NOTICE 1: MIRACLE V4 works excellent the way it is. It has not been tested with other kernels, mods and tweaks. So I am not held responsible if you do such actions and mess things up. It already includes a lot of tweaks, so adding more will probably not have the desired results. Of course, messing with some tweaks values will not do any harm as long as you know what are you doing. PureMotive's Battery Mod has not been included as most of his tweak already exist in Adrenaline Engine. Also bare in mind that after applying ICSLayouts you can’t use any zipthemer or metamorph patches, otherwise you will end up with problems. But if you really want to, just flash the undo zip to get rid of the layouts and then use such patches.

yes, it coz of ICS Layout.
mine work fine coz I use old ICS Layout.
hopefully itasoulas read this topic and use old ICS layout for next version.
he make barebone rom for optional, user can choose fav apps
I hope he can use old ICS Layout, and some user can customize thier theme
easily and sharing with others. Most user need center clock, full transparent...etc

worked for me after a few trys:-
1 - i flashed the ics layouts MIRACLEV4-undo patch first
2 - Then flashed ics v12 layouts patch
3 - Then flashed ics v12 undo patch
4 - flashed the ics v12 layout patch again
5 - Follow tutorial 2 -5 on the first page
6 - changed the settingsUI.apk with the one from where you download the ics v12 layouts patch.
7 - reboot
8 - change the wallpaper and it worked

If you are coming from another Clockwork rom, make sure you Wipe your device from within clockwork before flashing.

Apply update.zip
Reboot and Enjoy
Do not restore application + data in mybackup/titanium for root applications. .Apk only or reinstall from market!! You have been warned
Tips:
Use Spare Parts to speed up window animations
Uncheck computability mode in Spare parts to allow apps to run Full Screen
If you dont get sync after entering your Gmail details, Reboot - Then Settings -> Accounts and Sync.

Here is my new theme- I have been using it myself on my Nexus One for a month or so now. I grabbed some images from a theme by JaiThemes (if you appreciate my work please buy one of his cheap themes on the market) and edited them to how I liked them. Then I combined in some of my own images plus some xml edits.
It is CMMOD flavour. It is still WIP and isn't a complete theme yet- only the main
So here it is- a metamorph- please use metamorph by Stericson from the market- makes theming so much easier. I have found that applying each apk one at a time is more reliable, and increasing metamorph delay in settings makes the whole morphing process a hell of a lot easier. To get the clock, notification text etc the correct colour, after applying all parts of the metamorph you need to go into CM Settings, then User interface, then tweaks extras and select this theme form the dropdown menu

Retransfer rom to phone.
If in clockwork it says copying System and this completes in around 3 seconds you have done something wrong or the zip has not transfered to sdcard correctly.
If that does not help

did you apply the CMTheme part of the metamorph? After doing that you nee dto go into CM settings, UI, then tweaks extras then select a theme (CMMOD_HD2) and install the xml file from there
it has all the colours etc inside this file.

And the market does not work after applying theme through metamorph. Damn it this is the first acceptable looking CM6 I have found. Any help? I will report speed when I can get a file manager installed. Is it possible to change the kernel if it is slow?

WTF is "Rodimus"? A gnarly character from Transformers. Also, it's my Optimus V ROM. It has modifications and optimizations done by me to make your phone better. Updates to this ROM may come in the form of an update.zip or may come as a full ROM requiring a wipe. Please do not request ETAs. I'm in college full-time studying biochemistry as well as working full-time. I work on this in the small amount of free time I have.
This post is edited frequently, so please re-read before posting/downloading.

Yea, it's pretty lame but oh well. Just sucks they raised the price of the phone to $200, haha.
ok i am attempting to install this onto my lg optimus v i have the rom on my phone still zipped as update.zip i have clockwork mod recovery installed i go to install update.zip in clockwork and also install whatever it says from sd card and it still fails, its says installation failed, what am i doing wrong? i have flashed my dalvik cache and cache and also did a system reset

yes i did it still fails, your referring to choosing from the list of files on the sd card via clockworkmod recovery screen correct? and sorry to whoever i pissed off for the forum ettique i was just trying to accomplish this for a friend quickly
Are you able to adb to it? You can flash that way too. Are you able to flash other roms like a stock backup?

You can't use clockwork 3. You must use CWMA. link and instructions are in the post.
I really like your ROM, but is there anyway that you may know of that I can edit the screen-off animation to the gingerbread screen-off animation. If so, that would be an awesome add-on. Thanks!

Default for this phone is a 6-bar cell signal icon. To make it 4, you would have to make some xml edits in the framework. The easiest way would be to just edit the icons, but the bars wouldn't be as accurate.
I tried editing the icons "stat_sys_signal..", but nothing changed about the cell signal in the notification bar. Any recommendation?

I forgot to mention, with this phone, Lg changed where the signal icons are stored. The files you are looking for are in /system/framework/lg-res.apk and they're called icon_rssi_bars0.pro, icon_rssi_bars1.pro, and so forth.

That's a feature of CM9. And that's the risk of the theme user, they should know what they do. And you won't be hard to update it if the CM9 got a new update

Important notes
1. In the V4 after the first reboot, go to "Settings Tablet", "Select button" and uncheck everything. Now you have to open the "Terminal emulator" and you will see the icons in the status bar. Have to do this after every reboot IF YOU WANT TO USE "TAB BUTTONS"
2. In the V4 to see the "battery bar" just open "Battery bar settings"
3. The rom V4 was tested by jdijital, Feo2_0, NICO999X and thenowis (all are users taringa) so thanks guys for trying my rom
* The rom they tested did not have the mod "battery bar"
4. The special commands are only for avanced users!!!
5. Unzip "UltimateCustomClockWidget.rar" at the root of the microSD, not in a folder

in cwm 6 go to mounts and storage there is option for format / system
So, if I format system use format/system in cwm 6 have same result with use format system.zip?

yes, the "Format system.zip" is only for users with Amon-RA recovery

Yeah, I delete unnecesary apps for more free space

I liked the ROM and its smoothness and appearance
Then, as battery died I put it in charging and after some time tried bringing it up from the shutdown state - IT DID NOT :crying:
It remained stuck at the penguin logo
I then reflashed and checked again - same issue
Please note that I have followed your instruction word by word
The only things I did extra after your install procedure is :
>Set tones
>instaled apps like smsbackup and restore, wats app and kik
>restored contacts from my backup and my msgs
>this could be one thing - not sure though --> I reduced the Min CPU freq from 480 to 122, such that the range is 122-600. I have done this on other cm7 roms and they never complained

Hi I have not had that problem

HI
For the sake of clarity, I reinstalled the ROM
I did all wipes and even formatted /system from CWM
I did a resart twice (did not even flash gapps)
after the 2nd restart waited 5 minutes and then shut down the phone. tried restarting the phone and presto it was again stuck at the Penguin
However, if I go the CWM and then reboot from there, all works
till yesterday I was blaming to have installde and then did not reboot
a few minutes ago i cleared off my doubts - wiped and flashed only the ROM but there is a problem
i have faced the same issue earlier with a similar cm7 based rom :crying:

What's Up?
Well. It's come to an end. It's been a long journey since i started deving for DroidACE, I've learnt alot from it and I believe it's now in it's perfect stage. Basically with this rom, i've focused on three main things :

So What's New?
In the v3, I've tried to make everything perfect and add loads of customization. I've included a more enhanced version of Aroma Installer which allows you to make your own rom in recovery. Aroma Installer? What's that?? Just try flashing the rom in recovery, and you'll understand. You might be wondering what AC!D is. AC!D Audio Engine is a sound mod by Team AC!D that provides you with an overall better sound quality. See the changelog on second post for more details.

Customization:
V3 still uses the Aroma Installer but this time you have more choice. If you choose "Custom Installation" in aroma, you get to make your choices. It's like creating your own rom in recovery.
Aroma installer will give you the following options when you install:
Choice of Launcher – Xperia or Holo
Choice of Theme – Xperia or Jelly Bean
Choice of Camera – CM7 Camera or LG Camera

That's what I keep saying
same problem here...something is rongh and doesn't flash the rom..
I deleted the first code (begining with assert.....) to this line => (package_extract_file("system/bin/backuptool.sh.......) in updater script and it worked
SOLUTION TO NEWBIES:
download this View attachment updater-script.zip file
unzip it to a folder
open the rom with winrar/winzip
go to meta-inf/com/google/android folder
change the updater script with the one above
enjoy!
If it says fail , just wipe data , cache and dalvik again , format /system /data / cache /sd-ext , mount system and flash again . It should work
Installation failed? it works for me without any errors,will try to investigate this problem
Edit:-
Installation works perfect for me but for those who have facing installation problems,go to "mounts and storage" and just format /system and /data and then mount /system and /data and then flash! i think aroma installer doesn't include format /system,/data script so that's why it directly installs the rom without wiping the system data.
