Hi, does anyone know if i can flash the EURO 2.3.6 ROM on an MB632(MOTOROLA OEM VERSION UNLOCKED) with usa bands, i'm in venezuela and on DIGITEL which uses the 900mhz band for 3G, and i can't use 3g because the phone or radio does not support it, i would like to know if anyone knows if the phone is harware capable of using the 900mhz band. Thanks.

Flashing Motorola Pro Plus(Pro +) MB632/ME632 ELWAY firmware in detail
For all those who wanna update their Moto pro plus with the latest and last firmware updates which is elway plus 2.3.6 gingerbread firmwares
Here is the link to download respective firmwares what so ever country you belong to : droidevelopers.com/showthread.php?t=12879
And also download latest Motorola ADB drivers from : motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481
And RSD lite 5.3.1 from : datafilehost.com/d/33dce367
Once your all done downloading all the 3 requirements Install RSD lite. Extract your firmware into a folder in your PC.
Install moto ADB drivers.
Do not connect your phone yet.
Turn Off your Phone. Hold "R" & "M" & power ON and do not let the R & M buttons until Android with a triangle is shown.
Now hold Volume up and down together which will take u to android system recovery.
Do wipe data/Factory reset and wipe cache partition. To navigate use Volume button and to select use Enter button.
Once done reboot phone and immediately hold volume down.
Note: Do not use volume up. Using volume down scroll to fastboot and then press volume up to select.
Now connect your phone to PC using USB cable.
Let windows install all the required drivers. Wait till installation in completed.
Run RSD lite.
In RSD lite Open file name rsdlite which is a xml file in your firmware folder.
Once selected check below were your phone model and connection status is displayed..Status should be "connected".
Just click the start button and sit back.
It would take approx 5 to 8 min to complete..and once its complete phone will reboot by itself..
If you find fastboot error in the middle of flashing process dnt panic .,,just remove battery and turn it on by holding volume down and go to erase user data and volume up...follow screen instruction...and press volume down again go to fastboot,,
download new firmware again possible belonging to other county,,,and repeat the flashing process again ...it will be all good,,:good:

I have a so called Engineering Sample,
im german, so flashed it with 5.5.1Q-110_ELW-TA-41-release-keys-signed.Retail-en-DE,
i did everything as described by Deekx,
wipe data/cache etc. and then flashing via fastboot/RDS Lite ...
Motorola Logo appears, Android Logo is coming up too, and then all that i see is the lock screen which i cant control becouse the touchscreen of my device is not working anymore :/
I´ve read about this problem at different places, but found no solutions ...
does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? :/

I have a Motorola Pro+ and it just crashed, all I can see is the M logo and when I try to put it on recovery mode the display stays in black without the "hazard" logo and does not react no matter what I do, the only thing I can do is to put it on fastboot mode but I don`t know that to do then! I have a problem with my MB632 (o2 from UK)
When I power up, the phone stops/freeze at Red Motorola logo (only removing the battery helps).
* M + R + Pwr - does not work
* Vol-+ Pwr - acces to menu: fastboot, Reboot, Erase USERDATA, Qualcoom Flash, Exit
I used RSD Lite to upload the new firmware: 5.5.1Q-110_ELW-TA-41-release-keys-signed.Retail-en-DE (olny this link work)
All went well until i get message like: "Please manually power up this phone."
But I can't do this (the screen appears red logo motorola) :/

On the Samsung Firmwares site I saw a lot of different firmwares.
What firmware would be best for my i9000 (8gb EU model on T-Mobile Netherlands)?
If there is a better firmware, why should I upgrade? Or is better to wait for Froyo?
To change firmware do I need to root the device?
I also read stuff about recovery kernel, do I need to do that first?
Also do I need Odin or do I need another app for firmware upgrading?
What lag fix app do I need?
A lot of n00b question... But I hope someone can help me out.

Hey,
JF3 is the latest official Firmware for your device.
All other firmwares which you saw on the website are leaked firmwares, means they are not officialy released by samsung.
There are already leaked froyo firmwares, but jit is broken and they are more or less in alpha stage, so i wouldn't update to froyo atm. If you want froyo, you should wait for the official release in september.
I recommand JM2, its the most responsive and smooth firmware, in my opinion. JM5 is also very good. but keep in mind, they're both leaked.
To flash a new firmware you need odin, there is a tutorial, just check the stickies in this section.
You dont have to root your device to flash, but if you still want to, there is also a tutorial.

M is not a official code for a month.
JF = Year (J) / Month (F) , Release-Date of Firmware

The best firmware right now (but this is subjective) is JM5 if you ask me. It is not official.
You can wait for froyo but JM5 is a massive improvement to JF3 already.
You don't need to root to install firmware.
You don't need custom recovery kernel either .
Firmware upgrading is done in odin.
With JM2 or JM5 you don't really need a lagfix because the phone will be fast enough without. Otherwise both RyanZA and Chainfire's fixes are simple and effective.

higher number in the end means newer firmware it goes from 0 or 1 -9 and then from a-z
a= 10

Just tried the 3 buttons and I got in recovery mode (when pressing volume up) and got in download mode (when pressing volume down).
I can see 4 options: reboot, apply sdcard:update.zip, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition
Also I see the Android with a yellow triangle.
What does the wipe cache partition do? Of course it wipes cache. ;-)
But what is the use of it?
Do I need to flash all 3 TAR files? (CODE, CSC, MODEM)
Code is probably the OS itself, Modem is radio rom but what is CSC?
Anyone?

If some of you want this, I found it with google search. Is version I8350XXLD1 Plus Poland branded and you will not be able to developer unlock it since only kk4 with diag v1104 can be unlocked with windowbreak. For me is working without any problems. Google translate the page to create an account on the site. Here is the link

Hmmm... why not? I flashed about 4-5 weeks ago a samsung flash i677 rom ZTOKL1 (Brazilian branded i think) on my omnia and everything worked without any problems. They are basically identical. Do not know what to say for shure.... If it worked for me, why wouldn't work for you in the oposite dirrection?!
So you're saying that I will be installing a ROM for a country outside the USA? Does this mean internet sharing will work for me since AT&T has it disabled. Will this not cause problems with my AT&T Straight Talk SIM card?

Download Samsung I8350 Omnia W Firmware Package.
- Download USB Drivers.
- Download I8350 Update Tool.
- Extract Firmware Package and Update Tool.
- Extract USB Drivers and install them then reboot your PC.
- Run Samsung I8350 Update Tool and check Normal option at the upper right corner.
- At Select image section check these: PDA, CSC download, Phone, Eboot, Phone Boot.
- Now you have to select the Firmware files like this:
PDA: PDA_I8350XXKK4_REV0.nb0
CSC: CSC_I8350SERKK4.csc
Phone: PHONE_WEMBLEY_16002402_open_KK1_rev00_RC1.bin
Eboot: EBOOT_I8350XXKK4_REV0.eb0
- Put the Phone into Download Mode: ( Volume Up Key + Camera Key + Power ).
- Connect USB cable to Phone and PC and install needed drivers.
- If all is OK then the Update tool will detect Phone's Com number.
- Click Start button to update the phone.
- Wait till the Update Tool give you this message : Download Done.
- Disconnect Cable from Phone and wait about 5 minutes till the phone finish updating CSC file.
- After the phone fully on you can do Full Reset by Code: *2767*3855#.
NOTE: Majority of the users reported that this flash tool/firmware/procedure ain't working. But give it a try and report your findings....

Basically, this whole Flash Process doesn't work....until unless you can befriend the Windows Phone guy at Samsung Service Center and steal the WP7 Flashing Software they use for Omnia W...

I have flashed every firmware that I found on sammobile.com (4 firmwares), the new LD1 firmware and also takechiiii firmware KL1 Brazil branded(000-BR) wich is for i677(identical to omnia w). The only unlockable firmware are the kk4 with v1104 diagnosis.
Drivers are those from tsar3000.com or sammobile I don't actualy remeber. Flashed on laptop packard bell with windows 7 on board. I have the Omnia W buyed on second hand from some guy here in Romania that was initialy branded Vodafone Italy.

Can anyone post link for a firmware for Omnia M too. PLeease i really need it as there is no other way to unlock it.
I am trying to flash a i677 att samsung flash with the brazilian ZTOKL1 rom. I got the firmware downloaded and I got the i8530 flasher and I installed the usb drivers for omnia W from tsar3000 website . When I put the phone in download mode and plug the phone into my computer, it won't detect on my pc nor on the flasher software. Also if I boot up the phone as normal and plug it in,,, the phone will detect and Zune will pop up. Any idea's how I can get the phone to detect while in download mode? I have windows 7 64 bit. I have been extensively searching online but there is very vague information online in how to flash a ZTOKL1 rom on to the i677 samsung.

I did mange to get a Download message to appear on the screen when all three buttons were pressed the other day and I think this is the ODIN? down-loader
My issues is finding the right ROM. I have found two on the internet
N7100XXDMC3
N7100XXDMB2
But my phone says that it has:
N7100BUDMD1
The two above seem to be from March this year and I can remember that before I rooted I did up grade from Android 4.11 - 4.12.
So how do I find the exact baseband version as there is no sign of a download for:N7100BUDMD1

It shouldn't matter what firmware you download as long as it is for Vodafone UK. Provided you return to full stock, you'll be able to update to the latest firmware provided through Vodafone. Baseband name is different from firmware name afaik. If you can bring up more info on the firmware, they should also show baseband/modem version too.

Note, there are no official 4.2.1 roms. Samsung confirmed it will skip it straight to 4.3 and there only is the leaked firmware as of yet

In a word, translating I need to get the required Android software to upload TWRP Recovery, and to perform rooting, and to Update the Android System by LineageOS Android, because the current version of Android is not enough for me to comfortably use.

Since your bootloader is already unlocked you can skip the steps explaining how to do that; just download all the files noted in the beginning of the post and then follow the instructions for flashing them to your phone. Worked perfectly for me.

But in the manual it is stated that Android software from outside EUR / Europe is required - it cannot be the current version, i.e. it must be Android software for the Singapore Region or for the USA. I have downloaded Android MarshMallow 6.0 for the Singapore Region.

And you before uploading LineageOS Android - what version of Android software did you have - from which region of the world?
I don't have the original Bootloader unlock key - according to the official method.
What should I do if I have an unlocked bootloader, but I do not have this file, the original key that was downloaded when the official method to unlock the bootlader was still available? What am I supposed to do now?

You said in your original post your bootloader is already unlocked, yes? Then you do not need to pay attention to the instructions in that link for how to unlock it.
Download the files listed under 1) DOWNLOAD --------------------- in that post I linked you. If you want LineageOS follow the appropriate thread to the Lineage files. Put all the files you downloaded onto micro SD card and put in your phone.
Skip to the part about the commands for flashing the TWRP recovery you downloaded to your phone. Then follow directions under 4) FLASH ANDROID, GAPPS AND MAGISK ROOT -------------------
It does not matter what region your H815 software is from since the H815 is not region locked. I have done it from multiple european and asian versions personally.
Search XDA here for SALT/ UsU thread, it will have the tools you need.

I sincerely ask you to send me the latest version of the SALT / UsU tool - please send me the link to download this SALT / UsU. Personally, I use a Laptop with Microsoft Windows 10. Should I prepare somehow - ie ... should I have a 64 GB USB drive Memory to create a bootable USB drive - to boot SALT / UsU - from a 64 GB PenDrvie USB stick? Ok so I'm downloading the latest SALT / UsU version as an ISO file. Then I will create a bootable PenDrvie USB 64 GB. Then it will write to you because I am doing it first in LG G4 H815 via SALT / UsU tool. From the depths of my heart, please help me.

Nie ma znaczenia, z jakiego regionu pochodzi oprogramowanie H815, ponieważ H815 nie jest zablokowany w regionie. Zrobiłem to osobiście z wielu wersji europejskich i azjatyckich.

Hello,
ich had installed the official Rom NA & Asia V220 , before, the installed version was V218. In this version , the device works fine.
After the Update, i had Problems with the TouchScreen -> I have created a video for this ->
Since Yesterday, there are new Versions available ( Europe: V124, North America & Asia: V224), beceause my phone was an european version, so i installed Europe V124, but my problem was not solved.
Does anyone have the same problems and how can i downgrade my phone to the version NA & Asia V218. ?
I have tried to unlock the bootloader, to downgrade the phone, but it is not possible (i tried it and have read the thread on this forum)
Does anyone have an idea ?
