Armband for Xperia Arc - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone, I like running a lot and usually have my phone with me for listening to music and GPS tracking with Sports Tracker App.
I am looking for an armband that will fit the Arc so I can have it with me now that due to the summer coming will be wearing t-shirts mostly when running. (Until now I usd to carry it in my jacket's pocket.)
The armband should let the 3.5mm jack open so I can plug in my headphones.
Can you suggest one?
Thank you.

I'm looking for the same acc
tried to modified for iphone 4 but no luck

why not make your own
I know this might be tacky, but why not make you own; from an old sock.
If you have an old sock, with a long top part (the one that extends to the calf), you may cut it at the ankle, fold it inwards half-way. Stitch from the fold up to the edge (two rows wide apart to fit the phone in the middle), and voila! :good:
Wear the "armband" up your arm (with folded side to the bottom). Insert you phone inside the pocket created with the stitching.

+1 For eBay. Ordered one the other day, went for free postage so won't get it for a while. Can report back with review I'd your still interested then.
MacGyver would be proud of the sock idea tho.

There's a form fitting one for the arc over at Amazon. Been pondering about getting one for myself. [LINK]

Yeah try order online from those China sellers in ebay. Its cheap so buy several until u find the one u love lol.
Anyway im using my old Nike's for MP3 player, its a hard fit, but it stretch well and keep the phone steady. As long as it works i guess

You can check out the accessories here
The arc came out here yesterday. I went to a local shop and there was a booklet titled 'Xperia arc 400 Accessories'
There is an absolute shed load of covers, cases, and replacement battery covers, along with chargers, and kits for cars and bicycles. There are a lot of lenses for the camera too, plus lots of screen covers.
i am hoping for an official extended battery (with back cover to match) that will double the battery capacity to 3000mAh minimum and become as thick as the x10.. one of the biggest perks to owning a smartphone is you can't go a day of heavy use without fear of your battery dying. i get paranoid when the battery reaches < 30%.
That's not a perk! A perk is something good.
Sent from my X10 using XDA and Swype.
lol I spotted that, but let it slide
Oooh, I'd love to have some lenses for the camera Can't find any on the internet, tho.
Anyone with better luck?
No specific accessories for the new flagship yet? Bummer, a dock or official extended battery would have been great.
Go to Amazon jp seach for x12, some cases looks good!

Why xperia arc is renamed to "Xperia x12" or "LT15" in several states?

I agree. A dock would be wicked. I dont think it will happen though. Look at where the usb port n 3.5mm jack is on the play. That was designed with a dock in mind.

I got a few of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S2-S-II-I9100-ZENIS-DESKTOP-DOCK-CHARGER-CRADLE-/220883609072?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D270865448058%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5859734319996833550
and they have worked with all my Samsung Android phones WITH "thinner" type cases. When I put the Diztronics case on the GNex it didn't fit by a hair so I took a Dremel tool and ground down the front edge just a little. It looks a LOT worse in the picture (since it is close up and due to the lighting) then it does on my desk but it could also be done a lot neater. I kind of slipped with the Dremel. For the price, these docks can't be beat. They only make them in 1 size yet they advertise them as if they are different (and jack up the prices depending on the phone). There is NO audio or video out, it's simply a charge/sync/nightstand cradle.
Today I broke down and ordered the "RND Power Solutions Deluxe 2nd Battery Charger and Data Sync Cradle" from amazon.com (too new to post a link, just give it a search).
This may be what you are looking for, because it is described as having an insert you can put in/remove depending on the case you are using.
I should have this guy in-hand Friday and I can give you a more detailed review.

Looks like his LTE phone with a thin case was a tight fit, so this may not be what you are looking for :-(

Not sure you´r correct, since they are saying in the reviews, that the sparepart charger doesn´t fit their type of battery, but its ment for the GSM version. .
So IMO this one on Amazon is for the GSM-version, but still wil work for the LTE versions phones, but not the spare battery they may want to charge..
That looks to be the same as the KiDiGi one listed on the Mobi site except the Amazon price is a lot less expensive. However on the Mobi site it is listed as a GSM (i9250) version.
I've been tempted as they also have a car dock with the same form factor but I'm really looking for something that looks decent but allows me to leave my Qmadix case on the phone.

I finally got the charging dock from 4u-mobi and can confirm that the GSM model with a casemate barely there case will fit..
I also got a s-curve TPU case, that fit this dock as well....
In both combinations you need to take off the insert
what about the clingo desktop stand. i;ve been looking at getting a universal desktop dock so that i can use it with a case and future phones.

well.. its not perfect, but overall i like it.
the phone fits perfectly in it and it's easy to use the touch screen AND the side buttons (its soft on the sides, so you can feel the buttons and press them)
on the downside.. if you have large arms the strap may be too short.
but if you're not a body builder or a fat man, you should be ok.
after you put it on, you should press hard on the strap otherwise it may get loose in about 30min.
but it's ok.. i recommend it!

You can try on dealextreme.com also
I've got one of these for mine, fits great and even has a bit to put my key when I go out for a run so I don't worry about it falling out my pocket.

Sweet looking official accessories!

Stumbled over this a few minutes ago. They all look pretty amazing IMHO and it's kinda interesting that HTC will be shipping an external battery. Hope that's not an indication of poor HTC One battery life.

maybe im wrong, but i would guess that it's unlikely there will be any bumpers from main manufacturers considering the phone is very thin at the edges and also the fact that it gets narrower at the edges (ie. not constant thickness)
There doesn't seem to be any official pouch at the moment which is unfortunate. I like my phone to be nude when I use it but be protected in my pocket.

Bro, check on http://www.pdair.com they sell high quality leather pouches. I'm like you and I like my phone to be naked and only be covered by a pouch so that people can see the device I have (I know, it sounds kind of egocentric) but also, I like to see my phone as it is, without anything covering it except the screen protector
The products are in production and expected to be released soon, I will definetly get one from them
I'm really loving that HTC is putting out their own accessories as well, I'm personally getting the flip case.
I never use cases for usual usage, but I'd like to have a kickstand since I plan on also using this for a very tiny but very portable working/entertaining interface. Like I usually jot down a few notes about appointments and lectures, as well as I like watching stuff on my phone

The best arm band I have been able to find (sorry i dont remember the brand, i lost it a little while ago) was for an HTC phone, one that came out around the same time as the GS2. I found it fit the best when the phone was in its case (a TPU cover). I was able to use that one quite well for a time.
This is the one I bought and it's adjustable and very sturdy

I came here to post this same one. I have purchased a few, my wife is a marathon runner, and she has the old one as a backup. She recently misplaced the one in this link and had to use the back up one for almost a month. She very much missed the comfort of the band linked, compared to both backups we have. She says the armband in the one linked is softer and does not feel like its digging into her arm.
So thumbs up to the one posted here.
