S3 fitting Golla Style wallet? - Galaxy S III Accessories

Hey Guys!
After searching the whole web, I decided to ask the question here.
I am searching a handy case, which also has the ability not just to store paper money, but also a small amount of COINS.
For the HD2, i have this one:
http://www.golla.com/products/#/mobile/nepal
and I am searching for something similar for S3. Golla did not release a wallet with this style for it.
Someone of U found something like that in www?
Cheers

Nevermind, found a wallet.
"Golla Nepal" just fits fine.

Do we have a Picross game on windows mobile?

like this one http://www.thetimmys.com/flash/picross/
iPhone and DS also have their's.
it's an interesting game can waste your half afternoon.
Bump.
Did you ever get an answer to this question? I can't understand why picross/nonogram/oekaki/griddler puzzles aren't popular on the Windows Mobile platform. They are wonderful logic puzzles that look nice, and they're best to do electronically rather than using a pencil and paper and a huge eraser.
Sandra
There's an old but very functional Picross gamer called PocketGriddler around if you do a bit of Googling. Annoyingly there's a nag screen in the game asking you to register (for free)...but the game's so old the sodding website it references doesn't exist any more so you can't! That said, the nag screen doesn't have much functional impact so it's easy enough to ignore. I would give a link to the installer but a lot of the sites that reference it point straight at the now defunct author's website so you need to dig a bit to find a site that's hosting it on their own servers and I can't check for the one I found as I'm at work currently. If anyone wants this and can't find a copy then PM and we can probably sort something out.
And if anyone knows of a better, newer game of this style, or knows how to 'register' the games to get rid of the nag screen, I'd be eternally in your debt!
I actually managed to find a site with a hosted copy of the most current 1.7.2 release here:
http://handheld.softpedia.com/progDownload/PocketGriddler-Download-17737.html
Tip: change the skin to "BlackAndWhite", it looks much less cheap and horrible than some of the others.
Actually, scratch that last post, having been reminded of how annoying the nag screen is I've done another search around and managed to find the new home of PocketGriddler from which you can download and register it:

Microsoft My Phone (Beta)

I just wanna throw this info out there. It certainly is useful... sync, backup and restore your phone's information on the web thru Microsoft's My Phone Application. Find out more: http://sn1-p1.myphone.microsoft.com/mkweb//MoreInfo.po?tsid=1254360402977
Sweet - I like this! So useful
I wonder if this is going to become part of live Mesh. It says on the site 'coming soon for mobile"
http://mesh.live.com
Live mesh is really cool if you do a lot of work at multiple computers (work/home/wm cellphone, etc). The usefullness of Mesh becomes apparant only after you start sharing folders with people. It's amazing
Ha! I did a little searching and today, Live mesh mobile link released here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/livemesh/arch...stallation-of-live-mesh-for-mobile-fixed.aspx
Um, apparently neither of you searched before posting... both MyPhone and Live Mesh (did not get released today. That article is from 2008...) have been around and been discussed here, for a long, long time. Please search before posting.

Great News! Gelaskins Coming to the Galaxy S II!

Just contacted GelaSkins to enquire about the S II, and they replied with this:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hi Potatoman
Thank you for your email! The Galaxy S II is definitely on our list of devices to skin, but I'm afraid that we do not have a release date scheduled yet. Stay tuned!
Elizabeth Czetyrbok | GelaSkins Inc.
Check us out on Facebook and Twitter!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shame the release date isn't set yet, but good news nonetheless! Personally I find them to be some of the most unique skins (I use the Neo New York one for my laptop ) and they do a great job of protecting the device. Thought I'd put this up here in case anyone was holding off on buying a skin until something new came around, I avoided the gel ones because I find them a bit plain and boring.
Yeah, I like them too, they look great!
Indeed! I dunno, but for a phone that had 3 million preorders, I like these skins because they make my phone feel unique sue me, I like being a snowflake ^_^
Not sure how well they would look with the textured back on the SGS2. We shall see
You can also upload your own disign and they will fabricate it for you!
no directly links to advertise please
it's okay to link to ebay/amazon and other such market places, but direct links to the manufacture or distributor websites are not allowed, unless a Marketing deal has been made with XDA Admins
Apologies, I wasnt aware, i just saw other threads discussing it and assumed the rule referred to official advertising.
As for the textured back, I don't think it will matter, my laptop one is pretty thick anyway so it should smooth it out. My laptop isnt AS textured as the SGS2, but it flattens this backplate out quite nicely, so we'll see i guess.
amagad how long should we wait ((( don't they know that our devices will be delivered soon (many have already got it)
I think they will release once it is out in the US, since they are a US company. I've bought a cheap case off ebay for £4 to protect the phone until gelaskins release them :3
by the way, there is an alternative - ZAGGskins. does anybody know if they are planning to make skins for our device too?
Great idea... i cant wait until they have the template ready

Hopefully, when SGS2 sells like hotcakes, manufacturers will start churning out cases and protectors like no-ones business
This is the first time I've heard of Gelaskins. I looked them up and their skins look amazing! Looking forward to their release of skins for the SGS2.
EDIT: Just received news from Gelaskins that the skins for the SGS2 should be up on the site on Monday or Tuesday!
SGS2 Skins now available
Thanks for the heads up
Brilliant
Just ordered mine
For some reason, my card isnt getting accepted. Well Ill try later I guess
I'm gonna order mine tonight i think... some great looking skins on their
Just a thought!!!!
Would the skin not interfere with the touch keys at the bottom?

Help me understand NFC

Hello
I am waiting for my SGN to arrive, i was looking at this forum and saw something about NFC Stickers/Tags?
How does it work, is it something like.
You program sticker(with your phone?) -> U scan sticker -> Phone due a background task, fx. starting music on a hifi or something?
Is that it? I am a hobby developer, and this seems to be really really fun to play with.
So what do i need to buy, where can i get the right stickers? Preferably amazon.co.uk or european stores.
Yeah you've got the basic idea. You can program a tag to hold simple information like URLs or vCards. Things like that. The power really comes when you use a tag to activate a task on your phone like you mentioned. Think of them like an alternative to QR codes.
You can get them lots of places online or on ebay. Stay away from the low frequency ones as I've heard they don't work as well (or at all).
Here are some threads:

LOTS of information out there. Just read through the forum.

Cool handgrip for photography

Saw this on Kickstarter:
"snappgrip: full control of your phone's camera with one hand" (I can't post links, so just search kickstarter for it.)
It is an add-on grip that makes one handed photography easier.
Already contacted the developer, and they are planning a S2 / universal case.
It seems like a great idea, just wanted to share.
Terry
PS: I am not affiliated in any way with this, other than as a backer.
