replace those app shortcuts with the ones for apps you want, (optional) replace icon to make it look like default.

everytime you see that option, you'll see *set as default* option. check that option, then choose your app for that action.

[Q] Removing or switching apps from lower bar

Hi, I want to know how can I change or switch the lower apps like the original rom "message" app to let's say "Handcent" and from "mail" to "Gmail".
thanks...
I'm running Epic Venom Rom
Open app drawer, then press Settings (soft button) > Edit. You may be asked to switch, so do that if prompted. You can now change the lower 4 (or 5) icons to any installed app.
Is this what you're talking about?

[Q] CM7 BUG ? :l

Hi again all,
Trust you are doing fine.. Please advise if it is normal when rebooting the phone switches back to ADW launcher (using Go Launcher before switching off) ? And when i set up facebook account in account & sync, when again rebooted, it disappears.. I am using a stable rom, and one last thing, may LED notification never turns green when the battery is fully charged (3 hours charging and powered off).
Please kindly help.. :l
thanks in advance !
About the charging:
What Cwm do you use?
Have you set the launcher to default, check settings/applications and clear the defaults in the launcher apps. Then when you press your home button it should show both launchers and a check box asking you to use as default tick the checkbox and choose the launcher you want to use as default.
Charging light is a known bug and cannot be fixed AFAIK.
Ummm !!! Maybe its fixed in newer cwm ? Not sure.

UTID - what does this mean?
To be honest its a bug that I never cared about so never looked into it as my phone is always on and when its charging I'm not interested in anything its doing lol.

Ok if you don't want adw then just delete it but make sure you have the other launcher installed/move to system.
Many ways to remove and add to system if you search.
Option 2 is to just freeze adw using an app eg. Titanium backup/system cleaner etc etc.
UTID
maybe update to go launcher EX, its still free and its good
thank you guys for your favorable replies..
anyone who knows how to fix the account/sync issues ?
so everytime you reboot you fb account get removed from the phone?
dont rebooot lol......only joking. Try deleting the app cache and data for facebook, then uninstalling it and redownloading the most up to date version from the market.
Sounds like something in the ROM isnt holding onto your settings
I've never been able sync facebook contacts etc etc with cm7 like you can on sense but the whole situation changes when on sense. The social networking sync and interface using sense based Rom is perfect.
UTID
If I were you I would definitely flash one of the newer OFFICIAL nighties. I do a lot of switching from sense and cm7 and I use nightly #255 its as stable as the stable and has better features. Just do a fresh install by wiping all data, caches, dalvik from advanced and even do the formats from mounts menu in cwm DON'T WIPE YOUR SDCARD LOL. I think you'll be better off on the nightly mate.

How can i remove lock screen dual clock

Anyone can help me to remove the lock screen dual clock. I am using Korea version F400S
Maybe you need to enable lock screen widgets in the settings menu?

Thanks, heres what the linked post instructed.
1) download that app from the play store
2) set your language to english and your location to your desire.
3) install the app
4) search "clock" under the activities tab
5) under the roaming icon, there should be a "Roaming dual clock". tap into it.
6) tap "Try" then select "disable"
7) simply press back without creating the shortcut
8) select "Roaming clock settings"
9) tap "Try" again, and uncheck both ticks
10) press back again and you're all done.
Thank you for the info, it worked perfectly

Wow, that seems like alot of work. This is what I did... not sure if it gives the same effect, but works for me on a F400L
Settings > Global roaming > Roaming Time Settings > Use roaming dual-clock (untick this)

Hello guys, thanks for the solution on how to remove the dual clock the app works perfectly I can finally remove it. Now I have another question, if you have the korean version or the 400s versions, if you go to your calendar app you will see that you have some korean holidays, I haven't been able to find how to remove those, i went to account and sync and I cannot remove korean holidays. So I went to QuickShortcutMaker app, under activities I clicked on calendar and went to setting, I unchecked korean holidays but when I go back the app crashes. Is there any other way to remove that??
I appreciate it. DONT WANT TO SEE THOSE KOREAN LETTERS!!!!!
This works a lot better...and easier I must say
Hi guys, I tried all the steps listed on this thread, however when I go back to the lockscreen, it shows the same dual time. Any ideas why?

Did you disable both "roaming clock setting", and "roaming clock". For me all the settings are under T-Roaming(F400S). Depending on your model it might be different.
Sorry to write here after long time, but if you google about 'How to remove dual clock' you easily go here.
I made an app to salve this problem.
Currently made for F240s on 4.4.2 (LG G Pro).
Please, if you have an imported smartphone with dual clock, send a report and I will ADD support for your smartphone too.

Soon Dual Clock Remover will be updated at version 1.0.2 with support for LG G FLEX 2 (LG F501L)
[update already sent at google playstore, waiting him to publish]
Thanks at the user who sent me the log.

What if previously I deleted that roaming app (rooted)??
Now I can't create a shortcut to disable it...

[Solved] [Q] Disable automatic "Default Application" Option

Hi there, something from the Menu disappoints me... Maybe someone is having a hint or a hack!
As you can see in the screenshot there is always the option for the Standard Application activated. In some cases I (maybe some other as well) i want to use aother app the next time. And If you forget it... its standard..
How can I disable the dialog, that the next used app will be used as default?
Anybody?
Cheers
Does nobody having this as an issue ?
hmmmm ^^
I have. But didn't find any solution for it...
If what I understand from you is correct, you want the menu to always appear every time, correct? What you have to do, is not to use the "OK" button at the bottom of the menu. Just double tap the app that you want to use. This way, the menu will always appear every time.
Use app picker classic on the play store

Glad to help. It seems this is a lesser known way to use the app selection menu [emoji1]

Anyway to un-check "use as default app" option.

I actually like picking my apps every time I open something. But so many times I have clicked an app and it's set as my default because the option is always checked. Anyway to uncheck it?

I think he meant a way to prevent it from automatically selecting "use as default" every time. (As opposed to unsetting an app one it had become default)
I'm looking for this answer as well.

Yeah exactly. I gets frustrating having to reset apps all the time.
no way to uncheck the 'set as default' option that I know of but you can use App Picker Classic app

make sure you follow directions after install, feel free to pm me if you need any help w/ it
Just tap on the app you want to use, but don't hit ok. It will open the app without defaulting it.

Thanks a lot. I had search many times the web how to uncheck the flag for default app, instead it was just an easy double tap. For me it works double tap on a LG G3 no brands with Lollipop.
