have found a case wich seems great, but I can't find any review or test (appart the one of the official site, like "OMG when I received this case it was the best day ever")
http://www.spigen.com/spigen-sgp-samsung-galaxy-note-leather-case-leinwand-series.html
It seems pretty good... but a little bulky, no ? And maybe to pricy for the quality ?
Besides, according to amazon or wathever, the product weight 227 g (8 onces), which is like 2 times the weight of the GN ! Is it the whole box or just the product ?

Could you make a small review if the case? For example does it have any magnets? Also is it stable enough when used as a stand?

yup thats what i based my decision on. the stand however is a bit tipsy and the case needs some flexing before it will stand properly. other than that, no complaint.

Regarding the stand position could you also place it horizontally rather than vertically as shown in the video?

it works in both portrait and landscape mode, but it is highly recommended in landscape for videos and such because it's super flimy in portait.

What I ment was placing it in landscape mode but more horizontal rather than vertical as shown in the video. To be more accurate I mean using the bigger part as the stand rather than the small one as displayed.

I think what he meant was if he could get more angle when using the flip as a stand.

The case of the 1st post seems to allow more angle, no?
Senr from my device using my finger

sorry I misunderstood. the case you posted has 2 angles. whereas the case I posted has only 1 angle.

To use as dock, as camera support (to timelapse for example), to see tv or videos, simply espectacular.
two days from amazon.com, and a reasonable price.

So now you don't think it's at all too small? Definately no need to go for the Spider Podium Tablet model?

One more question, how well does it fold up (obviously it can fold up) securely and safely for travel in a bag or something... Anyone can upload a pic of it folded up nicely for travel? Do you guys use some kind of pouch for it or just loose?

Nice. Just one thing. It's hard to judge, but from the little info provided there it seems a bit on the small side...
Great find! Just a little worried if its the actual Breffo branded one or just a generic no brand one since its half the price of the amazon ones. Anyone willing to take one for the forum? =D

That's right, the size info does not seem to match what you read in the breffo.com product-info page, for instance:

Portable desktop stands for the Galaxy Note

Thought I'd start a thread where we can discuss portable stands that you can carry with you all the time. This is the one I use and it works just fine with the Note in landscape mode. Link here.

I have a white one of these. JUNK! Can't support Note in portrait. Can't support Note in either portrait or landscape if in Otterbox.
Send me a PM if you are in USA. I'm willing to sell.

Cool. I just tried with the paper clips I have at my desk, but they are way too small.
What is a "butterfly paperclip" ? Can you post a photo of one in its original form?
I'm thinking of either this one:

or the one with a longer arm:

I have the icarpus which is pretty nice. Works great with the note.
And yea, that ebay stand was a complete dissapointment.

I use this as portable stand

They hold Note very well.
Don't see reasons to spend much. The cheaper stands are quite satisfactory.
I love it...

Are there any wallet cases with kickstands

Im looking to get a wallet case for my gs3 and a kickstand would be a bonus. any options available? Ive seen so very nice wallet cases already but none that can sit upright.
A lot of them stand horizontal. Do you mean in the vertical position?

Mateo has a nice option if you're not looking to spend a whole lot, I think they may even have it in other colors. However, if you want something more premium, this is the only way to go http://www.accessorygeeks.com/zenus...-leather-diary-case-id-slots-navy-bu-gld.html

Sure thing, whatever works for you. The zenus has a kickstand that you actually pull out instead of using the whole case as a kickstand - you also have the standing/vertical position by opening the cover door and using it as a prop. Good luck!

ahh i see the kickstand. I thought it was just a belt loop or something since it doesnt mention the kickstand in the description. hmm the color is kind of wild but i like this case a lot
This is a flip type case. Not sure I would consider it a wallet one since I don't think it holds anything but your phone. But it is able to stand vertically. I wasn't exactly sure what you were looking for.

[Q] recommended slim case with no S-Pen troubles

I had two cases already,
a 360 case and a slim leather with magnets.
the 360 was very convenient for standing positions with alot of options, but was too big.
the leather was very slim and comfort for holding and taking away, but the angles for positions were lacky and the magnets are messing up with my S-Pen and that's unacceptable for me. The tablet is 90% for studying (I write on it as notebook) and I have to have it working..
Do any of you perhaps found some good cases with fine viewing angles and positions but yet slim and light?
I only care for 2 viewing angles:
~80 degree, a standing one for watching, it doesn't have to be super stable at that one
~30 degree, for writing, this one must be stable.
I'm willing to invest few extra bucks for a fine case.
please share what have you already found, I don't wanna waste more money and time for 'testing'.. Asking the sellers is pointless, they barely speaks English and 100% don't understand what the freak do I want from them
Thanks alot ahead!

Also, have you found one of these (especially the Moko one that caught my eyes) on eBay?
I'm not from USA, so amazon is pretty useless for me, and I can't find it on eBay aswell

It Does Bounce some. Also if you stand it up it will try to slide out of the Clips. I put a piece a two sided tape on the back across the top to prevent this..
But in either position i can Use the s-pen. I like the case because its simple but protects the screen from scratching when out and About.
I agree - in the position shown, I have no problem using the S-Pen.

Safe Covers

I've used an original Samsung keyboard cover so far but I'd like to switch to a cover whose front flap folds out of sight to form the rear support.

I recall there was some concern that several auto-wake covers were causing issues with the digitizer, borking the accuracy and sensitivity of the S-pen.
Have any covers of the above sort been found safe?
Been using this one from day 1 without any problems:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01BWKZSUS/
Truth also be told, I don't use the pen as much as I expected.
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, one day's use isn't much evidence to bet on. See https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s3/accessories/beware-auto-sleep-tab-s3-t3625213

I've been using both the Samsung keyboard cover and the Composition Book cover since Aug 2017 zero issues. I use the composition cover when I know I will only be taking notes with the S pen and not typing.
