No, they are different batteries. The galaxy nexus battery is much longer than the epic touch battery. The epic touch battery may fit inside the galaxy nexus but it would be very loose and looks like the pins are aligned differently.

Has anyone tried the Galaxy Nexus battery to see if it fits our phones?

Anyone run down to the verizon store to see if it fits our phones. That would mean the extended would fit and may not need an extra back cover maybe.
It has been chacked against the nexus one already for sure. Galaxy nexus was wider.
Or if someone has a part number for the Balaxy Nexus battery we could compare that way as well.
I may try this afternoon if no one else has yet.
GN battery is a completely different design then ours, it's taller and not as wide.
Damn well worth asking. Thanks
Dicho por el E4GT de Latinmaxima con Tapatalk.
sprint version looks the same in pics but I will be sure on friday
I had the Sprint Nexus for a while. The batteries are definitely different.
What about the SGS3? I know my old Vibrant batteries work on my e4gt they're just smaller 1500mah vs 1800

SG3 battery in GNex?

Hi,
I have searched but didn't find any information, and for good reasons... They former hasn't launched globally yet.
Would it be possible to use a SG3 battery in GNex? I understand the GNex is a smaller device, but could have same battery compartment as SG3?
Anyone tried? If it's possible, imagine the battery benefits... But me thinks Sammy is a little smarter than that
Thanks!

Why not just buy an extended battery.. basically the same capacity and a guaranteed fit.

Just buy the GNex extended battery...
I wanted to get the Verizon one since it's pretty much OEM quality, but cannot ship to Canada...
I prefer to stick with OEM, which is why I am wondering if a battery swap could work... Hmmm

The Verizon battery won't even fit in your phone.

The Verizon battery won't fit the GSM model.

Verizon battery won't fit. The Samsung extended battery for the GSM model is OEM.
Where can I obtain the Samsung extended battery for GSM?
What's the capacity?
I am still interested in seeing if anyone had luck using SG3 battery in GNex...
Thanks

Samsung one is 2050mAh
It won't make a difference. Just buy a battery that is guaranteed to work.

They're all over eBay from Korean sellers, about $30-$35 right now including a new back cover (you need it).
The SGSIII one won't fit. Just buy the 2000mAh Samsung GNex one.
Just Google Samsung Galaxy Nexus OEM extended battery..
The vzw one won't fit.. you could always just buy a after market battery with the same mAh tho

[Q] Galaxy S3 battery in our phone

I couldn't find any info on this, but does the 2100mah battery fit into the epic touch? Seems like there was a store (from a slickdeals post) selling an extended battery for the S3 that is the identical product to the epic touch...so they physically are the same dimensions as the original battery right?
Not sure but I will definitely be getting one if that is the case!
I'm pretty sure the sizes are different

This. They won't be the same size.
Sent from my Blu Kuban'd Galaxy S II.
S2 battery isn't the same size as S1... but it fits
I think the real question is who is going to take the time to jump and buy one and test then report the results
The gs3 battery is bigger and wont fit, there's a pic comparing both on the gs3 thread in general.

I don't think it will fit.
So did we confirm that the S3 battery will NOT work with our Epic 4G Touch? Thanks!

Yes
Unless you put a few wires from the copper connectors to the terminals of the battery then it would., wouldn't ?

Advice on compatibility [Battery}

Hey guys do you think this battery for the GTi9100 will work in our devices? This is a steal i want it xD
Oops
I don't think so. I remember looking at the international version and the battery size was different. As well as the probability of having different voltage output. Strongly font recommend it unless you are willing to risk damaging your phone.

Well if the voltage is different the phone won't eve. Start and no only the galaxy nexus and t989 well work for the 989

3.7 is what that battery uses. As does ours. It was mostly the form I was concerned about. But after looking at measurements of the i9100, it won't even fit. :'( darn I wanted this! Lol

Get the galaxy nexus extended battery. Its 2100mah and im getting about 4h of screen time with it. It needs slight work to fit with the original cover but its not something crazy. I got mine from verizon for 25$$ and sold the stock battery and the cover to a buddy for 15 bucks with a nexus : D

Comparison of Battery Life on Galaxy Nexus GSM with Nexus 4.

Can anyone here offer a comparison of the battery life on the Galaxy Nexus compared to the Nexus 4? I was thinking of getting the N4 but have been reading a lot of reviews that say the battery life is terrible.
Battery life is not very good on the nexus 4. What really sticks is you cannot pop in a spare when needed.

But how is it in comparison to the Galaxy Nexus?

I say worse. People ate receiving defective chargers and phone gets warm. I would ask in the above thread because a lot of those dudes had the galaxy nexus.
