HTC Conference Speaker BS P100 - HTC One X

Thinking of picking one of these up for video chats, anyone got one and have any comments on speaker / microphone quality for 1 or more people?
Looking for louder, more clear audio than whats built into the handset speaker

need your opinion

hello freinds,
i've been reading a lot about the desire and i decided to buy one.
one thing that i can't find an answer to , is how about the call quality and the earpiece volume.
i work in the most noisy place the you can imagine, and now i own pro2 and it's really really great.
so comparing to pro2 , how's the earpiece volume??
and how's the sound quality in general
please advice
thanks a lot
i didnt have a Pro 2,
But in Comparison to my N97, the Call Quality seems to drop a little from my Nokia,
Nothing Major, But from the moment i put that phone down to picking this one up i noticed,
now when i listen its crystal clear,
The sound that comes from the speakers is good, but its too loud for the speakers and you get that horrible noise when you have the phone on Full Volume,
Leave it down by one and your OK,
Mic i find was good my GF said she could hear me very clear,
All in All Very good Hope it helps a little

Lumia 900 - audio quality?

Can any owner of new Lumia tell me about audio quality? Does it sounds better than Lumia 800? Nokia said that they've changed something in hardware in 900, and since I didn't found any review that covers audio I hope you will help me.
Your audio review is here from WMpoweruser.com
never heard the 800, the audio is okl, not better than my DVP. still need to check the headphone jack output. Its sad to know the quality, seeing that Nokia was known for its loud audio. Why remove something good that you were known for.
It's been fantastic. A little off topic, but my reception is much better as well. I've never had reception in my house or my office that was stable, now I'm rocking 2-4 bars. Nokia ftw.
Speaker sound is loud but it has that tin effect.
Sent from my Lumia 900 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
whats with sound through earphones?
Lumia 800 had problems with sound quality before update.
Lumia 900 has so far gotten nothing else than praises for it's sound quality. Talking about sound through 3.5mm jack.
I made two test calls on both the 900 and the Titan 2. Both sounded loud and great (and without the background crackle of the Titan 1).
so the consensus seems the qudio quality is better/improved vs the 800? is there confirmation anywhere from nokia that hardware has indeed been modified/adjusted to improve things?
Speaker phone is loud and clear. Over earphones plenty loud and clear. I find the ear piece sounds a bit crap. More sound travels straight up than into your ear. A bit muffled as well. I'm thinking of swapping for another to be sure it's not my copy.
I found that in-call sound is dependent on the placement of the phone to your ear. Sometimes the sound will be quiet and I can move the phone a tiny bit and suddenly its plenty loud. Its like the earpiece speaker is super-directional.

Good to hear that the speaker is at least loud and clear, since the past couple phones i've owned (nexus one, galaxy nexus, omnia 7) had pretty quiet speakers. Still considering purchasing this phone, so that at least helps the decision a bit.
Lumia
Actually I find my Lumia 900 far the best from the phones I have used within last year. I can compare to Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, Lumia 800, BB9900 and iPhone 4s. Lumia is closest to iPhone 4s considering earpiece loudness and 3.5 output quality. Galaxy Nexus for example was really poor. In loud environment even on max level I had a problem sometimes to understand. Nokia is loud, on max could be a bit clearer but OK. In terms of 3.5 output, I found it excellent quality, similar to iPhone. Very Good actually, far better then Galaxy Nexus.

Loudspeaker Loudness?

So guys, how's the loudspeaker on this device? The voice loudness and clarity is good for call conference on loudspeaker?
Yep very loud and good speaker in the earpiece.
It gets pretty loud. Weird thing is the loudspeaker is right where the earpiece is, which helps so you don't have to turn your phone onto the glass to get the best sound from the back of it.
Seriously thinking about getting the JBL Moto mod for it.

Bottom speaker noticably louder than top speaker

I watch a lot of videos on YouTube of people reviewing things, and I noticed that voices sound louder and clearer through the bottom speaker, is this problem specific to my pixel 2 xl or do any of you have the same issue?

It is not specific to your phone.

Also the the top speaker is off when you receive a phone call( ringtone) and you will enable the speaker during a conversation. Why??

If I'm not mistaken, that goes back to before smartphones. Way back, there was a phone model that used the ear speaker for the ring and it was really loud. Actually rings in general used to be much louder than now, though there was a separate speaker for sound on most phones. There was some issue where people were trying to talk and having it ring right in their ear. I can't recall the exact issue, other than it was in the media.
So basically, they don't use the ear speaker for the ring so that people don't get a loud ring while they have their ear up to that speaker.

With my Nexus 6 this was not the case.. and I believe that it is very easy for a smartphone to understand and shift to the bottom one when you talk one the phone.
Well it isn't a legal requirement, just a design practice. Doesn't surprise me that a Chinese company would decide to do things differently. Proximity sensors weren't on phones until fairly recently.
It's weird as the quitet speaker on my device is the one below the navigation bar.

Question Call quality of G40 fusion

Can anyone who actually used this phone report on call quality of this G40? How is clarity and volume of earpiece? How speakerphone? Microphone quality for the other party? Network reception?

All good
Don't worry
Moto is not like some brands who cripple proximity sensors or sound quality through update
