Hey guys. Just wanted to say that coming from the evo 3d, which by the way was an absolute nightmare, to this is so awesome! I'm running the rooted stock FF02 and couldn't be happier. Thanks to all the devs for their work on this device!

Lol yeah I will be. So could I just download cwm from the market and use that to flash? Or is it best to use Odin? Also can u flash downloaded zips from Odin or is that just for .exe files? Sorry for all the questions lol but really curious.

I also just came from the 3d like 4 days ago. I was able to con assurion into giving me this bad boy instead of another 3d. I told my friend how I did it then he called used the same lines and they upgraded him from the of evo and the lucky bastard took it a step further and got the one in white!!

I upgraded to the touch from the og epic as well. Got to say this is a great phone. Way more active development going on. I'm sorry to all those with bad gps but I must have got lucky cause this phone gets crazy fast locks way better than my og epic.

I've only experienced one of those problems. Speaker does suck ass. However...other than that my NS4G is pretty awesome. Wish camera had zoom though.

Which kernel are you running King? I suggest 1.3.4 from netarchy daily drive it at 1.2g myself. Lag? no such thing. And I never have an unsuccessful DL not sure where that is coming from. You are right tho, the speaker is ****, I keep my Epic on my side to play the music on lol

While that was a great kernel the thing that most people drooled over ("Snap Turbo" , which made the quadrant scores that were simply unreal) were mostly smoke and mirrors...what's the smoke and where are the mirrors? I have no idea. I wish I knew. It did scream, but, not as much as it seemed like.
...did they ever divulge or anyone ever figure out what the trick was? In the 15 minutes that it was initializing (and taking over your rom making it impossible to ever use another kernel without doing a full wipe) it was certainly doing something.

if im on darkside ICS, would i not be able to restore apps + data onto this rom without problems cus its cm9?
if so, i could still use TB to restore the apps themselves right? im tired of going thru market for each and every app i got heh

the 3 bugs listed are pretty big to me (the video recording one is ehh).
darkside ics has been legit, if im gonna flash off it it will prolly be whitehawk's aokp, not an unofficial one.

I am running 2.3.6 on my galaxy s2 unrooted. It was on it when I bought it. This mourning I wake up and it says there was an update for it. So I did the update but it still says im on 2.3.6 the only thing I see different is the lock screen. I was wondering if anyone else got this and what exactly is different

True that except for that last part some of us have to use kies and dont recieve otas for some reason or other and rely on forums to know when to go check instead of checking everyday.

HAHAHAH Yes I finally got an official OTA update for my Epic 4G touch about 14 minutes ago. I received ICS 4.04 It's amazing ! view screen shots attached...
Its no BS and I know everyone has been waiting for this for a really really long time but now we finally have it! So far I like ICS it seems really smooth and it official so hells yea!:laugh:
My phone is on activated on boost not sprint, but same towers same service so everyone should be getting this tonight!!:laugh::good:

Yes, a few people have already gotten it in the ICS update thread. I myself decided to manually update it through qbking77's guide for my father. Playing around with it a bit, nothing new, since I've been running The Blu Kuban for a while now, but my dad's ecstatic. Btw, if you want the stock ICS feel, use Sprint ID and choose the original.

Does not factory reset anything I have this phone on boost and everything remained the same... so Update is good

why not just clear defaults on tw launcher then when you press the home button select the one that says launcher, and make that the default.

Because vía SprintID it's just a 2-3 Taps away (faster) and clearing TW case take extra unnecessary steps. 10-11 taps plus some long scrolls.
3 taps vs 11 taps what way will you choose? Duh!
