So to clarify, is this for myTouch 3G or myTouch Slide? If Slide, it hasn't come out yet, right? If not Slide, then can you please clarify which models work with this?
Edit: noticed it was in the G2 forum - is that the only phone this ROM works with? The European Hero?
so far liking this rom, looking forward to the hot fixes

[ROM] CapRom Turbo | AROMA | 07/06/12 | T-mobile

Disclaimer: By using this rom you acknowledge and agree to the following: you know what you are doing and I do not offer this ROM with any type of warranty. I am not responsible for any bricks, or damage to your phone.
Hi, welcome to CapRom Turbo. The Turbo in the name is a street fighter 2 reference, as my Amaze ROM was CE, "Turbo" is the just next logical step in the nomenclature.
This is really a side hobby for me as I know this is derivative work. Please consider donating to the real devs! This ROM is just for fun until the real roms we're all waiting for are released.
Video: http://youtu.be/TeDXh9KaOZI << This is video of my Amaze ROM and not the SGS3 ROM but the installer looks the same.
Features - Customizable. You control your options.
Install options:
Launchers: Apex / Touchwiz / Trebuchet
AOSP replacements for Samsung apps (calculator, calendar, mail, MMS)
V6 Supercharger
ES File Explorer
Titanium Backup
Re-Bloat/reinstall some apps
Toggle2G to help with battery savings.
Battery % optional
Community:
Tell me what you guys want to see or add, and I will try my best, if appropriate, to accommodate your requests. Also, tell me what works, what doesn't, what is good, what isn't.
Notes:
I don't make any warranty as to how this will work for non Tmobile phones, so please don't inquire about it.
I highly recommend RomanBB's Adama 3 kernel. I'd include it but i am having problems with the kernel installation.
A kernel is not included, but you can install one immediately after the AROMA installer has completed its run.
Known Issues:
-Toggle2g requires root access and the phone process may occasionally stop. Just grant it access / hit wait.

So far so good. I'd like to see more things swapped out for their AOSP counterparts. That's all I'd really want if you don't mind adding in the next release. I haven't come across any problems as of yet but I did just flash it so only time will tell. Thanks though Glad to see some touchwiz crap gone.
Nice Work!
I love the New ROM - the installer is very nice and I love all the options you offer - couple of odd things occurred - I opted to use the Touchwiz launcher - when i tried to change wall paper for home and lock screen - the only wallpapers you could choose for the Lock Screen were from the canned group of wall papers that come with the rom - on other roms and stock you can choose lock screen wallpaper from Gallery - it does let you choose home screen wall paper from other sources besides the stock wall paper - (I wonder did my choice of not wanting LIve Wall Papers effect this in some way?)
I also miss the Visual Voice Mail Ap - I was able to pull it from the redruM Rom with Root Explorer and push it into the Ap folder so no big deal

[MOD][HOWTO][MK4][JB4.3] Add Additional Toggles to Quick Settings ( Root Required )

I take no credit for the modification as I have only gathered the information for the mod from the write ups on the Galaxy S4 here and another from a blog post on the Sprint Galaxy Note 3 here. I am posting this for all members using Sprint phones, specifically the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 ( SPH-L900 ).
Warning/Disclaimer:
This modification was done using my Sprint Galaxy Note 2 currently on the "modified" Stock MK4 Update with no Knox/Bootloader & Rooted.
As always PLEASE make a Nandroid backup of your phone before attempting to modify any system settings. Although this worked for me, others may have different outcomes. It appears that other carrier phone models running on JB 4.3 have had the same success using similar methods as these but it is not guaranteed for it to work for you.

We all know the drill.......
 =============================================================================================================================================
 ADVISORY/WARNING FROM THIS POINT FORWARD........
MODIFYING OR HAVING ATTEMPTED TO MODIFY ANYTHING ON YOUR DEVICE IS DONE "AT YOUR OWN RISK". I WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR YOU BRICKING, DAMAGING AND/OR MAKING YOUR DEVICE FAIL OR FUNCTION PROPERLY. YOU COMPREHEND AND AGREE (EVEN THOUGH MANY HAVE SUCCESSFULLY MODIFIED THEIR DEVICES) THAT "YOU" AS THE PERSON IF USING ANY SOFTWARE, CUSTOM OR STOCK BEING FOR YOUR COMPUTER OR DEVICE, TO MODIFY YOUR DEVICE WILL IN NO WAY BLAME ANYONE BUT YOURSELF AND TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS.
IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE ATTEMPTING ANY MODIFICATIONS AND TAKING THE RISKS INVOLVED THEN PLEASE DON'T DO THEM.

@CNexus for the How to
@smaw51 for the Flashable zip
Newer Version:
By CNexus: Flashable ZIP that will read your current toggles list and add ";Flashlight" to the end of it.
Will work on all devices since it uses busybox to mount the partitions.
Download:
Flashable ZIP
Later Version:
Add the Flash Light Toggle by flashing in recovery. Once flashed just follow the steps below to add " Flashlight; " at the end of the value for "notification_panel_active_app_list" and your set.
Incase one wanted to know, the flashable zip flashes the modified System apk's into one's System/app folder ( including the Torch.apk ) for the toggle to work.

Manual Version
Now to the modding.......
I have successfully added 13 Additional Toggles to my Quick Settings (of which have all activated and deactivated) on my phone when pressed.
As of 01/19/14 one is able to add one more that was manually added in by member CNexus as mentioned above.
They are:
1. Mobile Data 2. Airplane Mode
3. Smart Pause
4. Brightness
5. Wi-Fi Hotspot
6. Smart Scroll
7. Smart Stay
8. S Beam
9. NFC
10. Air Gesture
11. Blocking Mode
12. Air View
13. Smart Network
14. Personal Page
15. Reading Mode
16. Network Restriction
17. Flashlight ( Manually Added )

The "How Too" will be very similar to the two link at the top. Again I take no credit and thank Gam3r 4 Life, the blog post author Korey Wong, Black Moon, levi727 and mrlamo for their information gathered for this How To. I know there are others out there I may be missing and please forgive but the trail will go one forever and I will say thank you all for the findings to get this done.
=============================================================================================================================================
These are the steps I took to add all 13 toggles:
Things Needed:
Root Access
Your File Manager of choice with root access. ( ex. ES File Explorer, Root Explorer, etc.)
SQLite Editor <------- Got it from Here
TB Restore Fixer <---------- Got it from the Play Store You May Not Need This.
How Too:
Open your File Manager of choice ( w/ root access ) and from your HOME directory navigate to data /data /com.android.providers.settings /databases.
Once there, backup all three files; settings.db, settings.db-shm & settings.db-wal for safe keeping before any modification are done. ( settings.db is the file in question to be modified ).
After backing up your files, and after having downloaded and installed SQLite Editor on your Note 2, open SQLite Editor and allow it root permissions when prompted if necessary. It will begin to search for databases and generate a list.
If for some reason you get the Error Code 14 message when trying to run SQLite Editor, you will need to download and install TB Restore Fixer from the Play Store. Once downloaded, run the app, allow root and apply the fix. Worked for me after I did this.
Once it's done searching and having generated the list, scroll down and tap the "Settings Storage" file.
Tap the "settings.db" file.
Tap the "system" file.
Once in the system file, scroll down until you find "notification_panel_active_app_list", tap to highlight it. (It was #432 for me). You may notice that you may have to tap the one right above it to get it to highlight. Also make sure it's the notification_panel_active_app_list, and NOT the notification_panel_default_active_app_list. If you pick the wrong one, it will not work.
Once you have highlighted it, tap your phones menu button and tap on "Edit Record".
You'll see three boxed sections with information. The one to be modified will be the one labeled "values". You'll notice a list of all the toggles that are currently enabled which show up in the notification area.
At the end of the list you will add a semicolon " ; " directly followed by the Quick Settings Tab name alternating both and so forth. Leave no spaces between them or the toggles will not show up. example: ;AirplaneMode;MobileData;Once you are done adding the names, Save what you have modified.
Now reboot your device. Once booted up you should have and be able to see all the extra toggles you added.
Here is a list of the values one must enter to get all the extra toggles: Got them from here
Code:
;MobileData;AirplaneMode;SmartPause;Brightness;WiFiHotspot;SmartScroll;SmartStay;SBeam;Nfc;AirGesture;DormantMode;AirView;SmartNetwork;ReadingMode;PersonalMode;ToddlerMode;
Flashlight; if you have done the mod.

what was the name/link of this theme again? and have you noticed anything broken on it while running 'Smoothest rom 2/3'?
Also, I didn't want to confuse anyone on the how to and omitted from adding this information but as far as the settings in the rom, it limits how many toggles are visible at the top to slide around. At this time I have not found the file to change the settings or if it is possible on this stock rom to change the count number of visible toggles as seen here .
Also comparing my toggles on the pulldown to the toggles in my Display/Notification in my phone settings, there is a difference of one. We are limited to 22 visible toggles in the settings panel and/or what we have available in our phones by our provider as well.
I will keep digging to see what I can locate.
Some other toggles to try:
ToddlerMode;
Ebook;
PersonalMode;
Update:
Now have 16 Toggles...
I guess limited to what we have.
Also there must be a Torchlight/ Flashlight somewhere toggle as I found these. If not lets see what we can do. That was the start of all this actually, wanting the Torchlight feature back in my Toggles instead of having to install an app. Although I had the toggle in a custom rom before, these settings are showing on this rom.
Sorry for all these random updates...... one link leads to another..... then another.
It seems the Torchlight/Flashlight feature may interferes with other settings in the phone as to why it was not implemented. I hope I am wrong on this but this is what I have read.
There is a hidden setting to enable the Torchlight/Flashlight feature just as the Galaxy Note 3's and other phone variants do as well by holding the Volume Up while the screen is off. I followed the how too here. I do at times not get the light to come on but I keep trying and it does. You can set the torchlight time-out as well. ( This feature is also available in the Xposed Framework App: Wanam Xposed ). Leads to the same Settings Tab.
Thank you very much works great
Worked great, didn't even need TB Restore Fixer. Thanks! :good:

Do you think personal page toggle doesn't work because you have a typo in the code above? You have" persoal" instead of personal. I haven't tried it yet, just thought I'd throw that out there.

strange thing happening to me... I added all of those entries from the code without any spaces and they're still not showing up after a reboot..I only have the ones in my screenshot. Not a big deal, just wondering why they're not showing up..

Well I am pretty sure it's different for everyone depending on their carrier. I assume not all are going to be the same. You have 12 extra toggles that showed up compared to my 16. I would make sure they work when you press them though. For me, Personal Page ( PersonalMode ) showed up but did nothing for me.

That's awesome.
Another thing I found that was not there ( well for me ) as in the S4 or Note3 was the Active Number of Apps ( #2077 for me ). Out of the blue, it appeared for me. It was not there before as I was looking for it up and down, over and over. Just to show that it can be modified, I changed it to 15 and the second picture shows the change. The third picture is the original.

Gotcha. For me the last couple row are only there for aesthetic reasons for the most part. Haha
I only use the top 2 row.
Now if some of the cm toggles were there that'd be cool ie music, camera, immersive mode, flashlight, contact, etc.
Thanks anyway for postung and sharing.

No problem, look above as i posted something else I noticed popped up for me. It was already stated as well but I was surprised it appeared to be modified on my phone.
I adapted the zip I made for enabling extra toggles on the Sprint S3 for the toggles listed above.
Flash in recovery after booting into the rom at least once!
Enjoy
Enable hidden toggles
@DarkAngel feel free to add this to the OP

MAR-24[ROM][Kernel][UVMC6][4.1.2]HACKINGWIZ WiFi calling and MMS over WiFi

WELCOME
To
HACKINGWIZ
TouchWiz hacking

HACKINGWIZ uses the T-989 4.1.2 T-Mobile Jelly Bean final update as a base. The project's purpose is to offer extra functions and better looks over stock while maintaining maximum stability.
Aesthetics have been considered and vastly improved over stock.
Summary: Going for it all here, aesthetics, speed, battery, extra functions, updated kernel and ROM provide an improved look and 'feel'. For this project I dropped the toggles and returned to the stock'ish' toggles. I have finally come very close to satisfied with this ROM and the device in general. Features:
Google launcher
NO ADDS
VOL WAKE
FOURWAY REBOOT
CUSTOMIZABLE BOOTANIMATION
NEXUS KITKAT UI SOUNDS
DEBLOATED
CSC TWEAKS
Theme work
Much more that I didn't forget.
Xtra Functions
BLN a.k.a. back lighting notification. not on HackingWiz yet =[ flash tiberius kernel for bln support
ScreenShot on statusbar
PowerButton on status bar. uses = tap to lock the device or hold it down to pull up the reboot menu
overclockable kernel to 2.5ghz... is that an extra function? close enough- not on HackingWiz
Long-Press Menu2Kill app

***DISCLAIMER***
First of all... If you have rooted or flashed a custom recovery to a device then you have voided that device's warranty. I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD_Cards, thermonuclear war, and no one but yourself is responsible if you get fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me or anyone else for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Collectively, and at the same time. By downloading you agree that you alone are responsible for your actions and device(s).

Installation Instructions:
WIPES ==> wipe all except external sdcard and internal sdcard
1. Install TWRP recovery. WIPE the following partitions in TWRP recovery ====> /system /data/ /cache/ dalvik cache/ /preload/ everything but internal and external sdcards... unless you want to wipe those as well then go right ahead.. also wiping everything is a good way to start over if coming from builds of another source.
2. Install ROM from /sdcard/ aka internal /sdcard/
3. After flashing completes, reboot
4. LET IT SIT A FEW MINUTES
5. Sign in to WI-Fi if available, then sign into your Google account
6. Choose Google launcher when prompted pick "Always" then "OK" Choosing Google launcher will not allow the stock customized Weather widget to function or even be chosen. your choice. I like both.
7. open play store and allow Google search and keep to update...
8. reboot.. . Remember to Reboot.

I really condone the use of Google for any question... you should be using Google more frequently as a result of frequenting this site .
And about Exchange services?.?.? you mean for emails? what about the Email app that is included, its produced by Google.. they already have all your info anyway so why not use them, right?

Exchange it's extremely common in business environments. If the business practices BYOD and you can't access exchange you can't BYOD.

I'm just saying is all. My company doesn't follow BYOD so I couldn't care less if you don't add exchange support.
Also, thanks for still deving for our old hercules. I've seen a lot of devs come and go in my two years with this phone. Glad some are still here. Keep up the good work!

Just switched back to this from various aosp ROMs and liking it a lot. I always preferred the power toggles app to the toggles that already appear in the pull down menu. Is there any way to get rid.of the "stock" toggles and replace them with the power toggles? Also I've noticed when using the flashlight from the power toggles app, there is no lag in the light turning on or off the way the stock toggle has done on tw ROMs

After Install: (Recommended)
Please allow some time to boot up after intial boot, you may receive a black screen after second logo, that is fine.
Recommended to wait five minutes on intial boot before doing anything, then do a full restart.
Go to settings then System Updates, then update your PRL and Profile to get data working properly. (If LTE isn't showing up)
To get back Developer Options go in to settings, About phone, choose Software information and rapidly tap Build number until it says your a developer.
Notes:
If knock code does not work on initial set up, go in to settings choose gestures and turn off knockon. Reboot the device and go back to same area and turn it back on, reboot one last time and should work properly.
To get the Mobile Hotspot hack to work properly please Update Profile under System updates in settings.
If you install custom init.d tweaks you must enable the init.d option through the STweaks app by scrolling over to the Other tab and down to Init.d and select enable then reboot. (If using Dorimax Kernal)

I am first guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excited for something else on the ls980. Thank you!!
Edit: Do I have to be on ZVD to flash?
[/COLOR]Also note that being on nova launcher. Tap off only works in status bar or being on Dorimax kernel, you may see swipe the navigation buttons either way, left to right or opposite.

Android L launcher, we may look into. G3 launcher.. Hmm not saying impossible, but can look into it. It would definitely be a mod.
He kept it with nova to reduce size.

Very excited for it then
I really wanted a G3 launcher like from Cloudy's rom but as you know, his roms aren't really fully stable with the LS980, so either one of those launchers would be great, I can see this ROM having GREAT potential

Extreme beats mod, improves the sound quality and bass for music. Slight volume increase, while being crisp and clear.

Hey wanted to let u guys know, and not sure if this is a bug or just me, but in system settings, when i go to "home screen" it instantly force closes on me. Im not a huge fan of nova, i really like the modified stock look, so i was trying to change from nova to lg home but maybe its not there and i missed that. If so i apologize. But ya, did 2 clean installs, full wipes both times and still got the home screen fc. Thanks. Great rom!

That because there is no LG home screen. It was removed. If you would like the LG g3 home screen, I'm working on an update zip for you. Also there will be the one for android L for those that wanted that.
