[I9000] TWRP Theme (Mackay Kernel) updated 25 Jun 2013

TWRP Theme​!!! READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, THESE ZIP ARE NOT MEANT TO FLASH FROM RECOVERY !!! ​
Here is the first TWRP theme for Samsung Galaxy S (I9000)​​
Installation Instructions:
1. Download themexxxx.zip and rename it to ui.zip (links are in second post)
2. On SD card in the TWRP folder and create a new folder named "theme" (all characters in lower case)
3. Copy ui.zip to the theme folder
4. Reboot phone in TWRP and enjoy the new look!

Very nice all these themes!

To see how it was done, I was amused to transform the 'x_black_ui' (original blue) in green and red ... if you're interested, here!
- x_black[green]_ui theme

franzyroy - I never had any issue if someone uses any of my stuff till he tell that he has used it and mate you done a wonderful job so pls dont say sorry.
I think this is the best thread for me and even best in i9000 as you see the starting comments are only from big guys like kasper, bejda, rodman01, franzyroy all are well know name in i9000 forum. I dont think any other thread has all such users in one place....I am delighted to see...

Just download the files and flash through CWM Recovery. Download links and screenshots are given below.
Before flashing make the backup of original fonts also a Nandroid backup is always recomended in case of something goes wrong.

You can see the difference in bold and bolditalic latters easily.

But my files are differnt also the fonts you are talking about have no support for italic and bolditalic latters.

Its a recovery bug. You can try manual installation by extracting files from fonts folder in this zip and place them in system/fonts folder with permissions( rw-r--r-- ) or ( 0644 ). Also I am providing a link of another font file can you flash that and provide me feedback ?

Your fonts are so nice but unfortunately they don't support Unicode text

Know what?i just copy and paste it in system/fonts and give the right permission..

I looked around for some nice TWRP themes in 480X800 resolution but..it wasn't that easy to find. They were all for older versions or not in my taste.
Next theme out is miui inspired, but with original twrp layout this time.

My first attempt to make a theme, so it might not be "perfect", but it's "good enough" and it works fine.

Thanks to @nathajoz for the base-ui.zip
Rename to "ui.zip" put it in /sdcard/TWRP/theme.
If you don't have a "theme"-folder in there, just create one.
Reboot to recovery and it loads automaticly.
Works on all devices with 480X800 running twrp 2.6.XX-2.6.3.0.

[RECOVERY] CWM/TWRP/STOCK [DB][ALL i8190 Models]

I've had a close look on the holo theme and it's not that easy to port as I wished it was. With me, having three kids and all, that project would go on forever. Haha.
I'll try something else and hope it turns out ok. Any ideas are welcome, just hit me up in a PM.:highfive:

The zip has been modified with the addition of files try again, if not then try installing philz recovery I do not use other recovery that philz
