Same problem as my own compiles. Display is all yellow.
What compiler do you use? I'm thinking this may be a compiler problem since g1011999 said the source worked with minimal modifications.
*The changed boot logo was fine by the way.

i have used the 4.4.1 arm-2010q1 toolchain... as the stock kernel seems to be compiled using the same...
btw if adb works can u please check if the acpu freq table is updated with OCed CPU freq? (the sysfs interface)[available frequencies]
btw i noticed that crc7.ko and pcbc.ko are also compiled during build process... do we need to insmod these?

Uhm...I'll pass on the checking part. I'm reaaaaaally uncomfortable with any overclock so I just looked at whether the display on your kernel was fine or not and rebooted immediately.

well, hard to say... from what read the nVidia chips are not that great for overclocking... also we need to understand that this device has 4 cores (+one companion core + GPU cores)... so the thermal cap is already low and the chips may not be tolerant to high OC...
lets see, till i get the kernel sources in hand, i cant say how much i can push this chip...

The GPU is not much better at the moment than the Adreno 220 in my SensationXE.
But i`m a bit concerned in the Heat development.
The thing heats up around the camera area when stressed.
And when u need to make a call......, It`s getting hot around the ears.
But hey that`s the price we pay for power....

the stock firmware i have is signed with keys for developer (red) devices... even if u have the full FTF the bootloader on retail devices will not accept it...
hence unlock bootloader (if possible) and enjoy
Doom, you are the best! Thanks!

A lot of my free time has gone into patching/testing this kernel/features integrated in this kernel. If you use my modified kernel source in parts or in its entirety, I kindly ask you mention its origins and to send me a github pull request or PM whenever you find bugs or think you can help improve my kernel hack further. This way the entire community will truly benefit from the spirit of open source.

Thanks DooMLoRD, I'm going to unlock bootloader first before installing this. And I'm hoping this to sync up with v5 like on the Z that you just did
Thanks for this. Your efforts in the Sony Dev department is mucho appreciated
I had problems with unlocking bootloader, my internal SD went bonkers, took me a while to fix it. But it's worth it, with faux123 kernel enhancement project I could lower voltages and downclock GPU speeds when gaming. It's running MUCH cooler now when gaming Thanks again DooMLoRD for porting this over to ZL. I just hope the next 700mV voltage tables would come here too
Waiting for this
@DoomLord i am great fan of your work for xperia devices
And now when Xperia ZL has a DoomKernel for it I can seriously think of buying it

I flashed your advanced stock kernel in order to update to cwm 6.0.3.0, and then flashed your doomkernel 3.0. But your doom kernel did not.get applied. Tried 3 times. Twice with a dalvik wipe, and once without. And neither time does it install. It flashes properly (or so it seems), but upon reboot it leaves me.wwith.the advanced stock kernel still.

I don't expect it would be this quick to update! Kudos to you DooMLoRD
SIO and wheatley work well by the look of it, but in faux123 kernel enhancement app when I force the GPU to run fullspeed with performance governor it just locks up and reboot
Anyhow should I enable mpdecision on your kernel?
Cwm flash worked for V6. No need for fastboot.

Ah I see, I have guessed so since you don't mentioned them in the changelog. I just leave it as it is.
@DooMLoRD
This might be not the right thread but I thought the best would be to ask a well known kernel developer. I currently having an Acro S and I'm considering buying either an Xperia Z or Xperia ZL. Is there any difference between these 2 models. E.g. would it be possible to run kernels and roms developed for one on the other without any adaptations?
Thanks

Kcal is still not working in latest version.
Only Rgb is working.
No saturation , contrast or value is working.
Tried via both given app and Synapse.
Kindly look into it.
Thanks for your work.

Are you planning to make a kernel for the z1c

Soft problem
i updated rom from 2.1 to 3.0 and when i turn on my z1 it restarts immidietly at sim unlock screen

Hi, I appreciate the rom and the kernel. Runs solid and I love the additional governors. Awesome job with double tap also, I know its more battery consuming, but still love it hehe.
Would there be a possibility to have a version that just uses the stock logo rather than the customised one? wanting a completely stock look. Thanks alot for looking into this.
just to let you know...
You missspelled Kernel in the Header. You wrote Kerel.. Cheers
Hi i am unable to access any recovery via reboot menu and pimp my z1 app force closes . Im using C6903 stock 157 and latest kernel
works on C6943 model ?

Hi when I try to boot to recovery from reboot menu it reboots to kernel bootsplash then shows black screen then a black screen for a few seconds then bootsplash appears again and device boots to system
i should install this kernel first and then after this install the rockz1k rom ? or first the rom and after this the kernel ?

Normally it's the rom then kernel. If you do it the other way around, the kernel in the rom will just overwrite the one you flashed.
