Got myself a cheep ish case of the bay and im looking for something a bit thinner, anyway! is there anyone whos got the brodit car holder and a nice thin case?
my desire wouldnt fit with a case on in the brodit!
so if anyone can recommend a nice thin case, (and not the silly clear sticky thing!) and any thoughts on one with the car holder

However, I need to have a belt clip for my HTC Universal, as it is simply too big for my pockets. There are 2 possibilites I can think of:
1) Buy a Silicone case that comes with a Belt Clip attachment. I've yet to see this. Would appreciate if anyone has seen this and know where to buy.
2) Buy a plain Silicone case and attach it to a normal Universal Leather case. Currently I'm eyeing the PDAir Metal Case or the Krusell Multidapt Leather case.
I'm in favour of option 2. So those experienced PPC/PDA users out there, is it possible to squeeze in a "silicone-cased" HTC Universal into either the PDAir Metal Case or Krusell Multidapt Leather case?
Based from what I've experienced, you cannot squeeze the 'silicone-cased' universal inside the metal or leather case.
I have silicone case for sale on eBay, please search my username, chaiwat_t. It's the thinnest case to protect your Universal. Anyway, it can't be used like what you want as I mentioned above.

the universal sits well inside the pouch with the silicone case on. It is a tighter fit but I've had no problems so far. Also no drag on the SD card slot in the pouch either.
The pouch looked like a good approach since I didn't want one of the more intrusive cases. Had krusell for my M2000 and it made the keyboard loose. Been paranoid ever since.

I'm looking for a belt case that will accomodate the Seidio 3500 Extended Battery and a (modified via utility knife) Amzer Jelly Case. I know that Seidio makes a belt holster that works with just the extended battery, but I need something that provides some drop protection AND has a belt clip.
Seems like a belt case should be the easiest option, but I'm open to other recommendations.
So far I've had no look searching various forums for a good lead...and come up flat. I looked at belt cases for the Streak, but it looks like the measurements might not be all that great.
I'd appreciate any help you guys are able to provide.
I've tried the RocketFish Leather Hip Case (Model # RF-WR559) and the Body Glove Universal Smartphone Hip Case (Model # Unk) and neither works with the Amzer Jelly skin, btw.
The fit is just too tight...can't get the thing out of the case without taking it off the belt and muscling it out.
Look for a Garmin GPS case. They match the Amzer-covered EVO. Check around on eBay, they give dimensions in some ads.

Good to know. I spent my lunch break at Best Buy today checking out their (limited) belt clip selection when I decided to do a "world tour" to see if another class of device might lead me to a solution.
Where did I find myself but in the GPS section at the back of the store. I didn't find anything with a belt clip, but by eyeball-comparison I deduced that if someone made a belt clip for the Garmin Nuvi 1690, it might just do the job.
I am looking for a good leather belt clip case for my Atrix, anybody know where I can get one? I searched Amazon and no good ones out there.

Same here...only one i've seen so far is the otterbox....but it's very bulky. I hope theres other option coming soon.
Yeah bought the otter box but I will be returning it. The case makes the phone too large. Also the clip holster is huge as well.
I bought the bodyglove case from att.com and picked up a universal bodyglove smartphone pouch this morning at walmart. Now my phone is protected and I can carry it on my belt.

I tried an Atrix 'thin' case from a mall kiosk today for $10 and was about to grab it until I found I couldn't really use the fingerprint scanner. It seemed that either the hole wasn't big enough or the material was too thick around the fingerprint reader.
I too am looking for a belt-clip case that swivels with no magnet for the Atrix.
write to seidioonline... they make great clips...
I'm using the feather case in a droid x plastic belt clip swivel holster. Works great! The holster is a lil taller than the phone tho. It worked great on my captivate as well. Would def. Recommend to anyone that wanted easy access to the phone asap

Why no magnet? Does that cause a problem?
Reason I ask is that I found a Duracell leather carrying case at the dollar store that has a magnetic closure in the flap. I figured I'd wait and get the protective case (probably a Body Glove Mirage or an Incipio Feather) first than then confirm that it fits in the Duracell case before buying it. It's a really nice looking belt-clip carrying case.
magnets are what causes it to go into the car docking app i believe, so it would cause it to launch whenever a magnet gets near it
I am using one from an old Samsung blackjack and it fits perfect. A lot cheaper than anything coming out also!
I bought a nice universal one for 30 from att fits perfectly and I can charge while its closed

Followup about the Duracell leather case. The Atrix naked will barely fit longwise. With a Body Glove Mirage case on the phone, the Duracell case is too tight.

I don't believe that is correct. AT&T sells an AGF Premium Leather Case for $39.99 (too pricey for me)

Not so fast. Apparently ATT just generalizes. Just check the problems everyone is having from this case from the reviews at ATT.

Yeah they really do. I absolutely love the clip for my Blackberry 9700. It was a shame they didn't have a solution for my Captivate (without using their case). Definitely hope they do something for the Atrix though!

It is a tight fit but I use the Niteize XL Cargo pouch. The clip is not metal but it is very sturdy. I have had four of these brand cases and they are indestructible.

Hi, thx. I saw the picture and like it accept for the belt clip. I'm looking for a belt clip that is easy to take in and out without me opening my belt. But anyway thx again. I'm still googling to see if anyone out there made something that I'm looking for, for the SGN.
Btw, found a similar one from ebay "E Wireless Accessories", I've just email him asking for SGN size pouch.

I never open my belt to take mine on and off but it does require some effort to clear the "lip" on the clip. The clip is just glass filled nylon so you could take a dremel and hack off the lip.
Whatever makes you happy, I really like the Niteize pouch a lot.
In case anyone is looking for a good belt pouch, with a solid clip, that fits the Galaxy SIII well, let me recommend the one I got: The Nite Ize Clip Case Sideways Large (I can't yet post links, but it's $10.22 at Amazon; ASIN is B006HMRBGQ). I've had Nite Ize pouches for years, and the belt clips in particular are very strong and reliable. I'd prefer a zipped top to the louder Velcro, but otherwise it's been a great choice. {ProfJonathan}
I've always ever used Krussel and I've recently bought Hector XXXL (or 3XL) on eBay for about 12 quid. You can get one on Amazon for about 20 bucks.

I don't know if you live near a ATT Corporate store or not but I found a very nice leather belt pouch there for $20. It is big enough to fit the GS3 with a decent size case on it. I had to break it in a little bit but now it fits my GS3 with a Incipio Dual Pro case on it. I also ordered a leather pouch made for the Galaxy Note but that is way to big.
