Hi all this is my first ported rom that works well enough that I wanted to put it up and get some input on it.

Installation Requirements
Battery with full charge
boot into recovery console
CREATE A NANDROID BACKUP
wipe data/ Cache/
wipe user data/ factory reset
wipe Dalvik Cache
Flash rom here http://d-h.st/9zQ
reboot

Know Issues
Camera doesn't work at all
Wifi gets an error/ will not connect (i have been looking at this issue for a month with no success )
Other than these issues I don't know of anything let me know please

You should add "format system" as a step in the OP. It will save you a lot of hassle.
I wipe data then cache then format system then format all partitions except SD, then flash mike1986.'s superwipe script. Then flash the ROM

Good for you. Don't confuse him. He may not be using 4Ext. In 99.99995% of cases wiping/formatting cache, dalvik cache, data, and system is enough. Formatting boot and sd-ext is good too, but not necessary. Tell me what running superwipe will do that hitting "Wipe all except SD" won't do?

*INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING*
-Download the Matr1xRom zip and put it on your sdcard.
Now you have two options for installing
option 1:
1. Boot into recovery from the bootloader
2. wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache
3. flash the rom zip
4. reboot
5. enjoy!
option 2:
1. go into rom manager
2. press "Install ROM from sdcard"
3. find the rom zip and press it
4. make sure "Wipe data and cache" and "wipe dalvik cache" are selected
5. press OK
6. enjoy!

As for themes go,
try to do some kinda of honeycomb/ics thing, im sure that would come off really great.
Just keep things clean don't over theme things that dont need to be themed. minimal stuff is cool. Be bright, colorful, and bold.. just dont be tacky ;]
miui themes are cool too.

Installation Instructions:
Before flashing do a DARKSIDE.SUPER.WIPE
Flash the ROM
Then do a DARKSIDE.CACHE.WIPE before rebooting.
After the first boot, let it sit for a couple minutes.
*The UVLC8 ICS radio is required.*
There are some reports of Touch Recovery causing problems. This is not 100% confirmed, but if you have any problems try non-touch cwm.
This is a base ROM. It is very similar to CM9, which it is based off of. As development continues I expect it to differ significantly. When Samsung releases the source for the T989 I will begin building the ROM, but until then it will be a base ROM.

To enable USB Storage mode go to: Settings -> Storage -> Menu soft key -> USB Computer Connection

It is a .zip you flash before the ROM, it wipes data, cache, etc, but is better than doing it from the recovery. It's not necessary, I just think it is better.

darkside.cache.wipe.zip is also really cool ia use it all the time. its great it wipes cache, dalvik, and fixes permissions. (clears and fixes junk data, easiest way to discribe it)doesnt touch the emmc, sd, system, or data. id grab it to.

I'm looking forward to trying this one out, I've been looking for a clean, barebones ICS ROM without any fancy theming.
Maybe name it Vanilla-ICS (if the name hasn't been taken already)
So far, pretty good... launcher has crashed once but not a big deal.... I look forward to updating soon...

I haven't had any issues with the launcher, let me know if it happens again. I hope to have a update out soon but it's hard to debug when adb isn't working.

THE htc sense which ported by DQIB doesnt work so I edit it and make it work .
I wonder it is better to make a new thread for fixing the bugs .
This rom isnt suitable for daily use , install it only if you are a developer or sense lover

Installation went good, NO MOUNT It's very beautiful, and works great! (besides bugs). Like I said i'm busy with school, I have ''pre-test-week'' and ''test-week'' at school, so I will be very busy with school, but after that VACANTION! So then I can start for-real, but im going to try to help asap

I could be wrong but is the compass not working really an issue?
I recall the One V not having a hardware compass so this may be "by design".
My play store is not working. I've rebooted twice and wiped the play store's data, still no dice. Here's a screenshot of the error it's giving me. Should I try a reflash?'
Edit: reflashing worked. Thanks for the excellent rom! I love MIUI, and running it on Jellybean makes it even better.

Ive had that issue on different roms before, either
1. remove your google account, reboot, then add again
2. reboot into recovery and format /Cache

I have stopped work on CM7 and moved on to CM9 because personally I prefer ICS. The CM7 download will still be there but I will be updating the ICS one only.

Please make it easier to read and nicer, 'cause here ... I'm maybe the only one with this problem, but I don't care, it's my opinion.

yeah i tried,its good but i found it same like cm7 normal just xperia themed,but yeah you can screenshot via power menu,thats cool feature & good effort in making rom.

Just edited the OP and made it better. Included screenshots but too late now.
i noticed that all this looks like miui based on 2.3.7 from henry ( no offence)
