Searching would do the trick
There are tutorials/guides to be found......
Decompile with ICS APK Manager your framework-res.apk and edit values found in arrays.xml with Notepad++. Recomplie and flash CWM.zip or push .apk to device.
As always, nandroid backup first
Edit: If your lazy and or would like to set your own adjustsable auto brightness curve;
Take a look at "Custom Auto Brightness"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nnevod.loggraph
Set the preferences first for min and max brightness.
Anyway thanks to the Modder for sharing with those that can't. Tip, maybe show a graph in the OP of the auto brightness curve stock vs modded??

Thank you for the new versions. The first mod was not enough for me too. I will grab and try AB2 after football . At the moment I use LUX Autobrightness free from market. It does a good job as well.
Edit: Version AB3 works fine for me. Thank you for this nice mod. Now we can enjoy the full beauty of the screen.

Just a quick question. Odexed? What does it mean. Am I odexed running original ROM?

edit: got it

Does this also work with LF2 firmware? Or do we need wait for a different version the the newer firmware?

You can use APK Manager, Google it .
There's a tut there too.
Otherwise, you can do it by replacing the files by hand on your PC, by browsing into the APK by hand (use WinRAR or 7zip).

must have root permissions with method chaifire
installation
download file systemui_battery1% odex or systemui_battery1% deodex
extract systeui.apk
inserted in the phone sd (recommend creating a folder or modding a name to your liking)
with rootexplorer copy of the original systemui in sd (recommend creating a folder on the original files, so as not to overwrite the mod)
made these steps, always with rootexplorer systemui copy the modded and overwrite the original pathsystem/app
probably give you just the error messages but do not worry, reboot the phone and it'll be okay
to return to the initial situation systeui reenter the original that you have previously saved
could you make it work with Omega 2.0?
