Has anyone had any luck finding the white galaxy nexus housing for the Veizon GNEX? I have been looking for weeks and all I have been able to find is the white battery door cover.

You ought to wait until the white CDMA/VZW version is released before searching. Or else it's a futile search.

That's what I thought... apparently we've seen white battery covers, yet no white casings just yet. Count me in as one of those in the waiting party.

I'm starting to believe that the white battery covers for the Verizon GNEX are not real even though they fit perfectly... because the same seller had the GSM version where the letters where in white as the lte version but the official GSM battery cover has the letters in grey

first off, its an AMOLED panel, not LCD. Different technologies
But anyways, most people are pointing out that these phones are not completely identical inside, and they're not easily interchangeable if you were to buy a GSM screen and try to put it on a Verizon device, for example. Lots of people have tried it, and from what I see it's not just plug-and-play.

The actual panel is the same. How it connects to the phone and the connector/pin placement is different.

Pic of the crack? I think I may have bent (if that's possible) part of the screen. Its a black squiggly line on the front. And when reflected in light, it looks bent.

Yea I didn't think so thought I would ask tho I was thinking I would get a housing and replace it myself but I am worried it won't fit right and to take my phone apart like that doesbt sit well with me

Ya I wanted it from google easier to return for warenty than from amazon maybe a dumb idea but seemed like a better idea ANYWAY I already ordered it and will be here Tuesday so is cool I will live with it, while I am here has anyone actually replaced the housing on the US google 399 gsm phone ????????????????

I know im just asking for those that have replaced it with a white one what was there experience Any problems any thing I should watch out for that type of thing I have not even got the phone yet so I am not doing it any time soon I'm just wondering if it is worth it..... I know it looks cool but if I have a volume button that doesn't work or some strange gap between my screen then I don't want it you know??? That's what I am asking ?????

I know dude I have been around xda for a minute but while I have have people's attention, those treads in accessories tend to be mis infornened and hard to fallow with all the useless post this thread is new and like to just ask advice and see what others experiance is that's all man no need for the guide him to the light quote its not nessasary for this thanks

nothing at all.. its a shame that there aren't much accessories out yet.. remember when wifey pre-ordered her iPhone 5, there were plenty accessories available weeks before the delivery date.. disappointed..

i asked tech21 regarding the cases and SP. they said there are currently no plans to make these for nexus 5 at the moment. hmm.
just to let you guys know, bell store in yorkdale mall has the flip tech21 cases in stock for 34.99

I was for a little while. After a week or so of use, the buttons feel much more tactile and I can actually feel a slight click when pressing them.

A friend of mine got the case a few days ago an the clear back already has quite a bit of scratches on it which is why i decided against it. It is a nice lookin case tho
All cases with clear backs will get scratched. It all depends on how much you take care of it.
