S Voice Running on Galaxy S i9000 - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

Hi all
Edit: Sorry didn't notice the double post,, Please remove the thread
I think every one knows what S Voice is
Now it is working well on most of Android Devices
Here is a small Video Showing S Voice Running on Galaxy S i9000:
Download S Voice: http://www.mediafire.com/?fvb7iv9av4mllc2

Is this for real?
I'm downloading now...
Will report back!
EDIT: I posted on a double post... Shame on me! Delete please!

Ahm... Sorry for the stupid question, but How can I install this? I try to install like a normal app and don't work, so I think I'll need to use Root Explorer, but if this correct, where can I install the app?
PS: Another stupid question. This work on stock 2.3.3 rooted?

OFFTOPIC:
what MIUI V4 are you using?

Edit build.prop and change i9000 to i9300. That's for the network error. Do you have voice recognition on your rom? Because on slim, it's a separate flashable zip. You might wanna look at the thread if there's an add on voice rec for your rom. It's working on my sgs running slim 3.7

No errors on mine, besides if you use root explorer edit text, saves original build.prop as a .bak backup, just in case.
Above threads discuss details .. system/build.prop needs to be mod.

SGS II keyboard

In supersonic rom we have sgs2 keyboard, now i'm flashing jetpack mod, anyway to use sgs2 keyboard in jetpack mod?
Try extracting the apk from the supersonic rom and move it to /system/app.
Also Titanium Backup could do the job, worked with swype for me.
But whatabout lib folders?

And, is it possible to change only the look of Supersonic with the files from Jetpack?

Sorry, i thought your rom has the blue icons :/
Just put the apk in /system/app.
It will automatically replace the old keyboard.
Any chance someone can post all the files needed up here? I wouldn't mind giving this a try. Thanks

You can use this on an odexed ROM. Rename the orignal apk and odex file to .bak extension or move them to different location. COpy this apk and choose samsung key board. You might get force close, as i did but dont worry. Go to Manage Applications, Clear data and reboot the device. You should be good to go

So wait, apart from the DPI change, and maybe 720p recording, how does this differ to other currently developed JB roms?
Have a better working Play Store to go with the DPI change?

ChangeLog:
V1.0
Compiled from latest source of CM10 which you can find the changelog HERE!
Change DPI to 190
Kernel updates:
- bug fix to bln, to prevent kernel panic in some situations (thx to thalamus)
- switched from deep_idle 2 to idle2 (also thx to thalamus)
- updated kernel to linux 3.0.38
- dockaudio sysfs for captivate and fascinate
- data-sysparts gets symlinked at every boot (a user now can just move any file from system to data/sys-parts/xxx, where xxx replaces the path in /system. after reboot the file is symlinked to it's old place)

Did you know there is an app on the play store called "DPI Changer", which does the same thing (change dpi) by simply typing in a number. Works on any Rom.

Well on JB it's not that easy, cause the market wouldn't work below 220 dpi. (well on other roms). So if he fixed that, it would be awesome. But that's just my opinion.

S Translator from S4 working w/ voice recognition + very basic info about S4 ports

I just posted it on Note 2 forum but I think that's also interesting for S3 users. Hopefully some experienced dev has enough time to go further than what I could
Basic info about porting apps from S4 to Note 2 or S3:
The system dump of Galaxy S4 was leaked so I tried to find out the .jar and .so dependencies of each apk in order to make some apps working on Galaxy S3 Note2 and Galaxy S3.
1-I found out that some apps were specilly developed for 4.2.2 but that shouldn't something difficult to fix
2-As usual, most apps not only depend on .so files but also on .jar files from /sytem/framework (specially ext.jar, core.jar, framework.jar and framework2.jar. As I don't have a clue about modding .jar files I couldn't go further on my experiment
S Translator with voice recognition working
At least I managed to have a better S Translator with voice recognition working thanks to the necessary .so file.
However it still force closes if you tap on "history" or "preset phrases", it could be fixed if someone knows how to port 4 specific .jar files.
Edit:Updated so now you can flash it via CWM instead of copy&paste with root explorer.

Hey, I used yours and fixed it just to try it, here is a working .zip file to flash with CWM : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/98702838/Stranslator.zip
I deleted the UI prints in the updater script (I do that all the time, I can't help), deleted framework folder because it was empty, and moved the so file to /lib
Voice recognition works (testing in french and english) but it won't translate anything (I get the message : unsuspected error) on android 4.1.2 XXEMA2 ( I know it's not 4.2.1, just wanted to try for fun )
Looking forward for the next version, and hoping someone will do the same for smart pause which I'm really looking forward for !
Edit : also added a "mount" code that doesn't rely on busybox, I've had some troubles using run_program( busybox mount ... ) with some people and my mods.
Edit : Working on 4.1.2, I just wasn't logged in my Samsung account.
Great work !

yeah, will changing the build.prop affect my device with my other apps? or in the future of downloading new apps?

Thanks a lot man :good:, another thing, will changing this have any other impact on my device? Can/should I change it back or does it just not matter?
thanks again :good:
it SHOULDNT matter guys.....but this will block OTA's from updating and stuff, so if that is important to you.
but always make a backup of the build.prop just to be sure. once FB home is available to EVERYONE, i would change it back just to be safe....but again, it shouldn't mess with anything else. most apps are available on the Note 2, so it shouldn't be a problem.

it may have a minor effect on apps that are for the Gnex or Note only in the market, but you should not see much of an issue

After testing i realized the following, i like the novelty of the home screen, but i dont want it as my launcher. i would like to be able to open it when i want in still have my launcher be the default home button. but every time i launch it, it tried to take over as launcher..
Where do you go to edit the build prob to make it work for the GNexus?
How can I uninstall the previous dev version :S won't let me install the new one

download file manager,
get root access

Worked great, but I have 1 problem...Notifications don't seem to be working... anyone else with this issue?
...did that build.prop edit and after reboot rom doesn't boot, stuck at bootlogo for about 5 mins now. good thing I made a rom backup yesterday.
Tried facebook messenger first when it was updated and chat heads don't work, anyone know why ?
So far it's been alright. Sending regular sms have been hit or miss. Sometimes they send but sometimes they don't on GNEX

Changed build prop and still says device isn't supported :/ Tried changing to a GS3 as well, not luck either.
Does it matter if parts of the build prop mentions toro/tuna? Or does the rom I'm using matter?

Uninstall and reinstall FB Home. You have to have your build.prop changed prior to the installation of the FB Home app.
