[FYI] google.ca/nexus now showing Galaxy Nexus!

As the title says, http://www.google.ca/nexus now shows the Galaxy Nexus instead of Nexus S. Also, Canada now listed in the drop down menu!
wow please take that alert off the title. this info isnt even remotely close to being important.

The link doesn't work for me either. Type "Nexus Canada" or something similar in Google search and use the link it gives from there and you'll see at the bottom there are selections for Canada English and French.
http://www.google.ca/nexus is working fine for me here, in Canada...
I'm happy to see that they've finally added Canada to the list... I was starting to get worried.
Does anyone have confirmation of the post that claims Bell will be getting this phone on Nov. 14? I would love to find this to be true!

Haven't heard any news about a Nov 14 release on any site other than here. The guy who claims it hasn't made any replies regarding that either so it's pretty unlikely to happen. It'll be great if it does though

The big Canadian carriers (Rogers, Bell and Telus) use bands compatible with AT&T. Some smaller ones like WIND Mobile use bands compatible with T-Mobile. But doesn't a "petaband" phone mean the Galaxy Nexus would work on both? (someone please confirm or correct me on that)
Yes. Pentaband means it carries the 1700 band aka aws. The other 4 are 850/900/1900/2100.
I invented cyberspace. You're trespassing.
Can we get some confirmation that it actually is coming on the 14th - a link from a credible source?
Until then, I remain skeptical.

This phone is pentaband. It works on AT&T (so Canadian carriers) AND on T-mo.
If you're ever worried then just look at the official spec sheets. Its going to work on any GSM carrier in the world pretty much.

Is the white galaxy nexus pentaband?

I want to buy it in white, but it must have 4g on tmo.

I think that was user error on their end. Keep in mind that pentaband does not mean the 42mbps that Tmo has.

Anything can be said on the internet. It doesn't mean it's true.
That's like saying a iPhone 4S Black can't support 3G on AT&T but a White version can. It's the same thing, just a different color. That's all.

[Q] can verzion galaxy nexus be unlocked to work in Dubai or etc?(answered)

so hi guys i am new in this nexus forum the question is
would my new soon coming Verizon Samsung galaxy nexus work on any other carrier then Verizon or any other country like Dubai (mainly uae)?
i have heard that if you call Verizon they unlock it for gsm networks worldwide!
here are few website which unlock the phone for you!! has any one tried them? they give unlock codes please see!!
http://www.samsungimeiunlock.com/samsung-galaxy-nexus-unlock
http://www.unlockallcellular.com/united-states-verizon-samsung-galaxy-nexus-np-196146.html
thank you very much for your help!!!!!
No. Verizon galaxy nexus will only work on cdma networks, it has NO GSM radio.
Other phones are capable of being unlocked for GSM but not the galaxy nexus.
You should have bought a GSM one.
Is it too late to cancel the order?

The sprint or Verizon galaxy nexus can NOT be used on GSM.
They cannot be flashed to run on GSM, they cannot be hacked to run on GSM and I'm pretty sure even divine intervention wouldn't help them run on GSM.
To sum up, a cdma galaxy nexus doesn't work on GSM.

Read his first response.
Then read his second and compare the info he offered in relation to the OP.
Dubai has no cdma carriers, ergo, sprint, boost vzw, whatever are not relevant.
I was clarifying for the op in case there was any confusion.

I think it not support 4G, because China dose not have any 4G network.
Its now on Samsung's official page: http://www.samsung.com/cn/consumer/mobile-phones/galaxy-note/galaxy-note/GT-N7102RWDCHN
Don't expect that N7102 will support 4G, China mainland won't have a commercial FDDLTE until 2015 at least
You can find these on ebay search foe N7100 dual sim..
So what are the frequencies that this model works? Does anyone knows the price in USD?

[Q] Verizon lte 4g Samsung Nexus sch-i515

Hi guys new to the forums i did alot of searching and researching but just cant figure out a solution. I purchased this phone as a replacement to use in canada on the bell mobility network when i first recieved the phone i went to bell and tested with there sim card and the phone would not connect, so after being dissapointed i went home and downloaded and installed the Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.1 and unlocked and rooted the phone hopping this was my solution after this i headed back to the bell store and tested again still no luck I am hopping someone has any ideas for me i really would like to get this phone working
thanks
From what I understand, Bell is a GSM network correct? Well, Verizon is a CDMA carrier. The SIM card in our i515 is only for LTE. That's it. It won't work on Bell, I'm pretty sure you need an unlocked GSM Nexus for that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Bell Canada is not a CDMA carrier, you bought the wrong model, research first next time.

id like to know where you found that? if its from bell's website, you need to ask them how to flash a CDMA phone to their network.
if its not from their website, uh yeah... they're pretty much GSM only from what i know of them
EDIT: you found that information not from their website. here's the info you shouldve read: http://support.bell.ca/Mobility/Net..._phone_or_smartphone_work_on_the_Bell_network
oh well im guess im pooched its the internal electronics that are not compatible i was hoping the unlocking and rooting would do the trick

No... The CDMA Nexus will only work on Verizon. I believe some of the very small carriers will work but don't depend on it. I think Rodgers may have a chance, but VZW is very tight about its phones

Its all about what frequencies the phones radio has. My old incredible 2 had a different radio and could go to cricket, yet my nexus can't get to any other because of the fact that there's more than one CDMA frequency.
