I'm pleased to present my MoDaCo.one ROM for the HTC One X (Tegra 3)! READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU START! No, really, it contains everything you need to know.
About MoDaCo Custom ROMs (MCRs)
MoDaCo Custom ROMs are based on official ROMs - either shipping or leaked. A MCR release is designed to feel as far as possible like a stock ROM, with optimisations, tweaks and complimentary additions that enhance the user experience. The aim of a MCR is to be ultra reliable for use on an everyday device. MoDaCo Custom ROMs include online kitchens that allow the user to choose between stock ICS or Sense style for most features on the device!
About MoDaCo.one
The MoDaCo.one ROM is available for the HTC One X (Tegra 3), HTC One X (S4), HTC One S and HTC One V.
Requirements
In order to use this ROM you must have ClockworkMod Recovery installed - this can be installed using ROM Manager from the Android Market.
The ROM is installed at your own risk. The ROM should be installed using ClockworkMod. A wipe is NOT required to use this ROM if you are coming from either stock, or a previous MCR release.

Installation
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your the internal sd card (/sdcard/)
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to the internal sd card!
NOTE: If you are using a S-ON device (you probably are!), in line with other ROMs you need to manually 'fastboot flash boot boot.img' the boot image from the update zip due to HTC's restrictions.
If you have problems with Market licencing, check your device date!
First boot may take a while - be patient while it carries out it's pre-dexopt. It's worth it!

This ROM is deliberately NOT re-signed, so you can apply any third party tweaks you want and they should work if they're for 1.29.401.11. Of course, back up first just in case!
Once you have the system how you want it, you can then run 'Odex Me' if you have a kitchen build to Odex on demand and save you a bunch of space on /data.

Hasn't it been a while since I posted on here? As some of you know, I've been insanely busy with www.freeyourandroid.com (which is going immensely well, by the way), so haven't had much time to work on the custom ROM side of things. In addition, due to work obligations (conflicts of interest), I have been unable to work on certain handsets. Luckily, though, the Galaxy Nexus is my own, personal contract phone; and I am free to mod-away!
So, I present you with:
VillainROM-AOSP-R2
This is a ROM compiled directly from the Android source code repo (branch = android-4.0.3 (IML74K), with Google apps/permissions, etc added. It is of course not odexed, so first boot will take a while. Subsequent reboots will be much faster. Here are a few screenshots, as I know how many of you guys won't download a ROM unless there are screenshots in the OP :

I can't guarantee it'll work, but should just be android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk
Backup your ROM first as there's a good chance it'll bootloop.

Another vote for custom brightness levels, the standard ones are just too dim. The fix Paul @modaco has done works great, so something along those lines.

1. Shen keeps asking for this, so I think I will add the percentage mod and 100 images.
2. I don't personally like it, but it's a very easy mod, so I can make it a flashable option in the future!

We don't see much of Richard Trip any more, but yes. I set up VillainROM with Pulser in 2009.
On another note, I'll investigate the brightness mod (not actually looked into it yet), and look at adding it to the next release.

No i might change the description, it just means that this ROM is made from the stock Google OTA's and the Google source that I compiled. (Mixed together)

This is a ROM I made for my personal use and I like lightweight ROMs. That's the goal of this ROM which is to make it as light and as empty as possible so you can decide how you want to fill it up or with what you fill it up with.
Suggestions are welcomed but please keep in mind, I am not obliged to implement them.
The goal of this ROM is to keep it lightweight and as close to stock to possible. Do not ask me to add third party bloatware (i.e Spotify, TuneIn Radio, Chrome, etc.) which you can install on your own. Also, don't ask me to pre-theme the ROM. My taste and yours may be galaxies apart.
If you have any issues, please post them in the thread so other members can help out in my absence.
There is no AROMA. Why ? Because I haven't fully mastered it yet. I may or may not choose to learn up on AROMA. The ROM is bare enough, there aren't much options to choose from.
Please keep in mind, I am a student and have school life to take care of. This means 2 things. XDA and developing come second to my other priorities, so don't expect daily or weekly updates with the latest bleeding edge features. It also means I won't have time for PMs or personally answering questions in this thread. I hope more experienced members can help me and each other out in this thread
If you want to base your work on mine, by all means go ahead. Just PM me and give credits to the people who I gave credits to. It's up to you if you want to give me credits.

Extended Quick Settings in the Toolbox DO NOT WORK yet in the new base!
HTC is using a new Sense SDK: 6.20
The prior m8 bases were using SDK: 6.17
So the Toolbox will need another update for that.
Most other features seem to be working fine.
Motion Gestures
The included kernel supports these.
To enable Motion Gestures: You must enable Xposed and the SubSense Module and do a full reboot.
They will not open to Blinkfeed, NO Blinkfeed here....
DO NOT ENABLE ART - This is still Sense based and Art does not work on M7 Sense based roms.
MOBILE DATA is toggled OFF by default! You can enable it in the dropdown upon initial boot!

They are all included in the rom.
Open the Xposed framework installer in the app drawer
Click install/enable
Reboot (FULL REBOOT)
Open the Xposed framework installer in the app drawer
Click the Modules tab > enable Sense 6 Toolbox, Gravity Box, GEL Settings(and/or any other module) > Reboot (FULL REBOOT)

No, no Blinkfeed and no you wouldn't be able to add it to Nova.
The idea is not to have Blinkfeed, because with it comes Prism and all its dependencies like the social plugins, then I have to include facebook and twitter and so on,...
The rom isn't meant to have that.

Sweet, thanks Santod! The first UnSense was my favorite. Looking at that thread, I see you had add-ons of HTC Car Mode and HTC Keyboard. Will those be add-on for this ROM too or are they already present? I didn't see them in the OP. Again, thanks.

Already included.
I left quite a few Sense goodies intact for now, so you will have duplicate of sense and aosp versions of some apps.
You can remove the one you don't want, or set your defaults.
I will probably cut some stuff out or most likely make up an aroma package, so it can be more tailored per user on install.

That's awesome. I like the options of Sense or aosp. Can't wait to give this a ride, though I just installed your NuSenseSIX at 1:30 AM. I can't keep up :good:

Noticed Gapps may give a force close or two on first sign in, just ok the prompts, and reboot.
You may get one more after that, I'll fix it in next revision(not today), but once you get past those initial quirks with the Play Store, everything should be just fine.
My apologies for that, but it does resolve after a reboot and updating of your apps/play services.

That's funny ! I was just about to post that. I have had it happen on all reboots. (Rebooting from XPOSED) .** There is a bug from when you long press on Home Screen and choose Wallpapers and select HTC Wallpapers. It opens a blank screen ** Other than that so far its very very smooth :highfive: :highfive:

OMG. This ROM is awesome! The best of AOSP and the best of Sense 6. Simply stunning, especially for an RC1!
But, for the life of me, I lost 4G when going in and out of wifi, and now can't get it back. I've tried rebooting the phone, toggling airplane mode and data, to no avail. The 4G icon just looks faded, and there's no data connectivity.
This ROM is ALMOST perfect. WhatsApp isn't working. It force closes when I open it. This is a fresh install from the Play Store. Anyone have any idea's?

It's been mentioned a few times on my Sense 6 base, no fix for it yet.
Somehow I managed to fix it in my RC4.6 update for the Droid Dna, but not on this device yet.
So at least I have something to look at and see if I can find a resolution for it.
Unfortunately, no immediate solution though, sorry.

Never mind... my bad.
Anyone lose root after a Full Wipe and Clean Install?
Did not lose root but lost super user binary. Had to flash another rom to get the binary back and then flashed this rom and all is good.
