[Q] No audio when playing wma file - HTC One V

I am having a issue on a brand new htc one v. The default player can play mp3 file nicely. When I play any wma audio file, the player is playing the song, but there is no audible sound even the volume switch to maximum level.
Any idea how to fix it?

[REQUEST] Just Shake App

Hello there.
I'm looking for app for changing the next song with shaking the phone.
I founded Just Shake, works great (trial), but I can't find no where full version.
On ipmart I founded v3.8 but I get a message license failed.
Please, where I can found this app?
I wish buy it but I can't.
Maybe some similary app? But must works with PowerAMP.
I hope you will help me.
Btw I tried PowerAMP Shaker Demo, it's looking good, but I don't need shake right for next song, shake left for previous song, etc.
Just one shaking for next song, just like on Just Shake.
Try Player Pro instead of Power Amp?
Thanks, I will try it. I've tried before a few music apps and PowerAMP is best for me.
Did Player Pro have shake for next song?
Download our rom. we have the miui music player v3 included. with this app you can skip to the next track by shaking youre device.

Thanks for reply, but I have official 2.3.4 and I don't wanna go on custom ROM.
Mod Edit: Warez Removed
Thanks for reply, but I've already tried that version few times and I get message: License check failed...

miui music player
I tried Player Pro and miui Music Player.
Player Pro not working very good, sound is every few seconds broking.
Miui player is not bad, but where is equalizer?
In options I turned on shake for next song and works great, but I still like PowerAMP.
I'm still looking for this app.
I believe what you are doing is asking for warez.
Please don't request for such things on XDA and please don't provide links for such either.
No warez request. Next one will yield a temporary ban. Thread closed.

Am I the only one who has noticed this problem?
Read this thread in the general galaxy nexus forum
[Q] Problem with audio clipping on screen lock
A fair few people have this problem and there seems to be a work around (using poweramp)
will
I'm in the US(unfortunately... sorry family in Whales!) so no Nexus yet.
However, I never like using stock anything & music wise id suggest using something else.
for a simple 'folder view' style player, "Folder Player" is very good. Ofcourse, theres always "Winamp"... but if you don't mind paying, "PowerAMP" is very good.
winamp skips. I found the stock player the only one not to skip!

Tunein radio pro discovery

I was messing around with the files it creates with the record feature recently. I Googled it too and didn't come up with much but many other people who wanted to gack the audio too. Somewhere I read that the files were .m4a format, so for laughs I added the file extension to a file. Well, it played with the stock music player then. I tried it again, opening up the file with root explorer, but using poweramp to play it. Poweramp read the file as a 44.1k 128k mp3 file. Hmmmm... I renamed the file extension to mp3 but then the stock music player wouldn't play it saying its an unsupported format. Weird. More futzing around time. Poweramp still said it was a mp3. Why won't stock player play it? Tried removing the file extension then clicked on the file, with root explorer, and it asked me how I wanted to open the file as. I went to the second general tab and selected audio then play with stock player. It worked then. Hmm. That answered questions but it sucks that it records only at 128k. Maybe some people have wondered about this and didn't know the answer, so I thought I'd pass this along.
There's more to xda then just our phone. You would pass this information to far more people if u went to the android app section of xda. Browse xda sir. There's a lot ur missing.

Music Player App for the Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys, I am new to XDA.
I just got a Galaxy Nexus, and I wanna play my music on it.
1. I Don't want to stream from the cloud.
2. I want automatically sync my itunes playlists.
If not from itunes, there should be a stable desktop client so that i can sync without cloud.
I tried doubleTwist, it was PERFECT. Except it didnt support MTP. :/
Now I am using SongBird, and its WORKS, but the layout is ugly. And slow.
Are there any other desktop-android apps out there that support mtp?
I have absoulutely checked everywhere, and (I think) checked everything.
THANK YOU!
OP...I moved your thread to the Galaxy Nexus forum in the Q&A section.

[Q] Best Music Player with Play by Rating?

Hi, I want a music player for my HOX, the stock music player is perfectly fine for me, but it's missing one option I really want/need and would help me listen to my music much more effectively.
The MAIN!!! feature I want is I want to be able to give my songs, star rating, and then create playlists based on star rating.
Such as
Favourites (Only shows songs with 5 stars)
Good (Shows songs with 4/5 stars)
Ok (Shows songs with 3/4/5 stars) etc
Also I want to ensure the music player doesn't effect my sound quality, as I've tried DoubleTwist and it made my music half as loud (half as quiet? )
Thanks for any help in advanced.
Anyone?!
Someone must know a bloody music player that you can play by rating?
Lol?!
Power AMP is pretty much the best music player ive used.
It gives you the ability to rate songs (up to 5 stars) and Enqueue songs based on this criteria.
Download the trial version and give it ago - also the graphic equaliser is top notch
THANKYOU FOR ANSWERING ME AND I WILL TRY?!
Surely others have used poweramp that have viewed this thread, thanks for your help lol.
Arse's.
so you post a question completely irrelevant to HOX in its q&a section, meaning youre not following forum rules, and youre upset because you didnt get an answer for a while? and you call names?? wth is wrong with you??
oh and SEARCH BEFORE POSTING! im pretty sure you couldve found the answer just by googling the question.
this is a forum, not a helpdesk...
and just to get on topic, yeah, poweramp is the best player out there, it has a lot ot features, and a nice ui. worth the money.
