Lostandtired.com , Click on the android development tab, scroll down a little, and on the right side you will see Restore clock (EC05).... Click on that

Does anyone know if there is a way to completely remove the status bar in miui? I know you can in cm7 so I was wondering if anyone knew how or if we can?

Maybe try erasing the apk file? I'm not 100% sure though.

This would not remove it, it would just force close like crazy since it's integrated into framework.

By using another launcher, you can hide it.

Well that's why I want it removed is because I'm using launcher 7 and it doesn't look well with it. I can only hide it when I'm on my homescreen but once I open messaging or any other app it comes back

Hi guys.. today i've noticed a thread in other section (link below) in which a dev was able to port S4 status bar with gradient (i love gradient) to Android 4.1.2 (the phone is galaxy s3 mini)..

Its good but the gradient is more acceptable as its from the Tw6

Download tinted statusbar> select touchwiz home> set opacity
