the .rar file only contains CSC and PDA files... and after flashin there is no network as PHONE file is missing....
any suggestions please...
Just install any rom that have all these files and then using registry fix upgrade to the latest DDJG4 ROM which is far more better and stable..
am using the same ... after changing a lot of rom .. its the best i found for indian galaxies.. need more help .. do write dowm.
U can also directly install DDJG4 through ODIN.. it has all the files .... i never needed modem or csc file only pda and pit did the upgrade.

Did you enable repartition checkbox while flashing via odin and did you use the 512.pit file? If I 'm not wrong ddjg4 is a single tar which has the pda, modem and csc. Select pda in odin and point to the tar file.

i enabled repartition but still getin the same error.... do i have to format my phone b4 doin it.. m using XXJPC firmware currently and want to move back to the official one... please help...
JPC is a real pain ... has lot of bugs .. also it changes the product code to KOR after reading a lot i managed to get back my product code to INU ....
Try doing a factory reset and then flashing with ODIN with repartition on .... or use the registry hack method and upgrade to DDJG4 via kies.
first format ur internal sd card and then ur device and then try the method below
the rar file ddjg4 contains 2 files 1)add_odd and 2) dll file. , add_odd .. is a tar file just ignore the dll file...
1) open odin , tick the repartition ..
2) select the 512.pit file
3) select the add_odd as pda
4)remove the sim and the sd card
5) put the battery and the back cover
6) put ur device in the download mode
7) connect device to computer (using data cable)
8) click start
and i think you should be back to ddjg4

requested access to this as well-- can you post somewhere other than Google Drive as people cant get to this file?!
can you please grant my request to download the file? I have a soft bricked phone and I really need the Pit file. thanks so much

According to: http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-extract-pit-file-from-samsung-galaxy-devices/
Requirement: To be able to use any of the methods described below [to extract the PIT file], you must have root privilege on your Galaxy device. Both the methods have been tested on the Samsung Galaxy S5.

This means that, unless someone gets it directly from Samsung somehow (leak, release, or otherwise), you'll need to wait for root on the 5.1.1 stock ROM.
I don't know a whole lot about the PIT file, and why someone would ever need it (apart from screwing around so much that you overwrite your partition information on the device... which would be hard for the average user to accidentally do).
Have you tried Samsung Smart-Switch? I don't know if it's capable, but it might download the PIT info from the internet before restoring stock firmware on a 100% borked device.
Thank you for the reply; by adb I know does not work without root as I looked over those methods. But there is also Heimdall that should be able to extract the pit while in download mode and has the option to save it,but seems not supporting this device. Also odin performs this tasks " Get PIT for mapping.." ,but does it automatically and there is no option to save from a working device with same details to use on other. I need it for a g925t that is stuck on samsung logo after odin restore and showing in download mode SW rev. check fail. device:2 binari 1 , and I think by flashing with a pit might fix it

will not work to restore to 5.0.2 from what I know and might also damage it,so do not recommend to try that

You can flash it via Mobile Odin or flash fire
Or Odin ( PC version ) I recommend the last/first one because flash fire isn't stable yet .. And PC Odin is the Most used way so its recommended
---------- Post added at 07:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:02 AM ----------
You can't flash it via recovery
Sir i have asked modem file !!!!
i.e u can check this thread ::http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2496989 once(but theres no modem file for nb1 :crying: but i want it)
The file u suggested is 970 mb,but usually modem file size will be around 17-18 mb.

you will need Winrar or 7Zip to complete this
firstly make a copy from the stock ROM
rename the copy and remove the .md5 from it
then opne it with winrar/7zip
Extract BcmCP.img
---------- You extracted the Modem successfully ------------
now its time to make it odin flashable tar
you will need a tool that convert files to tar i use tar-Tool_Odin3-v3.07 ( download it from attachments )
Extract the tar tool
then put the BcmCP.img in the Converter folder
and run ImgToTar.MD5.bat
after 5/3 Minutes you will find a .tar/.tar.md5 in the folder
--------- You converted it successfully ------------
to flash it download odin from attactments
put the Modem .tar in PDA/ AP
power off your phone and press ( volume down - home button - power button )
after the mobile opens in screen like recovery press volume up and connect the mobile to PC and hit start in Odin
when it finishes you'll get Reset/Pass and the mobile will restart
---------- You flashed it successfully --------

SM-T900 pit file

I know this is a very stupid question.
Last time I installed a custom rom through Odin.
I also played with the setting and i did a re-partition <-- I know, shoot me if you can
Now i need a PIT file for my MT-T900
Everytime i install the original rom it fails.
Who has the PIT file for me from the SM-T900 ?????
I have totally no experience in pit file restoration because i never was clever enough to do what u did.
Maybe you have something with this files . I looks like one of it is an pit file:
asanfile.com/file?path=samsung%2Fflash%20file%2Fsm%20series%2Fsm-t900%2F
On website:
asanfile.com/file
Choose samsung -----> flash file -------> sm series -----> SM-T900
I give no garantee this is the correct one.

Thanks for the replay and te link.
It has partly worked. I was able to install the original rom but still got the fail error.
It was clearly not the correct pit file.
My device worked but i wa snot happy.
Afther this i was looking futher in to the problem and found a new program that samsung is using for it's devices.
It's called Smart Switch. I used this program to do a emergency recovery of my device and it worked. The program did a new re-partition of my device.
Many thanks.
