Im interested in the incipio feather after reading many reviews. I'm fairly set on it unless anyone has a better alternative. I have 2 tpu cases that I don't use anymore and would like to step up.
Also, I'm tossed on the color to get. I'm leaning towards the blue cause I like the look of the Lumia 900, but I don't know if its too much. I would consider another brand if it is recommend tho?
I just got the blue one last week on my Black E4GT. Love it.

What color is your E4GT? I have the black feather on my white E4GT and I think it looks really good...but the grey one would probably look good as well...
I have a black e4gt. I wish incipio made a white feather, but they dont. thats why im on the blue one now. All the other colors dont seem right for me.

I'd suggest getting the light grey feather then do minor sanding then paint/seal it.
Thanks for the suggestion. I really don't want to mess with it, kor do I have the time. Just seems odd they wouldn't make a white version.
Anyways, does anyone have a pic of the blue on on their phone?

from what Ive read the pictures from incipio are a little misleading. one review i saw commented that there actually way more protection on the corner

I saw that one as well. I don't know why these suppliers dont make white. I know case mate does, but those are terribly made
if anyone has a pic of the blue incipio feather i'd really like to see it on a real phone before I buy

true, my white sline got pretty dirty, but it depends on the material used. That was a very easily stained rubber. a feather case with an overcoat like they make for iphone would more than suffice for the average user

Can anyone suggest a white case that won't get discolored? White phones don't get dirty/discolored from normal use so there must be a case that won't either. Here's my white mercury case and you can see its gotten discolored in a week. I've tried cleaning with lots of different things but nothing works. So any case suggestions would be appreciated. Or should I just give up and get a black one.

Problem is , most companies make cheap cases, and that means cheap coloring whether its in the mold or the finish. I suggest looking for a white molded case made out of PVC, if that's possible. Cheap finishes especialy white will always fade or discolor.
Go with black !
Maybe someone else has had better luck, hope you find what you need.

Been using the white case from cruzerlite since it was rlsd about a month ago and no yellow tinting or dirt. And I use my phone everywhere.

nice case but I regret buying white. I played golf last week and use golfshot. Big mistake. The andy android fellow got all dirty and discolored. I was able to wash it off with bleach spray. However now I am noticing that the corners are getting blue lines on them, from what I think is from my jeans. Not sure, but it wont come off.
While its not entirely white, I do use the SGP Neo Hybrid, white and it hasnt gotten dirty. I cut out the back, as someone on XDA did as well, and I love it. See pics from Rootzwiki i posted:

I also ordered the Rigke Slim for the LTE Galaxy Nexus in white. It should ship today, and Ill post back how it handles dirt. I work in Construction and my phones are always exposed to getting their share of dirt/mud/mortar etc.

idont think its the dies so much as the materials. A lot of plastics yellow.. especialy when exposed to uv. and especially when white.
I know where your coming from. I have a white case as well. i think white looks good with the nexus. (wish i knew about the white nex coming to vz before i bought mine 16 days ago)
check wikipedia on plastics as far as i know only abs does not yellow. I think pvc is pretty good as well. so what ever case you buy look up the material its made with and check if it discolors...

I just got cruzer lite case and after a day of use I can see slight discoloration at the sharper edges ....

Nice video.. was going to buy this case for mine next week.. cos i dont like bulky cases..and that non slippery texture just caught me... i have heard that it comes in grey and purple and some other colour.. i have the blue galaxy s3.. which one do you think would suit that??

Definitely go with that charcoal black or grey.

I got the same case in grey and it is very nice, just make sure you dont get a 'copy' as theres quite a few on ebay (it should say 'ROCK' on the back).
Even though this case might not be as protective as some TPU cases, I find the texture to provide superior grip and in- hand feel.
I've had the dark and light gray cases (authentic) for about two weeks now and they hold up well with no signs of wear.
I think I'd go so far as to say that the Rock Quicksand is THE best case I've ever had for ANY phone. And like most of you XDA folks, that's a lot of phones and cases!

Go with the Black one....which is actually a DARK GREY. Not sure why Rock even calls it Black....maybe they're color blind?I'm sure whoever created the color codes in China just called the Dark Grey Black....and the Light Grey....Grey. They should actually be Dark Grey.....Light Grey.:victory:
I bought the Generic Grey initially and thought it looked MUCH too light on my Blue GS3....kinda reminded me of the underbelly of a Stingray or even a Great White Shark....but now it's grown on me.
Just for reference the Generic Quicksand case available on Amazon has a more rubberized texture....and it's actually quite nice.
I have a few more weeks to send it back I think I'll keep it....unlike the Rearth Ringke which just doesn't do it for me even though many of the feature are ever so slightly better than the Rock.
I plan on doing a side by side comparison of all three cases right after Christmas and maybe have a few more cases to compare against each other.

i have one in orange. if you like TPU cases that don't cover up the buttons, then it's most certainly for you. the fit is excellent. feels good in hand and the device feels solid with it on. i'd take some pictures but i won't have a camera on me until a little later. the only reason i'm still in the market is because i'm now looking for something that does cover up the buttons. the power button being a little loose only bothers me because i mess with it.

The pics on Amazon of the Cruzerlite cases are actually pretty accurate. I bought 3 of the "Androidified" model last week in anticipation of my new S3 (there was a 3-for-$20 sale at Amazon, and I knew I wanted some variety for mix and match).
So far, I like the teal one I put on my blue S3, it fits well, looks sharp and is grippy enough for something made of urethane.
I'd buy em again, or at least get one, and then cruise the bargain bin for color variety.
I bought three cases from them...I particularly liked the one smoked version for the white. I also bought two with Andy on the back (Translucent Orange and Clear). I have not used those as much bcs I felt the android on the back of the cover made the phone a little slippery.
Overall, the are good solid TPU cases. I will certainly consider for my next purchase.

yeah $50 is pretty expensive for a case like that. I think they are just branding that case just like Otterbox cases in a look and the price! I 'm not interested in this case, anyway. I'm more looking into some cases in slim and thin designs, but as many people look for "protective" case, some people might be interested in this case! Still wanna see some reviews on it!
Honestly I find CM offerings way overpriced, especially considering what you get.

Well I have a casemate tough on my SGS1 and loved it. Its kept my phone safe for the last 2 years. I got my CM toughs in the mail today, one for me and my wife. After installing our new screen protectors, and the new cases, I noticed mine was kind of sharp around the edges, (i think I remember someone saying that theirs was sharp too, and everyone shot him down) and then after looking over hers more closely, realized they are actually a completly different cut (version?), and the textures are different too. Hers feels and looks alot better than mine, and im tempted to contact the Amazon seller, but will probably just live with it. ok onto the pics.

I've had a CM Tough on a previous phone and the blacked out case looks a bit off. The texture and cut of the outer shell plus the cut of the inner liner is off. I don't remember the outer shell of my case having one bit of shine to it. Maybe a knock off?
EDIT: After looking at the case-mate site, the black one actually looks fake. Funny, as I have the identical black one as you and bought it from Amazon.
Edit 2: OP Compare the insides of the cases. Mainly the numbers and the other written details.

dont see why it wouldnt be! ive seen a cple more even with the pink and they look just like mine and yours the one you have with the pink looks funny bc i havent seen one with the power button like that

The images on case mate site shows the black and pink both have that fat button.
I was gonna keep mine either way as it's a great case.

oh my bad i see that now lol! i have no clue but ive seen prob five or six and they all looked like mine. it saved my phone bc i threw it (not on purpose) and it slide on concrete and it didnt even scratch the case these things are bad a$$

I kinda like the ones we have better than the pink one ya have :thumbup: great case either way

I ended up taking some very fine sand paper to all four corners of mine, to get rid of the rough parts. now its all smooth and nice. still stupid it came to me that way. I held CaseMate to a higher standard than that.

I was able to just scratch a lil with my finger nail and it was fine but mine wasent bad at all!
