what is the difference about Link2sd & a2sd?
which is preferable to use?
Wow. Long time not see this question. Just find in old thread in general thread or see faq thread. Forget link but i think should try with googling first and many information about ur question. Little info is link2sd more easy than a2sd. Just try link2sd 1st b4 use a2sd coz more complicated and waste ur time to learn it. Expecially u wanna read and read before try it.

i have parted my SD card, i got info from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201902
everything seems fine.. app2sd works fine until i have restart my arc..
and app2sd doesnt work anymore.. every app that i have installed cant be read.
i just got gray icon of apps on settings-->application-->manage application...
plz someone help me... is there another way to resolved this??

i have resolved this.. just used the latest app2sd, u can download it from here..

Unaffected by the way you get A2SD working you have to create a Ext3/4 partition on your SD Card first (I heard of a maximum of 1 GB?). This can be made with tools Clockworkmod Recovery.

Data2sd by sibere is the best supported method of putting data on ext IMHO. The other 2 devs haven't been seen for ages and sibere was first and still evolving

Thanks for your reply. But I hava to say that you don't watch my questions carefully .
I want to find a way to re-odex rom only by computer. Don't need to link my phone.
Someone corect me if im wrong but you probably want to deodex the phone. Look around for guides on how to DEodex not REodex.

He actually meant to reodex the rom...... Odexed roms have better load times due to the odex files keeping some information of processes
Lol i got confused fromthe frist sentance +not reading carefully i tought he wanted to mod something . Anyway there was a thread in developement on how to odex your phone.

to install CM, you need to go to JB first because it needs CWM 6.
for the JB version, choose your ace 2‘s region (i have Indonesian Ace 2, so I use Indonesian JB ROM). you can use others region but avoid chinese region because it has different signal and also check if your ace 2 is P or L type because it has different ROMs
do you need to go to mb2/mb4? don‘t know yet because I didn‘t test all JB roms. For my region‘s rom, I can directly go to JB from GB
for the instruction how to upgrade and where are the roms.. please search...

This forum came equipped with a search engine that helps you find information based on what you want. It's great, thank the webmaster for that.
If this forum doesn't have the information that you are looking for you can request it in a nice way, well written, etc. That again, is okay and acceptable.
