Anyone tried to flash official MIUI 2.3.6 on latest official sony kernel build (4.1.B.0.431)?
I can't get the wlan to work ... also tried any other ICS-beta kernel available... no luck ...
any ideas?

There is no official ICS for X10.
but u can use cm9 based on ICS

hi everybody, I have a xperia arc s LT18i is not new, I've been reviewing, it has android version 4.0.4 but it seems more to 4.0.3 (the interface is the same) and has also 4.1.B.0.431, could you helpme to pass on a correct to version 4.0.4.

I'm not sure what you're getting at but that IS the latest version of Android available for your phone.

If your device has 4.0.4 and 4.1.B.0.431 is the build number, then this the latest update from from SONY for ARC S /Lt18i and Lt18a.
xtacy and auni are right its the latest Update from Sony
Anyone help me find the last GingerBread update for Xperia Arc S LT18i I've upgraded it to 4.0.4 and was very disappointed on its performance so I decided to flash manually back to GingerBread.
Please post links here on where to download the latest/last GingerBread firmware for Arc S.

Latest firmware (or update) is .62 or 4.0.2.a.0.62
For Germany, latest is 4.0.2.A.0.69, everywhere else it is 4.0.2.A.0.62.
Check my signature for stock firmware downloads, if there is not, then check in Arc General section, there is stock firmware downloads I think also.
I Have Sony xperia SL > Android Version 4.1.2
Can i downgrade the version to 4.0.4 without issues or simlocked before i install the rom
and dose 4.0.4 good in battery

Yes You can downgrade to 4.0.4 . Simlock won't occur if You downgrade, given that You don't have any Operator restrictions. Can't comment on battery though.
