Hello. I have found a couple of threads on how to flash the epic 4g touch to boost mobile. I was wondering if you can do this using the sanyo innuendo as a donor phone? The reason I ask is that all the guides use the incognito as the donor phone.It is really hard to find the incognito anywhere for a reasonable price. If you guys could please let me know if it is possible to use the innuendo, that would be great. Thanks guys.

Yup, bump... so far i have been unable to find the correct drivers to get this working on cdma workshop. I have been looking for a little over 3 hours with no luck. all posts i have found have been fails, would like to get this working soon. I am canceling my sprint service in 5 days. I might just upgrade to a better boost phone then work from there.
Did you guys ever find out if it can be used and the drivers?

You can get incognitos on ebay all day long.
No luck. Gave up and went with the incognito

My dad bought an Epic 4G Touch and wants to flash to boost, anyways later on I insist that he needs a donor phone but he thinks it doesn't matter. How can I explain to him about the situation?

If it has a good esn why not call boost and sign up with them? Boost has this phone and they should activate it right?

I have inquired about this in several places and none of the techs in boost stores will activate it for me.
Not sure about if you call corporate and have them activate it that way.
But the phone is sprint, will it still work?
This phone has the capability to work on boost. You either need to get a boost tech to activate it, or you buy a different boost phone and clone it to this phone, which is technically illegal and you won't find help doing that in this forum

As I am completely new to the XDA community and experience I would be eternally grateful for your patience.
Here is my question. I have a Samsung Galaxy s2 epic 4g through BOOST mobile, a friend of mine at work has convinced my to root the device. I have since rooted the phone only to find out that I may have rooted to SPRINTS rom....I think. The model no. now says SPH-D710 instead of SPH-D710BST. The phone is working fine, all my features and extras are there however many of my BOOST icons now are SPRINT icons, such as my hotspot and ID PACK. Will I have problems in the future with this or will my phone continue as normal just with a SPRINT "face" on it? Ant help or information on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It will be fine, although there is an (older) rooted boost build available.
FWIW I'm expecting a JB build to be released for Sprint, Boost and Virgin at the same time. If it does expect rooted packages for each.

Hello, im failry new to flashing phones to other carriers. The only thing i have is the slightest idea of rooting and that is with my old ZTE warp. I was looking into buying a Samsung Galaxy S3. I was wondering if i bought the "SPRINT SAMSUNG GALAXY S III 3 SPH-L710" could i flash it so i can use straight talk or boost mobile on it? If anyone could link me to a source, it'll be much appreciated.

Newbie here looking for some help.
Here's the story LOL. I picked up a Note II on fleabay with a clean Boost MIED and stock sprint rom and I tried to activate at Boost Mobile online and everything went OK but the phone would not activate. I have searched everywhere with no solution. Any help would be appreciated.
It's like the phone is trying to connect to the sprint side of the sprint network rather than the Boost side?
Also what would be the best rom for the Note 2 and is this part of my problem.
