64 gb has been confirmed working. You could just format it into two 32 gb partitions if it doesn't however.

Some people ran into issues on the G2x, which is why I mentioned it. But yeah, that's always an option if you run into issues.

I guess I could change the kernel to get ntfs

I think Franco supports it.

microSDXC supports up to 2 TB
If the devices support the SDXC specification properly, then it should support microSDXC cards up to 2 TB.
64 GB is the largest size so far, but 128 and 256 should be coming since they have been released for the larger SDXC cards.

I successfully used ntfs formated 16GB drive once, but I am not sure whether it was on rooted stock or on AOKP. I am using app "Drive Mount" by Dwayne Hoy from Play store, but I can't find it now...

I'm running the stock ROM on my GS3 and I don't get an option to "Move to SD card".
I do get that option on my Fascinate running CM10.
Is there any way to enable this?
Don't think you can moves apps to sd.. Unless you got it rooted or running a custom rom .. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I recently bought a 32gig card from amazon for about £13 which i thought was good. I dont have the option to install apps tp sd card. I did have an app for it but it didnt seem to work so i just have mainly music and videos on my card
I'm sorry I should have made it clear. If you're running a custom rom like cm10 then you can move to sd.

[Q] Which SD cards have been reported to work with the Note 2?

I know there are numerous issues with 4.1.2 with the Note 2 and the S3 concerning the micro SD card. Right now I have a 2GB (no idea what the class is) SanDisk card in my note 2. I bought a 16GB class 10 lexar, and one day later I got the mounting issues where the phone would keep mounting and unmounting the card. Couple of days later, the card was totally unreadable by the phone. So I decided to take it out and thankfully it was still readable on the computer, so I gave it to a friend, where the card works flawlessly on her BB. Anyway, I've read around that the samsung cards have been solving this issue... Is this true? I am definelty staying away from SanDisk and Lexar as those are the two clear brands with problems. Anyway thanks for any help in advance!
I've been running a 32gb PNY SD card for months. Bought when I had my S2 then used it in my S3, did have an isuue with it on my S3 when I made a backup of the rom I was using but was able to completely restore it. Put it in my Note 2 when I got it back in April all has been good so far.

The red/grey sandisk cards in 8, 16, 32 and 64 gig capacities run fine. Rocking the 64 at the moment.
I had read somewhere a few months back that the Sandisk cards had issues with getting hot and failing but if I remember right it was the black class 10 onesthat where 16gb and higher. Something about them not being able to handle the faster read/write speeds in the S3 and probaly in the Note 2. I'm very happy with my class 10 32gb PNY.

From what I read, it wasn't wide spread but there were reports that some had issues. May have just been defective SD cards

Thanks nelvinchi for a "sense" reply. I have ordered a 32gb class 10 card from Amazon, due to the fact you cannot install apps too them 32gb will be plenty for me, if you could of installed apps I would have payed for 64gb, hence the reason for my question.

128GB Sandisk Micro SD

I know our tablet's specs say max of 64GB for mSD.
128GB from Sandisk is out, is there a way to make this work?

I believe it should work fine and the reason they rated at 64gb because at the time there's no 128gb yet. I knew some one who used a regular sdcard to micro sdcard adaptor for 128gb on the Note and it worked!
^this
I've actually done the same thing on my Xoom, and it worked fine.

Aside from putting in an adaptor, do you have to do install some apps or some software tweaking to recognize the card? Or is it just plug and play like any other cards.

Just plug and play. But the adapters are a little delicate, I wouldn't suggest having it loose and flapping around. If you have a case, you can just tuck it in and it should be fine, otherwise I'd suggest taping it down to the tablet. That's how I did it on my Xoom.

Keep us informed about how long it takes to get or shipped A's how slim it works with our note.
as a side note what programs do you guys use to format your sd cards to fat32? The 64 from my note 2 doesn't like the note pro. IT detects it but wont read the files. Shows the used space but can't see anything on it.Very peculiar

I don't format FAT32... Ihave an sd to micro sd cad adaptor with a 128gb sd card installed formatted exFAT... No problems with accessing it.
My note is rooted though...

It should work. My Vision was rated up to 32GB card support and I got a 64GB card working in it.
