If you order through Otterbox, you may have to call in, their servers have been crashing.
If you need a case soon or now you may be better off going with the Trident Cyclops or Seidio Rugged. However, I do not suggest the Seidio Rugged as I have 2 and they're both falling apart. The upgraded/seperate screen protector is necessary on the Cyclops. The Ballistic cases may be released this month as well.

I wasn't happy with my Seidio Rugged holster, but I don't use the holster much anyhow...but I would like a good one, it would be nice to carry at work.

the only thing i didnt like about the rugged was the opening for the usb port. i did cut it and it works well.. of course it doesnt look like it came that way since i did cut it and its not smooth but it works well..
i have the rugged away but im using the active now... out of all thats out there now with a holster, i think sedio is the best ( IMO)
like i said, i would like to see the otter box before i get it. i just wish it had a clip on the top like the sedio holster has. just feels more secure

I accidentally ripped off that usb port, my wife also accidentally ripped the headset jack area off. That plastic on the Seidio Rugged is just way too thin.
I snapped the top of my holster off, the design didn't work for me...but take that with a grain of salt, cause if it's breakable, I'll break it.

I still haven t been charged yet and I think it's been 48 hours, so I'm guessing they don't charge until it ships. I went ahead and got the 30 day Prime trial so I'm getting mine overnighted for $30 shipped, not too bad!
Ordered off Amazon. For the price you can't beat it. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.

Ive got one of these batteries and covers as well as the holster that fits these if anyones interested. I decided to go back to my 1800 battery and dont need this setup. I work at Best Buy so Ill exchange the one I have for a brand new one before shipping it out. Looking for $40 which includes UPS shipping.
On discount I paid $33 for the battery and after shipping I paid $7 for the case. Not looking to make anything, just recoup my money.

how much time did you give it to stabilize and what charging method did you use. they are all good sellers for the most part, you to filtering down by type of product. you might want to try looking for the seidio brand or sprint extended batts the off brands are hit and miss because a lot of them are out dated(because they buy in bulk and cell til there gone no matter how old the product) lithium ion batteries with high discharge rates, they might advertise as polymer but ship something totally different so be aware. hope this helps.
How many times has it been revealed that a lot of those Chinese/HK sellers put crap batteries and solder the connections to the housing of a 3500 mAh ones?
Agreed that their housing looks better than Seidio's (what were they thinking?) but that's all they're good for.
Get the real thing if you want real results.

I have to agree with you on Chinese batts they don't nearly last as long as they say but they are better then stock.
I have used both seidio and Chinese 3500 batts and actually I prefer the seidio back
Even though i thought i wouldn't
And they made it that way so they could use holster still with out makeIng a giant case to go witha giant back.

I have heard to charge them and let them drain completely and I've also heard Li-Ion batteries don't need that. Also heard to let it charge for a while after green light comes on... I have been wanting a extended batter for my dx but wanted a case that fit it right. Well Trident made that happen.
I have already bought this product and it is pretty nice. MY phone is pretty thick now but I actually find it easier to hold. I know a few people have also posted wanting something like this so check it out. Price isn't to bad either if you consider you are getting a good case and an extended battery.

Yeah it sucks when you already have the battery and want to buy the case.
On a good note though. WHen you're just at home for a long period of time, you can charge one battery and take it out and charge the other one. Then when you're out and about all day, bring both batteries with you and switch em out when one dies.
Well, the hard part for me is finding a case that works with larger batteries. Which is why it was a relief to find this, which has a case made just for the extended battery.

I was in the market for a new case and came across this deal which I thought some of you might be interested in. Im not sure how long these will last but the rebate is only good for today, June 29th and tomorrow, June 30th.

It's $28, which is already a pretty good deal since it is still going for $60+ on Amazon but it also has a rebate for $24.99 which means you just have to pay shipping. I, like a lot of you, hate rebates but figure a stamp and 5 minutes of my time is wirth it. Newegg is in charge of this rebate and I always shop there so hopefully the rebate process is problem free.
